I had 1 W2 and a very easy short form. I was charged $317.00 for 20 minutes of work the tax preparer did. I was not told of the cost when I asked all she said was it depends. I find this totally unacceptable. I teach and I have spread the word across the Internet for peopke to find another tax office. I havery had responses from fellow teachers in 8 different states. We, like everyone else works hard for our money only to have it taken away by the tax man.
