Dr. mark warfel review: Plastic Surgery 14

Dr. Warfel is a fine plastic surgeon -- he has performed thousands of cosmetic surgery procedures with excellent results and his patienst are very happy. This appears to be a misunderstanding over price - nothing else. $3, 500 for any cosmetic surgery procedure with a real plastic surgeon is a bargain and not appropriate complaining about.

I am, and forever will be eternally grateful to Barack for posting his review. He has definitely given me some insight as to the desaster that I eventually saved myself from. On April 26th, I had a consulted with Dr. Warfel about a surgery. After about 5 minutes of meeting, he determined that the surgery could be performed. I was advised to pay five hundred dollars in order to secure the upcoming appointment. Although he advertised the cost of the surgery at $2900. 00, his assistant, Marilyn stated that the cost would be $3500.00. I was then advised to obtain medical clearance from my primary care doctor. I then scheduled a second appointment with Dr. Warfel's office to return on May 3rd to when I would have the results of my medical, and also to pay the balance; this was agreed by all parties involved. I spent the next day securing my medical clearance. To my surprise, after I left my doctor's office, I received a voicemail from Marilyn, stating that something came up and that I need to come into the office to pay the balance, I immediately began to feel uncomfortable with the decision that I had made, seeing that these people aren't trustworthy and are unable to honor an agreement. I immediately dialed Marilyn's number, but she could not be reached. The very next day I tried once more.beasuse I needed an explanation as to reason they had decided to dishonor our agreement. I was rudely told over the telephone that, this was their policy, and if I wanted them to change their policy to suit me?

Dr. Warfel is a fine surgeon -- he has performed thousands of procedures and patients love him. He is Board Certified and has a great bedside manner. He is particularly adept at lipo, tummy tucks and face lifts. I would recommend him very highly based on first hand experience I've had w/ patients who had procedures done w/ him.

I'm stunned to read any bad reviews about Dr. Warfel. My partner and I have been patients of Dr. Warfel for several years now, and he is simply amazing. His office staff is very kind, competent, and friendly. The office space itself is very calming and welcoming. Dr. Warfel is extremely knowledgable and very reliable.

Over the course of my life I've gone to several doctors highly regarded doctors in this field and Dr. Warfel is undoubtedly the best.

1) He is thorough and takes the appropriate time to listen and address all your concerns
2) He is always on top of the latest treatments and emerging procedures
3) He is reachable and prompt in replying
4) His office staff is excellent, friendly, organized and courteous
5) He works to accommodate your schedule

Dr. Warfel does everything he can to make everything easy and comfortable for the patient. Every time I communicate with him or his office, I am shocked that such wonderful people still exist in this city.

I have a shape! I am beyond ecstatic. I made the informed decision to get liposuction of my trouble areas. The results are amazing! I had some fat under my armpits from a breast reduction from 2003 that I just couldn't get rid of; it's now gone. I have unfortunately gained weight and find it difficult to lose now that I am in my 40's despite going to the gym regularly and running. I was an odd shape, no waist with love handles. Every day was a struggle to get dressed to hide my trouble spots. This past Sunday, I wore a 2 piece at the beach. I am more confident because I have a shape now; I have a waist and no love handles. Dr. Warfel even gave me a more distinct shape to my butt- it was just flat and now it's awesome. The procedure and recovery were fully explained to me and there were no surprises; except how amazing I looked so quickly afterwards. Dr. Warfel has also done Botox of my forehead and 11s and filler under my eyes to help with that sunken, exhausted look. I recommend Dr. Warfel highly, he is professional and skilled and I am looking forward to my next procedure.

i don't find hard to believe what Barack is complaining about. i don't know him and i don't care about his job.
i've been to dr warfel 1 and 1/2 year ago for a scar revision. i told
him every kind of medicine i was on, including corticosteroids i
previously used trying to flatten the scar(i used them 1 month and a
half before i went to dr warfel). He operated me making the bad scar i
had a fine line. after a week the scar opened up(dehiscence). i went
back to him, he was asking himself 'how come? you had steroids shots
enough time ago...' i mean ...he was the doctor, not me... then he
operated again, and after a week the wound opened up again. so, instead
of a bad scar, i had had an open wound in the skin, deep, for two
months, the time to go back to my country(italy) and have the surgery
done again. the italian surgeon said :'of course it was because of the
steroids, 1 month and a half could not be enough time to operate. you
don't have diabetes or other desease(that could cause the wound to open
up )'. As a matter of fact, he did a great job. as for dr warfel, worse
doctor i ever met.where did he study?

I did what was needed to request my records from Dr. mark warfel but all I got in return for two copies for a lab with my name misspelled and nothing form his office at all. I requested a record form a interview but did get any think personally from his office. he gave me no personal touch at all. what I got was flippant and rude - I got no personal respect with a type record with the information I requested. i feel he thinks he is above my request as to be hands on ----------- lazy---lazy---lazy and uncaring!

now my lawyer is on the case to force my record from him - i will keep you all posted----- dr mark if you read this? shape up guy! we are all watching you----------- get it together and be more hands on with personal service

I'm confused [censor]ezzzz - where does he say anything at all about silicon injections? He is mentioning a failed butt implant.

The point I was trying to make to [censor]ezzzz, is that it is neither helpful nor appropriate to slander a poster (i.e., label them a 'liar') - especially in lieu of offering any info to support such a claim. Additionally, berating someone on a public site such as this (i.e., "You should be ashamed . . . ") is totally uncalled for.

Rather, they should submit their own review based on personal experience, which may contradict the views of another - as you have so expertly done!

Currently, I'm not looking for a plastic surgeon. However, I'm sure your input will prove INVALUABLE to all who are, especially those considering the services of Dr. Welfar.

It's understandable that you would write such an "empassioned" comment thinking that the prior comment was based on conjecture. However, I am not only a long standing very satisfied patient of Dr. Warfel's, but I also have the displeasure of knowing Barak more personally. Barak, euphemistically, works in "night life, " and has long had an obssession with perfecting his body like so many others. In particular, he had an interest in enlarging his backside so as to make himself more attractive to certain gentlemen (his target clientele).

In trying to accomplish this at a low cost, I along with many others know for a fact that he had previously tried enlarging this area with the use of silicone injections. After the injections proved insufficient, he saw Dr. Warfel for implants. Apparently he was initially happy with the result, but then over time he ended up with slight deformities that you see in the picture above.

Now, it would be speculation to say that it was all due to the silicone injections, however, a little bit of internet research on the subject will show that it is typical for the body to scar and form severe deformities as a result of direct silicone injections in the body. I can't say either way for certain, but what I do know is that he was initially happy and bragging about his results, and then over the course of a few months, the deformities came in (doesn't seem typical for implants unless they were "leaking" and the implants used for butt enlargement are solid, so nothing really to leak out) . . ..

In the end, not looking to pick a fight, just wanted to add a few more facts to the equation . . .

You have no right to accuse anyone posting a complaint on this site of being a 'liar'! It is not for us to judge or attempt to determine whether we perceive a submission to be truthful. You can decide for yourself if you believe a case has merit - or not. However, it is not acceptable to label someone as 'a liar', especially when you offer no evidence to support your claim.

Rather than accuse another of lying, may I suggest you submit an unbiased narrative, espousing the positive experiences / procedures you have had with this doctor. Of course, you would base this solely on Dr. Warfel's skills as a surgeon in the field of plastic surgery, since that is the issue here.

Even so, such input would not negate the validity of this individual's statement. As I'm sure you're aware, some of the most highly regarded surgeons have on occasion, performed procedures that resulted in less than favorable outcomes. It seems inevitable. However, your positive input would certainly offer additional insight for others to evaluate for themselves, should they wish to consider utilizing Dr. Warfel's services. That is, unless you have no personal experiences or first-hand knowledge of his skills to offer. In which case, one would have to question your affiliation. What would motivate you to defend him so vehemently?

Alleging this individual is a 'liar' is completely unwarranted and baseless. Conversely, your unfounded accusations are nothing short of defamation when you lack factual evidence to backup such claims.

But this isn't a court room. My point being, it is never right to slander someone on a website such as this.
Perhaps the only person that should "be ashamed", is you [censor]ezzzz.
