I chose Dr. Calvin M. Johnson to operate on my nose and correct several concerns I had with my appearance. Dr. Calvin Johnson started the process with a very vague, poor, undetailed consultation. He does not have digital imagery, male nose pictures, or any consultation tools in his office in order to have a thorough consultation. Dr. Johnson performs his consultations so that they are vague to avoid liability. Dr. Calvin Johnson does not realize that by being vague during his consultation, he opens himself up to liability, and he fails before he begins the surgery. What Dr. Johnson doesn't realize is that in order to have a favorable outcome after surgery, he has to know what the client wants to change about their appearance. The consultation process is the most important factor in the surgery process, if the surgeon has the skill to carry out your wishes. Dr. Johnson gave me the appearance of exactly what I did not want done to my nose, which made the changes irreversible. I can't warn people enough when I say, don't chose this individual to correct any aspects of your appearance. He is incompetent, and not a detailed professional. He is in the business to make money, and does not care about the results of his actions. His actions will cause you to regret your decision for the rest of your life. If a surgeon can not perform a detailed, comprehensive consultation, and make the client feel like he understands what you want to change, than you will be disappointed with the results. I regret ever letting this incompetent surgeon perform his disfiguring results on my nose.

I believe that a lot of patients feel the way you do Scott. We need to find a way to weed out the poor surgeons we have, and file lawsuits to make examples out these unethical people.
