I thought i was finally getting to use a reliable prepaid/Debit mastercard by setting up direct deposit but is sounds like they just giving me around.

I'm not sure whats going on with this company.But after today i will not be getting direct deposit through this company.This morning when I checked my account it told me my paycheck was there.When i went to the store my card was declined, which was very embarrassing.I called achieve card and all i'm getting is an automatted voice message.I feel like we all are being scammed.And they are hiding behind the telephone.We can't even talk to noone live. What is going on with my money? It's the holiday and I had plans.Now my plans are cancelled.

I agree...I have had this company for months with no issues...until today! I even found the number for corporate, but of course they are closed. When I did get a live operator, she told me that all systems were down. So I ask...how in the hell can all systems be down, yet their message says "Due to the high volume of deposits, it is taking longer than normal" ?? I fail to accept that the only system up and running is the one taking money from Palm Desert National Bank! !! I can only hope and pray that my money becomes available before morning, or there will be a criminal investigation and lawsuit against Achieve! Guaranteed!

I dont know whats going on with them but after today i will not direct deposit with them.. I went to the store and my card decline but my check is showing that it post to my account... you cant talk to anyone and im broke... why is today deposits any different than any other day...

O MY IM AFRAID!! THIS IS ONLY MY SECOND DEPOSIT AND I CANT BELIVE IM GOING TO BE WITH NO MONEY!! THE FIRST DEPOSIT SCARED ME BECAUSE IT DIDN'T SHOW UNTIL 11:00A AND NOW THIS?? I CANT EVEN GETTHRU THE WEBSITE IS SUDDENLY DOWN AND NOT WORKING AND THE PHONE LINES ARE BUSY!! IVE BEEN WITH ACCOUNTNOW FOR YEARS!!! WITH NO PROBLEMS!! THEY WERE THE BEST!! I WILL CANCEL THIS CARD AS SOOON AS I FIND MY MONEY AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN BBB ACCREDITED

I don't know what's going on with this! This is my first DD and this happens! I will not use these people again!!! I need my money, I'm going to be broke on New Years!!!

I say if we don't have our money by tomorrow morning, we file a class action lawsuit and launch a criminal investigation. I smell Fraud! This IS unacceptable.

I too am mad as hell because my money is not available. My direct deposit went into my account on 12/28/09, and now I can't access ANYTHING! It's a huge problem when the company that you've entrusted with your money can't be reached via phone or internet.

I think by now the company has to realize that they stand to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars when people start withdrawing money tomorrow. This of course assumes that - the money ever becomes available again. I for one, have cancelled all future deposits with this firm. However like yourself, I am out a significant amount of cash They don't bother to update their website or their automated messages either. I hate to say it, but I definitely smell a scam coming on here big time.

i agree, its been months with no problems, but this is bs and completely unacceptable, i'm pissed i had to cancel my plans tonight, but i got two kids to take care of and i need my hard earned money and i'll be damned if this will fly, this is jepordizing my ability to take care of my children, during a divorce none the less, my money better be available by morning or there will be hell to pay!!!

It's 2:12am CST and now the Achieve Login page is completely inaccessible. It reports with "Error -404...page has been moved or deleted." I will be contacting the FBI in the morning! Achieve can burn in hell! Rest assured, someone WILL be in jail for this!

AS SOON AS MY MONEY WENT INTO MY ACCOUNT I TRANSFERED IT TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT AND MY NEXT CHECK WILL NOT GO TO ACHIEVE I HAD IT WITH THEM THIS TIME THEY SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME I HOPE EVERYBODY GETS THIER MOMEY AND DOES LIKE ME TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE GOOD LUCK TO AQLL OF YOU AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

All of my money was missing as well, but on Jan 2nd, I was able to go to the ATM and withdraw my money up to the daily limit and I have since gotten all of my money out. I advise everyone to do the same. I wish youu luck.

My name is Ryan and I work for Achieve in Austin TX. Hopefully I can shed some light what happened on 12/31. Our technology partner that helps processes deposits onto cards had an outage for several hours. This outage delayed processing of many deposits until the afternoon of 12/31. In addition, the screens that our reps use to help callers were also affected by this outage. We understand how important it is to get your deposit to you quickly, and not being able to access the account screens made a bad situation even more frustrating for everyone. From all of us here at Achieve we sincerely apologize for the deposit delays and overloaded phones on 12/31. This outage was out of the ordinary and we’ve taken steps to ensure it never happens again.

We’re also testing a new system that will speed up deposits and make funds available earlier. This new system should be ready in a few weeks. You’ve asked for faster deposits, and we’ve listened. I like working here because unlike a big bank we actually listen to our customers, take action, and make things better. I’m sorry about what happened on 12/31, but I assure you this was an isolated incident. Our customer service team is a very good group of people (I work alongside them here in TX). They really care about our customers and we’re all dedicated to making our product and service even better.

Any preauthorization amount will place a “hold” on your available funds until the merchant sends us the final payment amount of your purchase. Once the final payment amount is received, the preauthorization amount on hold will be removed. It may take up to 45 days for the hold to be removed. During the hold period, you will not have access to the preauthorized amount.

Achieve CARD is a SCAM.. They aren't open on Weekends. They have one person answering the phone and their are usually 24 calls ahead of you. I was on hold for a hour, don't believe me call 1-800-486-0873 and see how far you get. They are not open on weekends and your direct deposits don't go through at midnight like all other normal Banks, they go through whenever they get the chance to process them.

FYI, they are not a part of the BBB Business... This company should be closed down

This card is the worst get your money and never turn back i had my check deposited in this account everything was fine until i was going to pay my cellphone bill and then only had 40 dollars and i still had a week until my next paycheck this is the worst everybody should cancel their card never evn use them. If everybody cancells their cards they will lose. GET YOUR MONEY!

The preauthorization "holds" are standard with ALL debit cards, even from big-name banks. Also, they seem to be fully-staffed to me. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to talk to somebody. I've called several times and I always take down names. I've spoken to well over 20 people in the course of being a customer, so I don't know where you get the idea that there's only one person there or the long hold times.

I agree with everyone up here. It seems customer service is by far lacking when it comes to this company. I have had many card's of this nature and I have never witnessed anything like this. When it comes to money and people's lively hood, it matters a great deal when you have no idea what is being done or even if anyone can be reached when you have very real concerns. I am very worried that the funds I have already directed to be deposit with these people, will be safe. So I agree with all of you, when your money does post I encourage you to withdraw your funds and find some other company that you can trust. I truly wish I had read all these complaints before allowing my tax refund to be deposited here.

And to D14, how dare you come on this site and pretend you actually have a clue on which you speak. If you had read xxxpeanut's comment, you would see that nothing in her writing ever mentions being unemployed. Not to mention the fact that xxxpeanut said because her deposit was missing, she currenlty only had $40. She is very clear when she said her CHECK. So please read correctly before you pass down ignorance.

P.S.

I recommend calling local and national agency that deal with issue's of this manner. And to cause a public storm placing "Achieve Card" directly in public view. If the world is watching it becomes very difficult to behave like loan sharks or scammers. I also plan to contact my local representative in office to find what measure's are allowed and what steps they can take when operating in my state. So take care everyone and God bless!!
