CIC is billing me monthly for a service I do not use, do not need and can't seem to stop. I will call them, write them, report them to the BBB and to the attorney general. Shame on CIC!

I just got paid yesterday! I took $ for my mortg paymt and 30.00 gas. ONLY!! I called the acct line @ my bank, 29.90 wtdrn from my acct. I called the bank and CIC is the culprit! Lately, I call my bank daily to be sure there is no hanky-panky with my account!! MyFICO caused a glitch in my acct. and WILL NOT REFUND MY $, NOW THIS...! WHAT IS ONLINE SERVICE COMING TO?
OH, I CANNOT CALL THEM BECAUSE IT IS 7:00 A.M. IN CALIFORNIA...NOONE IS WORKING AT THE BANKING INSTITUTION RIGHT NOW. I will come back to this website to give you the results of my adventure, because I am sure it will be a TRIP!!

Same thing is happening to me. I find it hard to believe that with complaints that are over 540 days (1 1/2 yrs) and the FTC has not shut them down yet!! What the heck is going on??
There has got to be a solution, and if anyone knows about one PLEASE let me know I am a 100% disabled Veteran and I can NOT afford this kind of loss every month and I need help!!

I HAVE PHONED IN THE PAST THAT I DID NOT WANT THIS SERVICE AND THAT I WAS NOT TO BE CHARGED FOR IT. i WAS TOLD AT THE TIME OF THE PHONE CALL THAT I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED IN THE FUTURE. LOOKING AT MY CHARGE STATEMENTS I FOUND THAT I HAVE BEEN CHARGED ALL YEAR FOR THIS SERVICE. I PHONED IN NOV AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD STOP THE CHARGES AND NOT CHARGE= ME IN THE FUTURE. THIS DID NOT HAPPED I HAVE BEEN CHARGED THE PAST 6 MONTHS. I WILL PHONE IN THE MORNING AND DO NOT WANT THIS SERVICE IT WAS SUPPOST TO BE FREE.

The same thing happened to me.
My bank told me to just get a new checking card. It's just that Cic Triple Advantage has my card number and will continue to charge my card until I change it. I changed it right away.

Add one more unhappy camper to the list. We got the free credit report, I put a task on my calendar to cancel the trial. I presume I called, because I marked the task as complete. This year, we're compiling data for taxes, and note 12 months worth of charges. I call to cancel. A rude person, who would not give any identity information, would not connect me with a supervisor, and would not refund any charges. I asked him to cancel nonetheless.

Next month, another charge. I called back, their records show I called and that I had canceled. They (re-)canceled and offered 2 months refund. I asked who I needed to contact for the remainder of the charges and got the Irvine fax number. I faxed, saying that clearly their records were flawed in at least one case, and given my records, it was likely that they had failed to cancel not once but twice.

I just received a form letter response that acknowledges none of the content of my fax.

Truly remarkable. My next step is to write a letter and copy the Attorney Generals for California and my state.

They keep charging me. I never authorized the charge. I don't see how they can do this without even giving them any banking details. I simply viewed my credit report.

I got charged almost $45 from this triple advantage. I contacted my bank and was told to contact the company directly. The first person I talked to was extremely rude and told em it was something I must have set up or they wouldn't have been able to charge my card. I demenaded to speak to a Supervisor, the first person told me she could give me $15 of the charges back for my misunderstanding. I have to admit I was very angry at this point and demended to speak to her Supervisor. When I spoke to the Supervisor she said she could only give me $30 back, I demanded the full $45 refund and she stated that someone must have stolen my credit card information to get my credit report. Honestly. Why would someone steal my credit card information to get a credit report from a company that advertises free credit reports? Anyway after a very long arguement and alot of yelling on my part, they are refunding my money and as soon as the money is in my account again I am changing all of my credit card and account information so that I can't be charged again. I realize I was told my account was closed, but they took the money the first time I wouldn't put it past them to do it again. From my experience you really have to get upset and yell at these peaople to get all of your money back, otherwise they may try to convince you that you've been the victim of identity theft or that you set up the account and authorized the charges even if you have it (I thought they were going to try to tell me I did it in my sleep or something). Good lucj to all the other CIC Triple Advantage victims.

I also have asked your company to discontinue my service May 2008). But without an attorney or the better business bureau it does not seem to happen. Maybe all of us that are complaining should get together. STOP THIS SERVICE NOW!

I noticed the charges on my account in December and called the company at 1-877-481-6825 to cancel the services. I was told that the account was cancelled, I would no longer be billed and was even given a "confirmation" number. Just recently I noticed the charges again and have discovered that they have been billing me for the last six months. I called the same number to ask for my money back and to confirm that my membership was cancelled. I was told that their records state that I chose to keep the account open and that is why I am continuing to be charged. I told them I have a confirmation number for the cancellation and she told me they don't give those numbers, just the reference number for the employee who I spoke with. I told her I had heard about this scam of charging people without their authorization and that I want my money back. She told me to take up my concerns with another department:

I asked her for a contact number because I don't want to send my personal information through a fax number. She told me she didn't have a number to contact them. When I asked her how I could contact them to see if they received the fax, she told me that they would call me within 48-72 hours. This just seems like a constant run around in the hopes that I will give up the fight. I've already contacted my bank and explained the dispute in an effort to recover my money.

Okay, genuises! News flash...you saw those cute commercials for a free credit report...ringing any bells?...freecreditreport.com?...so did any of you who whine about getting signed up for a service you "never received nor wanted" wonder why they asked you for a card # when you signed up for your "free" credit report? I suppose none of you caught the little disclaimer at the end of every commercial that says "Offer applies with enrollment in Triple Advantage", did you? Wake up, people; nothing is free these days, so why do you think they paid hardcore dollars to run those commericals on national TV? I work in credit card "fraud" and am very sick of having to file "fraud" cases for people like you who can't be bothered to pay attention to the fine print when they throw their card numbers out.

Go to the link below for a full set of instructions on how to get your money back. I would strongly recommend that everyone also contact the BBB and FTC as these guys are stealing so much money they will keep going until they are forced to stop. Contact info for them is also at the link.

I have also had this amount charged to my credit card for almost 2 years now! I thought it was for identity theft protection, but I was just told that I am ALSO being billed 65 dollars every so often for that!! So where the heck do they get off charging me this too? I THINK THAT SOME ONE SHOULD START A CIVIL SUIT, THERE ARE ENOUGH PEOPLE FOR ONE. Like someone stated earlier "if you plaster the word "free" all over something people actually tend to think it's truly free." "Hard to believe this is legal even though so many people have been deceived."

I had a problem with this company also, I wasnt actually the person who signed up for this crap someone who had access to my personal information and credit card # did it and she informed me of it imediately and I called customer service and the woman stated that she wold take care of it and I would not be charged I later discovered that they charged me 24.95, so i called back and that woman refused to give me the name of the last person, refused to tell me which company she worked for and refused to remove my credit card form the system, Bull%@&#. She did give me a fax # to send a request to and i did that so we'll see!
