Discrepancy in commitments!
Complaint Rating: 97 % with 37 votes
It was committed on taking the membership Mr. Cool for INR 1,15,000.00 in Bangalore India, that this membership is valid across all country clubs and their affiliated clubs across India. All facilities can be used 'Free of any costs' other than food and accommodation and plot of land which was said to be 'C9, Country Grove Phase XIV near Tumkur is blocked under my name.

Now after 2 months of getting the membership I have still not got the allotment letter for the plot. And when I wanted to access the Gym at the Begumpet country club I was stopped and was told that I need to pay additional charges to access the facilities.

I have written to the customer care couple of times and am still waiting for an explanation to come across.

I feel cheated!

Hi all,

Well I am a new member with membership for Mr. Cool where i pay 30,000/- INR towards membership charges, the AM-Assistant Manager will come to our place and doesn't mind to give even the brochures for the club, these people doesn't know what kind of service to be given to the member or the future member of the club. They didn't give me any details of the clubs for which I took membership in Bangalore they said around 6 clubs but not with any brochures.

I feel hesitated to go to any club without proper permission which the AM-Assistant manager promised to give before taking my card details of hdfc and citibank. The permission letter to enter to this club is just being written on one piece of paper and some previous outdated visiting card is thrown at our face. As their intension of grabbing money from us is over. Hoping to get my permission letter to enter the club and the membership card.

Still I dont what all other consequence I need to face with this club. So people think twice before enrolling to this club. Dont go by marketing it may be disturbing telephone calls as well.

Hoping that the club management will consider and my effort to lodge a complaint will no go in vain.

I too a victim like all of you. Their service is very bad and managers very proud and not even speak with you once you have taken membership. Service people are there only to collect your money, so that they get some incentives and they enjoy. I fell they are not human beings.

Hi, even i have taken the mr.cool card membership after paying 1,15,000 and also an additional charge of 15000 for site registration and its been 3 months now and i still have not got any reply from them. The registration charges was paid in the name of amrutha estates. After hearing all this reviews i am afraid that i have lost the money. I am planning to visit there office this week and talk to them about my site registration or else to return my money back by canceling my membership. If they don't agree Where should i give the complaint about them.

This is stupid club i have ever seen... There intention is always to take money and enjoy. They have no proper service. What they say is all filthy, worthless. They should be punished for such offenses. They said that they will provide accommodation free for the members. But now even that they say that "it will cost a member" ridiculous. Worst way to develop a business. Please do not believe any one in the country club.

Hello Friends, I was also one of the victims of the Country Club, Marketing Execs, who just promise anything to get our signatures on the application form, they promise you a Goa Trip, 1 or may be 2 or may be even 3 plots(but they will ask you not to disclose this to any other members as they will also start asking).

Anyways, the reason I am writing this note is to let you know that, you can definitely get help from one person at Indiranagar Office(not the Country Club BPO office) but another one near the KFC in Indranagar.

I got to know about the dirty tricks these ppl from CC have to lure us into these deals and though I had to go to that office for atleast 2 month, I went there and followed up with one of the managers(not sure if he is still there, but he boasts to be with CC for last 10 years, not sure how he has managed to be with that Comp for such a long time), I managed to get the amount reversed on my Credit cards and really happy that I am out of that crap.

I am in the US now, and that is also one of the reasons why I opted out of that offer is bcoz I will not be using the services of CC anyways, so they fortunately agreed and I got the money back!!!

During my last visit to HYD, I saw these big posters of the Chairman(Whatever Reddy he is).. he feels he is one of those Hollywood heroes and he is the one advertising for CC... oh my god!! Someone has to tell that old fellow that he doesnt have any charm which would make ppl enroll for their services. Infact if they really have to offer something serious then they have to do some serious business and not cheating ppl.

SO Finally I would like to say that, there is person in Indiranagar Branch, Bangalore near KFC, who can actually help you guys with that problem, also unfortunately I dont have any of the telephone numbers.
ALL THE BEST PPL, Keep us posted incase anyone gets a refund, I will be really happy .

1. I received a phone call from a representative of Country Club, Bangalore (Mr Azam) that I had filled in a form at Garuda Mall and had been chosen as the ‘lucky winner’ from 2,500 applicants. Mr Azam offered three ‘free gifts’ – which included a Rs 25,000 worth holiday (one week’s stay at a five-star hotel in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Goa or Kerala), a one-day free outing at Country Club Sarjapur Rd, and a free ‘crystal’ kitchenware.

2. With so many freebies on offer and since their office was near Forum Mall, Bangalore, I decided to have a brief ‘dekko’ at their set-up after a shopping spree at Forum on a holiday. There were enough warnings on the internet about Country Club. Some of my friends had also warned me about the workings of Country Club. Notwithstanding, I decided to have a first-hand experience. So, this is how it went.

3. Their modus-operandi is to ask the husband and wife to witness a two-hour long grinding sales pitch. Each couple is dealt at a separate table with a salesperson armed with a laptop and a long form requiring all personal details of the couple. It was fairly obvious that the salesperson was attempting to find our spending habits and our credit card details. They also made it clear that the ‘freebies’ could be collected only after hearing their entire long-winded sales pitch of about two hours. Also, they wanted both the wife and the husband to be present (possibly to jointly sign on their various forms). My husband who had flatly refused to attend the con, was not present anyway and it took me about fifteen minutes to realise their modus operandi. So I walked out fifteen minutes later, sans the ‘FREE CRYSTAL’ kitchenware or any of their other promised freebies. A total waste of time – but a curious experience nevertheless, of how some devote their entire energies in to conning gullible people.

My goodness, that was mind-boggling!! I just receieved a call from one of the executives at CC and after the initial promises about a 2 free plots (sized 30x40 sft.) near the Devanahalli Airport and some week-long free stays at Goa or Kovalam; he then began asking me about some financial stuff. As in, which bank you have an account with, which credit card and the average credit card bill. I didn't feel like giving out the details but felt that their offer was quite intriguing. To add to the goodies, he also told me that it is a lifetime membership that they are offering and it will be transferred to 3 future generations. Too good to be true!

But after reading all your experiences, I am thanking my stars for saving me. I wonder, how these people are still running their shows, fooling unsuspecting people and unashamedly posting their hoardings at the major crossroads of the big cities.

One of your executive Mr. Jacob Logo comes at my Honeywell office, last week (roughly) of July. We have talk regarding the membership of country club. We come at conclusion that after visiting the site at Chikballapur, I will go for the membership. He has asked me to give some credit card number, he punched the number on some paper, and he has taken the signature on the membership form. He told after one or two day’s you will get the verification call from country club, but I have not get any call from the country club, I have just get the message from ABN Amro that 75000/ has been transferred from my credit card account. I was socked after getting that message. Immediately I talk to ABN Amro People and I have lodged the complain against that. Under these circumstances I don’t want to go for the membership. I will be grateful to you once you look into the issue and rectify it as early as possible and revert back the money to ABN Amro.

I totally agree with you. I have joined with CCIL in Nov-2005 and still getting wrong commitments about my plot allotment from Country Club.
This club cheated me and not less than 20friends who are working in Microsoft. Even today 01/Oct/2007 I followed-up with country club and they promised to give the allotment letter today; but I am sure that I am not going to get it in the near future. I paid rupees 99,000/- ; did not use any facilities of CCIL and I am 101% agreed to say that I am cheated.
Customer care and customer handling in Amrita Estates is worse than I have ever seen.
So, please don't go by the promises and do not even refer this company to anyone. Feel free to call me if you still need clarifications - 91-9886190240(Bangalore)

Truely,
Eby

Country club is a bull shit club. The directory Rajeev Reddy looks like a APE escaped from an African jungle.

Do not fall into those false offers!

Why is no legal action being taken against them? Looks like this Rajeev Reddy is cheating people out of their hard earned money!
333 days ago by Sunil [send email]
Hi All,

I would like to let you know that this club was not like this before, I think Rajeev is getting greedy by the minute.

All beware not to sign any application form nor talk to country club. If you are getting bored to death try spending time with family.

God punish TCC!
