We had a 3-season room built in our new home. When the room was installed 2 of the windows were damaged and missing 1 of the pains, we didn't notice it but Carolina Home Exterior pointed it out and made arrangements to have the windows replaced. The replacements came in and they sent Andrew out to install the replacements, he was very professional, and did a great job installing the windows. He also helped us out with another window that was not part of his install. Working with Carolina Home Exterior and Andrew has been a pleasure.

A great team of installers completely renovated our screened-in porch to an E-Z Breeze system. Team Leader, Curtis... along with his team members; Blake, Kenneth, Shawn, Boja and Mourch did a wonderful job with this project. Polite, courteous, professional and highly skilled one and all. Thanks for building us a great looking and now functional sunroom/porch. We hope to use it year-round. Excellent work, gentlemen. Thank you. We also want to extend our thanks to the sales, service and support team as well for their courteous and thoughtful assistance.

Four years ago they screened our porch for a total cost of $1,800. This one day job took four days and on the fourth day an outside contractor was brought in to complete the job. Just recently I walked into their office to ask for a quote to take out one of the two screen doors and replace it with screening only. A lady at the front desk relayed that they do not do jobs for under $3,000 and if I wanted a change (to the original $1,800. total job it would cost 3k. This lady was rude and I recommend anyone who is looking for a screen porch to look elsewhere.

Andrew came out the next day after I contacted Janet in the Front Office to repair 2 vinyl windows where the vinyl had partially come out of the frame, which I probably did while cleaning them. He made it look easy because he knows how to do this stuff! Also, I had an issue with windows sticking in the tracks. He made that look easy too. Solution: Spray a high-quality Vinyl Window Lubricant called "Smooth Glide" into tracks. No more sticking or jamming.

We just completed a carolina room addition to our house. Sefi and Armon were a pleasure to work with! They were always very cheerful, often times singing while they worked. The whole team took their time listening to my requests and making sure that everything was done to the best of their ability. The site was left clean when the project was completed. I am very thankful to have found such a great company to work with! Jimmy was our project manager and he made sure everything was taken care of. I highly recommend using Carolina Home Exteriors if you are looking to expand your home!

My Lanai was just completed last week, and I couldn't be more pleased. Although the start date kept getting moved forward due to waiting on arrival of the materials and rescheduling, it was worth the wait. I would like to acknowledge: Marc for designing my project Janet who addressed my concerns and kept the project moving along The concrete crew for creating a massive concrete pad in very short time in a professional and efficient manner John and Matt whose expertise created an impressive metal framed and screened structure in record time The finished project was beyond my expectations!

My husband and I attended the fall 2021 Home Show to find a company to replace our screen room. After interviewing 3 different companies we chose Carolina Home Exteriors. We didn't expect our new screen room to be installed until after the first of the new year. Surprisingly we had a completed new air and wind tight screen room way before Christmas. We also had sliding vinyl windows installed so we could enjoy nice days with fresh air. We are so pleased with the workmanship and quality of work that Carolina Home Exteriors did. We can't say enough good things about Carolina Home Exteriors.

I would like to give a five star rating but an error on the CAD drawing resulted in the extended gable on the screened porch not aligning with the existing gable. The men who worked through a terrible heat wave are much appreciated, especially Darren who stayed with it from the start. Jeff and Seth did a great job installing the roof and lining up the siding along the lower part of the room. Kevin gave us the door we wanted but thought wouldn't fit and came here often to oversee the work. Jeff paid attention to the smallest details and assured the final touches gave us a porch we really like.

We do love our EZ Breeze Room! Any weather...any time of year! The crew that came out to my home for the past two days were absolutely wonderful! Greg was the captain of the team. He had with him the BEST crew ever! Astbit, Ronnie and Muci. Thank you for all of your hard work and for being so detail oriented and meticulous...something that I would expect from a business. We owned our own plumbing company for many years and that's how we treated our customers! They were a mature group unlike kids that do not care! I hope your boss reads this because it is the truth and he needs to know this! Thank you very much guys!

Had Marc come out and go over the options with me for hurricane shutters. They had a variety of products and he discussed the benefits of each and worked up pricing for me so I could make a well informed decision. Had Mike E. out to install three Roll Down Remote Hurricane Shutters over my French entry doors. Fast and thorough installation. Reviewed the operations with me and made sure i was happy with the work done. Was very understanding of my CoVid concerns and worked with me to address my needs. Love the quality of the product and the installation. Very pleased and feel safe and secure and ready for hurricane season. Will be having them install accordian style hurricanes shutters over my 3 large picture windows shortly.

The crew of John, Kenneth, & Tony are really great. They're friendly, courteous and professional. John and Kenneth are top notch and know how to get the job complete while maintaining customer relations. . Tony, I observed is very meticulous, not slow but pays close attention to detail. In particular I liked how they kept me aware of when they were showing up as well as why certain portions of the job could not be completed. Although disappointing, it was comforting to be kept and made aware of any problem. In this case the pandemic played havoc on receipt of materials to complete the job. HOWEVER. The work around which allowed us to still utilize the room and not have it look anything like under construction was FANTASTIC. Your company really stepped up and it was much appreciated. Also regards to Bujar, Mucci & Denny who also participated in the final day to get the project completed, and cleaned up.. Thanks for a very good experience in such a confusing time.

With the exception of the performances of the onsite installers and the new project manager, Jimmy, who came onboard about a month before our project was completely finished, our experience with and recommendation of Carolina Home Exteriors goes way downhill after that. We signed a contract with CHE on July 19 to provide a glass enclosure for our then screen porch. The project was completed on August 22, 2022 - one year and one month later. Issues encountered in between these dates included: • miscommunications on when the project would start (it actually started 2 months later than anticipated); • missing windows and screens with the initial install; • 7 months of us and our neighbors viewing of the manufacturer's stickers left on the windows because we were advised not to remove them until completion - only to find out later CHE failed to send window cleaners after the initial install); and • a wrong-sized window being delivered after waiting on it for 4 months. We do like the finished product. However, the majority of our experience with CHE boils down to lack of communication from the main office to keep us informed and a job that "fell through the cracks".

I would like to start by saying that Joe, Kenneth and Daniel were great to work with and did an excellent job on my screen room. They deserve 5 stars for their work. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with the rest of the company. I signed a contract with them in June and was given a 4 month estimate by the sales rep for completion. When I received the design plan for my HOA; I noticed that there were no panels or siding at the peak of the gable roof where the spot light should be. The sales rep said he was sorry he missed that and said it would be an additional $700 so I signed a change order. I was later contacted by the office staff and said construction would start mid Sept. They updated the date and later made it mid Oct, because they informed me that they had another customer with the same name (They should track the project by address instead of name). The exact same thing happened again and the date changed to the end of Oct, then again to the beginning of Nov. They actually started the second week of November. One of their subs was a no show twice and they finally finished the second week of Dec. The project turned out fine thanks to the main crew, but the rest was a headache.

Mike E., sub installer was awesome. Great communicator. The sub for the concrete was great as well, with a professional crew. However, I had some issues with Carolina Exteriors. It is important to make sure they provide line item pricing in the contract. In my case, the contracted concrete was supposed to be 12" deep, but the concrete company decided to use filler and only made it 4" deep, which made sense but should have had a cost difference. Unfortunately, I was never given line item pricing, so it's possible that everything could have been made up. Allen, who works for Carolina Exteriors, claims that the pad is 7" deep and they were charged more than what they charged me for the concrete. However, since he and no one else from the company saw the pad being poured, I'm not sure why he thinks he knows. The communication from the office was also horrible. There was a point where a truck showed up to deliver supplies, but it was only half the size of my driveway. I had spoken to two different people at the office that morning who said that nothing was happening on my project that day. I had to insist that the project manager come by twice. The first time was because they had lost the permit and had to get another one. The second time was because he had never seen the area and I had concerns, which had already been discussed with Allen. It turns out that I was correct and they had not put a beam in the right place for a swing. In the end, the final project looks beautiful, but I would not choose to use Carolina Exteriors again.
