I lost over 60 000 Aeroplan miles... miles that I earned through customer loyalty! Those miles were money in the bank: I was saving them for a trip to Greece with my family. I am so disappointed, and pissed off! They took money that belonged to me without any notification whatsoever! If a bank took all of your money out of your account without notifying you, just because you didn't have any "recent" transactions, they would have a class action lawsuit on their hands!

I am faxing the company today, but am not really hopeful of a reply.

To get their attention, I am informing them that I have also sent a copy of my letter to the media, with a link to this website. Maybe someone in the media will recognize this as a good story and we can have some hope of getting our points/money back.
