Jennifer Johnson, owner of JWalker Ranch - selling Tennessee Walking Horses out of Temecula California conducted her business with me, on two seperate occassions in a deliberately fraudulent manner.
This woman sells horses to people knowing full well that her descriptions of the horses are at best misleading, and more specfically in my case (twice) filled with false information. In the last instance of my business with her she advertised a horse as 9 years old, when he was determined by a well known and respected veterinarian to be no younger than 16 years of age. She futher kept hidden information concerning serious neurological issues with the horse. When the veterinarian she invited onto her ranch advised her of his findings she became violent, cussing out both he and the veterinarians assistant, as well as physcially assaulting the veterinarian with her horse by charging directly at him with the horse she was mounted on.
Following these actions I requested a refund of my money, which she refused to provide. Only after contacting the BBB, and filing complaints with local police, and state officials did she offer a refund, but not before she cussed me out several more times.
Jennifer then reposted my orignal testimonial (written long before all of the trouble with her original deceptive horse sale, and the second such incident) which leads her customers to believe she has sold me a horse, and that I support her business. She knows this to be false, yet continues to post the testimonial despite my request she remove any reference made by me for her business.
As of today, she continues to conduct herself in an unprofessional manner and refuses to remove the testimonial by me, she further posts to her website a photo of me on a horse, leading the general public to believe that she sold me this horse. This is false advertising at a minimum.
Do not buy a horse from this woman, but if you must...have an independent veterinarian examine your potential purchase on her ranch and keep your notes.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I know Joel Tracy personally as a park ranger. My encounters with him have been professional and upstanding. He takes pride in his job and respects the parks that he is entrusted with to protect. I've encountered him on trails in the past and he has always taken the time to answer my questions honestly and with care. I also know that he has owned a horse for the past two years (NOT from J Walker Ranch) and from what I have seen he has done an outstanding job with his horse. She is well-trained and sweet, and he rides her frequently. The other patrons and owners of the ranch speak very highly of Joel.
I think that Michael Slezak (and Jennifer Johnson) must have nothing better to do, and lots of reasons for trying to "protect" themselves against what they claim as "lies." In my experience, when people put this much energy, lies, and defensiveness into attempts to defame someone, it is because they have dug deep holes for themselves and this is a desperate attempt at climbing out of those holes. You both focus a lot of energy trying to defame this one individual. Instead, you should focus your energy on the reasons why other people (unrelated to Joel Tracy) have written bad reports about your businesses. Could it be that you need to take a course in ethics?
I agree with Mr. Slezak. The complaint by Tammy Wardlaw cannot possibly be true for a number of reasons. First, Cinnamon was sold and left the ranch well before Tammy claims to have ridden her. Second, the ranch manager would not have been riding horses in the rain. Third, the ranch manager would not saddle up horses for a random person who drove up and wanted to ride without Jen present.
Whether this is Joel making this up, I cannot say, but the event described most definitely did not happen.
There is no doubt Joel would make this up as he filed false reports with the Riverside Animal Services as well as the Sheriffs department

I've had bad personal experiences with Joel Tracey and so have all my associates in the hot air balloon business in north county San Diego where Joel Tracey works as a park ranger. We do everything humanly possible to avoid his Park Land, but that is not enough for him. He harasses us badly even in area's that go far beyond his jurisdiction.
I can testify that Joel Tracey is a unstable, bizarre, fanatical person. He is a bad wannabe cop, he lies, abuses his power and we caught him red-handed filing a false report to the FAA about the hot air balloons. A peace officer needs to be trusted, that his reports are accurate. We have complained about him to the City of San Diego with some success, and he always loses when he tried to take us to court in about 3 different cases.
Bottom line: Don't believe the above complaint from Joel Tracey about Jen of the JWalker Ranch. email me for more details. I can confirm that everything she says about this complainer Joel Tracey, sounds very true based on my experience with him. We have proof that he is a liar and that is even worse because he is a peace officer who carries a gun! Therefore I do NOT believe his complaint above.

I can see that happening, I found her website read about the horses for sale they sounded awesome so I went there she wasn't home so walked around, horses seemed sweet, went back another day it was rainy again she wasn't there but the worker guy was there riding the horses so we asked him if we could ride a couple he said sure no problem, so he saddled cinnamon up she was nothing like she discribed, Asked him to saddle up a horse named amber I think she was a three coming four year old and what i read about her sounded like a awesome horse. She was so dangerous it was really scary, I'm so glad we went and road when she was not home cause she would have feed us a line of ### from what i have read on all the complaints.
Joel Tracy, the person who posted this complaint, is a very disturbed individual who has a very twisted and false recollection of what really happened. Joel was a friend of the family and after spending many months at the ranch, riding our wonderful horses, he purchased a horse from us. The horse had a pre purchase exam performed by his own vet. He was determined to be completely sound. Joel loved the horse and sent us a long testimonial describing his wonderful experience with our ranch, our staff and our horses. It was posted, along with many others, on my website. Joel was attempting to win back his ex girlfriend with his new horse, however, when his scheme failed, Joel became very upset, demanding his money back and he doesn't want the horse any longer. We took the horse back, no questions asked, and offered to exchange the horse for another (we were unaware of the plan to use the horse to win back his ex until much later). He angrily refused the exchange, threatened legal action and called every state and county agency he could think of to harrass us. After realizing his behavior was dangerous and unpredictable, we refunded his money although we were not contractually obligated to do so. His testimonial was removed from our website. He continues to harrass us with complaints like this one. Joel has gotten everything he requested from us so I'm at a loss as to why he feels the need to trash a good, honest, ethical business who has made and continues to make many many people happy. I guess his actions are a testimony to his unstable character.
