BigPoint's game Dark orbit gives an unfair advantage to some players costing other players money. I have complained about these obvious occerances many times. I have been told by bigpoint that it is imposible for these things that happen to occur. So, the only logical conculsion on my part is that BigPoint is allowing this to occur in order to profit, off individuals. The latest occurences happened just prior to me filing this complaint. the controls fail to function properly while in battle with the company mmo.

Let me tell you that you have no idea how the place truly works, and the way their so-called "customer team" treats the customers.
They are so obnoxious that they drive people to very angry outbursts.
Bigpoint is one big con, the coding in the games is constantly full or errors and the blame for this isn't put onto the coders, it is blamed on the players.
I was accused of cheating on one of their games after an error showed up in their coding, I never did cheat, but they will not accept this.
All they tell me is that I am a cheat and there is no error in the coders findings, yet, it was the coders that made the error in the first place.
The customers have no say.
Once they make their minds up, players are found guilty, whether they are guilty or not.
There is a lot more to this, they are a total scam. |

My experience with DO (by German BigPoint) is very bad.
For somebody (especially children) could be habit-forming. Ambiguous or faulty rules (you'll find it sooner or later when playing). Arrogant administrators (especially CZ/SK). Often swearwords and abuse in (CZ/SK) chat used. Instability/errors in GUI.
Administrator can ban you from the chat or user forum for more days without any warning or noticing (amin chuckling calls it "silent murder") just because of two letters in name (in my case BA as Bratislava) or for copying one Wikipedia page at user forum (30day ban) when arguing about that so called "BIG" should be added to The Rules, so users can recognize, it's a "crucial personal information", they cannot mention in chat (or 7days ban).
Administrators (CZ/SK) use swear words in replies to users i.e. "an*l alpinism" or "as*-crawler", etc. If user asks to get any explanation of The Rules admins often ignore him or block him on user's forum.
In chat (even in "prime-time" 8:00-11:00 PM) is often a rude language, abuse and insulting seen. Children can join this "trash talk" without any problems.
Ambiguous or faulty rules are hard to find from the main screen (but you'll find game features easily). There's no list of penalties mentioned in The Rules, so it's a pure administrator's "free-style".
So if you're calm, asking for nothing, complaining for nothing, just paying for Uridium, everything is fine. But if you are at the top with ship equipment (no much further fees expected?) or mention any technical problems with your ship control in chat (cost me 500 uri and 2-day ban), troubles begin (jeer, ban, blocking, ignoring...). My advice is, be very careful, if your consider to start with Dark Orbit!

They charged me 19.06 then 103.88, this for 99.99 USD purchase, as a result they suspended my account for lack of funds on a prepaid card !!!
Now for 4.54 they want me to pay 111.37 for an error they did! So I can get what I already paid for !
I have the statement to prove it as well, I am consulting with MasterCard and will attempt to get a charge back on the canceled transaction ( they took the money and canceled the transaction ?? That's theft in my book )
Takes forever to get anything from them and if I go to the MISC support section I always get the same 2 guys !
Now they usually help but this time it's like I have the plague!
I sent them the statement and requested to speak with someone in billing.
When was the last time you tried spending more money than you had on a prepaid credit card ? It's impossible !
Something is wrong and they wont even tell me anything !
BigPoint are not customer friendly, admins are amateurs that get Uridium for administrating the forums and chat. I got banned for trying to tell someone how to ping. I got suspended for an error they made.
I will not be going back.
I was LVL 15 FE goliath and I think I'll be better of spending my money elsewhere like in a normal business who appreciates it's customers business! Not some money grabbing gestapo outfit like BigPoint. I swear Billing support are descendants of Adolf Hitler, they sure act like it. It's not smart business to piss off your clients. Look what happened to Dell. |

I always have a hard time getting problems fixed. Matthew Milligan and Etienne Belmar almost never
fix a problem without my having multiple email conversations with them - and them threatening to
suspend my account. The two of them are ineffectual as support and rude. Worse than no help at all.
In fact, I am worried that the more I complain about a problem the worse my ship functions and the easier
it pops. I expect that next they will just suspend my account and/or change the password and tell me:
"awww - too bad - you got hacked.
Curious about my current situation and fears -- I Googled Bigpoint darkorbit complaints - and now I see
and read your complaints and concerns. So now, I extremely worried and concerned.
I have already spent about $250 and countless hours playing this game - but i'm afraid to spend more $$$
buying uridium to upgrade my ship - when my account could be suspended or "hacked" and I would have
no reasonable expectation that they would feel the need or obligation to reimburse me. |

| yes big point is horriable i bought uri from them and about a month later i recived a message stating that a third party tried to access my paypal account, after going to court and getting a supena i recived a discloseure of info about that person which turns out to be bigpoint games after multiple messages Matthew Milligan stated that he is the highest ranked person at bigpoint and he has double checked and no one tried to access my paypal account even tho i have an ip address that tried to access my paypal account owned by bigpoint |

where to start!
Support: there is no actual support, only few people that give you automatic copy past reply w/o actually checking ur problem, always the end user fault, even if its a coding error. and 99% the clear ur cache reply. if you have a real big problem, they don't double check for error, just stick to there main idea. my account got banned for the reason that some players have reported me because they think i'm too strong! well where is my fault if i'm strong and they are noob! and support isn't willing to check my acc. in details to see if i used a script or no.
Currency: game is getting more and more costly! and BP still advertise for it as a free game! where players that don't buy huge amount of uri. will never have a chance in the game! impossible to hit the 1000 top ranking if ur not a well paying customer! personally i spent more then 4k$ and got 0 support from the company when i got baned! they even refused to check in detail my account.
Game experience: I like the type of game, idea and everything is good, but game is most of the time unplayable! load of lag! load of script errors, coding errors, and many things to make your gaming experience unpleasant.
Ethical behavior: what i noticed from my experience and what i sow, and what i heard and read from other people, i can say that BP have no ethics in business! i don't recommended anyone using there games. i have prof that some players got there account unbanned for the same reason that other players still have there account banned! when u contact support with this claim, they tell u that they have the right to ban and unban who they want! and so, customers don't have any way of defense!
I can write pages on Dark orbit and Big point, and how they steal account, how support is totally inificiant, i have writen proof on the unethical behavior of support, and honestly, if i didn't come from a country, where lawyers take loads of $ for a case, i would have definitely sewed Big point for banning my account for no reason, and for all the unethical practice!

big points have stolen money off me and their so called support are absolutely useless.i paid for six monthas premium on my account using paypal and they have removed it after 3 months.i tried to solve this with paypal but after 45 days it is not possible, bigpoints are saying they cannot find any payment details but i have sent them the unique paypal payment code.as far as i am concerned this is theft and i will do everything in my power to sort it, and happily bad mouth the useless german company

| My account was just drained of over $500 in forced debits by Bigpoint.com after I spent 12.99 for my child. Bigpoint's German number is constantly fast busy, calling from US racking up charges, I emailed support and havent heard a thing. I found their FB and posted there for them to contact me and screen shotted it because they keep deleting my post. THey refuse to deal with their customers who are being stolen from. Card is cancelled, charges disputed but from what I am reading it looks like I get to look forward to collections if I get my money back (45 days from the card issuer). I cannot believe a company is allowed to practice business like this. They took every penny I had in the account! THIS IS STEALING AND FRAUD! |

| My son just told me that he is speaking with someone in game and they said he would be banned if he submitted a complaint. This company needs to be shut down. Why a business located in SF only provides an international number to deal with issues (and you can't get through) is ludicrous. I demand justice! |

I have also noticed on dark orbit that certain things are forbidden or against the rules, yet some people are allowed to get away with it whilst others arent, the people who are allowed to get away with things are the playiers at the top of the rankings, people give their accounts away, sell them on ebay, give them to friends etc and the account is not banned, the CMs in chat have full blown conversatikns with the players they know, yet if they dont know you and you ask a question in chat you get ignored and have to ask for help multiple times before they will even awknowlede you are speaking to them.
Support on this game is the worst support team I hve ever had the mis fortune to deal with, every little thing is the players fault, it is never a problem with the game, it is always the player or the players computer or the player didnt do this or that, in the end when I had a problem I refused to even contact support about it as they are as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
There is no point playing this game anymore because botters have taken over the game and support cannot do anything to stop them. The botters basically get a program and it enables them to play the game without being at their computer, so in effect they are making uri, ammo, credits, building gates etc for free whilst everyone else has to work for it, botting is supposed to be against the rules and a banable offence but they have been doing it for a few years now and all support ever say is "we have a script that picks up botters and they will be dealt with when we find them" the thing is the same players have been botting for a year or more, and normal players cant keep up with them, the botters make all the free ammo then go around killing normal players.
Dark orbit died a death 2 years ago when the botters came along. Support are spinelss and only email you back when they want to.
Do not waste your money on this game, worst thing I ever did, I will not lower myself like that again. |

This company is a fraud and they are not helpful
i was upstairs one evening and not even logged into dark orbit when my account was hacked. i checked my account that night and someone had taken 2 lots £70 out of my account to buy uridian and then seconds later taken £70 out of my wifes account. (both credit cards details were stored on the website for ease) i reported this to my bank and to bigpoint, who sent me an automated e-mail. they did not listen to my complaint and refused to believe it had been hacked. i reported this to the police whoo are well aware of this happening before. i contacted bigpoint and told them to suspend my account, which it took them nearly a week to do and only after i sent 3 e-mails telling them to suspend it. i have now been billed for another £70 from bigpoint as whoever hacked my account also set up a subsciption. my account is suspended and bigpoint expect me to pay for a subsription for a game that was hacked, that i suspended and that i dont play anymore. my bank has refunded me my money because they recognise it as a fraud but bigpoint are still trying to get this extra subsciptiob money of me.
they are a very unhelpful company who obviously dont care about there customers and have a very un-secure gaming site. there still say my account is my responsibility??? even if its hacked???

In cases of third party usage on an account it is considered the actions of the account owner. This is stated in the Terms and Conditions of the game that the account owner is responsible for their account security and any actions which may occur on the account. The account owner must endure any penalties given against the account, even if performed by third party access. This would include cases of hacking."
i cant believe a company would be so unhelpful and believe the VICTIM OF A FRAUD should be responsible for what the fraudsters do????
i would like any advice on this matter, i have contacted the police again and im taking legal advice but any help is usefull |
