We were in a quiet DMV office in Eugene OR. Our two year old was happily dancing around. A lady came and told us that she had to sit down and be quiet. She is two. She was not bothering anyone and in making her curb her energy and sit down she proceeded to disrupt the entire DMV with her crying and screaming of "mommy I want to dance." She did not understand what she did wrong. So instead of a pleasnt experience for everyone, this lady turned it into a headache for the 35 people waiting to be called. Because now instead of enjoying the cuteness of a two year olds dancing they were forced to listen to her screaming and crying as we had to hold her down. I do not appreciate having to curb my childs creativity she was not being a danger or jumping on furniture or anything she was simply being quiet and happily dancing.

I bought a pick up in Washington state and live in Oregon state. The dealership mailed the license plates to the Woodburn Oregon DMV because that was the closest office to where we live. We received a three day trip permit from the dealership which ended on a Sunday so right away we had to run to the DMV to get another permit for two weeks while we waited for the paperwork/plates etc...Two weeks later still nothing and the permit is expired. So I called Salem and was told that the Woodburn DMV only checks their mail once a month and we would have to go and buy another permit! I am furious! What kind of a business checks gets their mail only once a month? Especially one with citizen's time sensitive information that results additional costs and fees to the citizen. What is the recourse when a state run office bilks the people fees that they might not otherwise have to pay if it weren't for the fact that the DMV did't pick up their mail once a month!?!? Outrageous! It cost another $35 for another permit!

Hello my name is johnny harness I was in a motorcycle accident on August 19th of last year and lost my leg almost lost my arm broke tons of bones and was expected not to live I survived but spent over a hundred days in the hospital and had at least 40 different surgeries on my leg I was in a coma for 2 weeks after the accident and suffered from amnesia from the whole thing it has been quite the battle yesterday I decided it was time for me to get a handicap placard for my car since I have been driving for the last month it's been learning process to learn how to drive with my left leg but now it is easy. when I turned in my paperwork at the DMV to get my handicap placard yesterday  the lady informed me that my license was suspended because I didn't fill out an accident report from my motorcycle accident I explained my situation and how I was in an accident and in a coma for 2 weeks and the fact that I was in the hospital for a hundred days and then even went to an assisted living home after that I did not receive the notice from the DMV saying that my license was suspended I don't know why but because of the accident and losing my job I couldent afford to pay rent so while I was in the hospital my mom packed up my things and moved me out of the place i was living she never received any mail from the DMV and either did I so this was news to me yesterday. the lady at the DMV contacted the accident unit to see if they could waive the $75 reinstatement fee so that I could get my license back I was contacted this morning and told that they would not waive the fee that it has to be a mistake made by an employee at the DMV for them to be able to wave the fee. Its really black and white and there's nothing she can do she said. I don't know what to do. I have no job and I don't even start getting an income until the end of the month for disability I can't pay the $75 reinstatement fee and honestly don't deserve to have a suspension on my license. I used to have a class A drivers license to drive semi truck and now even though I will probably never drive again I couldn't anyways because there's a suspension on my record now. I think that the DMV is wrong for what they are doing to me they have no care at all and even though I have the best excuse in the world and a true one they still don't care and they just want their money I don't know if you can help but I think that other people should see how someone in my situation is treated if you can help please my name again is johnny harness you can call anytime or e-mail johnnyharness@gmail.com

next time get a babysitter and she can dance all she wants at home. It's not appropriate for a place of business.
