MMI Marketing Fraud

I was called on by an employee of MMI Marketing to switch our business lines to Verizon. There was no savings to be found and we declined. The person came back and told us if we would switch our land line service we would get a savings of 17% on our Verizon cell phone bill which was a significant monthly savings so we agreeded. As you can guess after dozens of phone calls there is no discount available and we can not switch back to our previous carrier.
I found out through the Internet about MMI being affiliated with Verizon and located their address and phone number. I called early one morning and Chris Rae answered the phone, quite surprised how I put together their affiliation with Verizon and assured me their was a discount available. Guess what after weeks of lies and phone calls, no discount, Chris even called me at one time on a private number and told me he was a Verizon employee and was working on my discount and what I needed to do to finalize it, I had finally caught on and told him who he was and wasn't a Verizon employee.
Here is my plan, I am going to sue MMI, Ashley Allen and Chris Rae for the amount of saving I am not going to realize which their employee told me I would. I need help from some one who worked there and can testify to their deceptive business practice any help will be appreciated . Thank you

MMI Marketing EVERYTHING

I watched my friend get promoted to a "corporate trainer" which seems super prestigious, but all it means is that you do more work and most of the time ended up making less. I watched her bust her ### daily by doing all of these things that weren't even her responsibility and putting up with Ashley Allen's crap all the time all for nothing. I met Ashley Allen a few times and she was just a really abrasive and rude person. she thinks that she's super hot and that she has it altogether but this girl is just an alcoholic mess. my friend worked a minimum of 60 hours in the office and then never had time for anything else because she constantly had one on ones set up or needed to be mentored by somebody else. it was all just a load of crap. they tell you that you can work and get a base salary plus commission, but its more than pointless. you can make 300 plus 25% commission but in order to get that, you have to close the required number of applications that only the top sales people do. my friend spent countless days bending over backwards when she has all this crap in her own life she had to deal with. if anyone ever quit, they'd get talked bad about and made an example of until the next person quit on how they're lazy, a slacker, and never going to amount to anything in life. Once you leave that company, if you were ever in Ashley Allen's house or car, you'll get accused of stealing something. sorry, but there's no way that everyone is stealing stuff. maybe if people weren't drunk all the time, they could keep track of there things. I watched my friend cry so many times because she was told she looked like crap or that she wasn't doing good enough and just suck it up because she wanted a better life for her kid. shes finally back on her feet and doing well but the 6 months she worked there you could just watch her slowly fall apart. when she worked there, she was told to make the people that also worked there and interviewed and hired her family and to be friends with them and take them out all the time. she went from making 1000 a week to barely 200 because of all the added stress of taking care of and keeping track of other people and not getting paid for it. that's not how a normal job should be. any normal job, with more responsibilities comes at least a little more pay or bonus or incentive. this company talks about pumping out the next manager, but the only way you can do it is by hiring the most naive individual and hoping that they're strong enough to put up with the crap. no wonder there's only one person besides Ashley there that has made it through that office since its opened. people are smart and Ashleys so stupid she doesn't realize that you cant just treat people like crap and expect them to do the world for you anyways.

I had the exact same experience as the above comments! I applied for a job listed by MMI on Monster and 2 days later got a call from an "HR" Manager who asked me some weird questions about my resume and when I was talking about my job credentials and skills, he simply said I would be using "business" skills. What does that even mean? I had my mom research the company and she confirmed my thoughts. I then got an email confirming my interview...which was scheduled for THE NEXT DAY at the exact time I requested. They happened to have that time free. Right... Then I noticed that the email address was hr@mmimarketing.com. I know zero companies who don't use your name in the email address. Especially for the "Director of HR" as the email was signed. Yea freakin right. I am so upset that there are people out there willing to prey on innocent job seekers. So sad that I wasted my time to even apply but very glad I didn't drive all the way to Pittsburgh for this interview.

Hello. I am so disappointed yet relieved to have read so many experiences and stories about this company. I myself am a recent graduate looking for a job in which I can actually apply my major. I have been applying everywhere in search of a job, and in this economy it's been extremely frustrating. I believed I finally got a breakthrough. I was scheduled to have an interview tomorrow morning with this company. I hate to think how badly I would've been scammed if I had not done any research. It's always worth trusting your instincts. Something didn't sit right with me. For one, I checked out their website, and I did not see any straightforward information on company background, available positions, requirements, or anything familiar. Everything seems very disguised intentionally. I am certain that If I had decided to show up to the interview that these people would have taken advantage of my inexperienced place in the workforce and me being naive. Thank you for sharing your experience on here. It has aided in helping me not walk into a huge trap that may not have been easily to get out of. I am not interested in deceptive work practices. I am glad you took a stand and walked away from this nonsense.

MMI Marketing is a complete scam. Here is my story: I had just graduated college and was, of course, looking for a good job to use my degree. I put all of my energy into sending resumes to positions I thought I would excel in. I received a call back and was ecstatic. I made plans to come to the city for an interview. I was simply so excited. I finally would be able to apply my degree! After the first interview and that rigorous unpaid second interview, I got called back. They said that they were only able to hire one person out of that group. This made me feel super special. I thought "wow, I must really be something if they want to hire me." Boy, was I in for it. Looking back, I was so naive. The signs of a scam were screaming out to me, but being the positive person that I am, I gave it a try anyway. What a waste of time. After one week of this nonsense, I boldy walked out and looked for a job that very same day. I wasted so much money and so much of my time with this place. They are all liars, and want you to be deceptive. I have a little something called integrity. I agree with everyone else's posts. Please, stay far far away from this place. They took so much money and so much time. Also, they don't like it when you ask questions. Each day, it tore me up. It did not feel right. They took up all of my free time. I intend on reporting this to the department of labor and the local police to see if they can help me with this. They must be stopped. Please continue posting if you have had similar experiences.

First off, MMI Marketing, Moxy Marketing, East Coast Innovations, Keen Marketing, are all the same Co. They all have the same manager Ashley Allen. Ashley is a young, inexperienced manager, who has made many unprofessional mistakes. These mistakes have forced her to change the name of her Co., to save face for Cydcor. Her biggest problem is from the...
