I went to this location to join because it was located a few minutes from my work place. I found out that I could get a discount at Ballys through Wal-Mart, which was the company I was working for at the time. So I get there, and I speak with an assistant manager named "Ricky". I told him that I really liked the gym, and that I was interested in it because of my coporate discount. He said, " Yeah I have your discount right here...", looking at his computer. I asked, "...I want month to month, so I can cancel anytime, and I want my discount too." "Sure, I can do that". He printed out the contract and the discount was no where to be found. He said that it was going to show up on my monthly payments. Come to find out, he got me a 3 year contract, including raquetball, which the facility does not have, with a total of over $1300. I can't afford that. So I talk to his manager, Reggie, and explain the situation. He said that he would talk to his district manager, and see what he could do. So I go home, wait a day or two, and call back. He said that all I had to do was sign up through wal-mart's website, show proof of it, and the $1300 plus contract would be annuled. So I do exactly what he say's. Call him back, told asked if everything is o.k., he said yes, my $1300 contract was taken care of. Now, 3 months later, I get a late bill for that very contract, saying I haven't been paying. I'm already paying for the membership contract I signed through Wal-Mart. This gym owes me a refund, and they need to cancel the other membership because it is going to now be on my credit record. Nothing is being done, no matter who I call. WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH A GYM.
