I've received a text message stating that I have won a prize of 91000 GBP in an ongoing Nokia promotion. There is a telephone no as well as an e-mail address. The e-mail address is nokia-uk2@uk2.net and the tel no is +447045743467.

Please verify if this is a scam or hoax.

It is a scam definitely. Since I have recieved a simillar text message just now on my phone. It is from Nokia Uk . In the message there is congradulations on winning 182,000 BP in the ongoing nokia mobile promo. In the end I am advised to contact on the phone No. +44-704-571-4787 or email :nokia-info@uk2.net. As I became suspicious about the authenticity of this message, Ithout to check it on the internet, and as a result I found other simillar incidents confronted by other people. So I conclude that it is a 100% scam and fraud. And people should be warned about it.

Hey I too got the identical sms message twice on 07FEB08 saying I had won GBP 300,000/- giving the same contact number and email as above. So was checking online to see if it was a hoax or not and found this site... Thanks for the warning.
