Braden Magazines review: I was charged again without permission later. 5

I received a phone call from Braden Magazines and a person who said they were a prize coordinator. The company offered opportunities to win several prizes if I subscribed to any of a list of magazines. I told them I wanted to subscribe to magazine. The person on the phone said that the charge would be $49.95. I paid with my debit card and was charged again without permission later.

I have been done the same way they told me I have won one of the three prices and then Mr. James Canton if that's his real name told me I had to subscribes to the magazines at 3.99 a week for three month at 17.00 a month and then he change it and said I had to pay 49.95 for 60 month for magazines I didn't need or want. I told him I was no longer interested and ended the call and when I checked my bank statement they still took 49.95 from my account. I will see also what I need to do to report them as well.

They told me i won some magazines i said ok then he started to tell me it would have to pay $49.95 i told him i couldn't afford it i was on a budget and couldn't afford it. And turned arounded and took my money out of account woth out my perrison.

Originally I was called and told I had won a prize. Then I was offered some magazines of which I agreed to. However, with most companies you have the right of refusal within the first 72 hours and I changed my mind and called and refused them. The money should have never been taken off of my card and it was anyway. Then when I called they told me it would take 7-10 business days to get my refund back. 7-10 business days passed and I called them and complained but still haven't received my refund. No other company has ever done this to me before. Usually I get a refund in 5 business days tops. Not with this company. They are scammers. I called them again to speak with the manager and she told me she would put in a second request but that it would take another 7-10 business days on top of what it already has. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

This company rip me off the same way as it did the person above. I'm turning them in to my states attorney general office for fraud.

I cancelled six subscriptions and was charged $39.88 on my mastercard and would like the amount credited to my account.
