I ain't happy with the info I got from Jasmine at corporate customer service on 1/4 'round 11:35am. I shouldn't have to pay for a diagnostic test 'cause my check engine light came on after Carlton Motors fixed my car. I told the dealership 'bout my worries, but they don't seem to care. I never had this problem 'til they messed with my car. I paid a bunch of money for the repair, and now it feels like they just tryna squeeze more cash outta me. I reckon they messed up or didn't fix the issue right, 'cause that's why the check engine light's on. Why should I have to pay for a diagnostic test? It ain't right, 'cause I believe the dealership messed up and caused the light to come on. Jasmine from corporate customer service and the Carlton dealership don't give a darn 'bout my concerns. I seen other folks online complain 'bout their shady service too. This ain't no one-time thing.

My wife went to Carlton to order a G wagon. Me and her bought a car there over 2 years ago and she wanted to trade it in. She had to order the car she wanted so her and the salesperson Chad emailed back and forth and then she was told to come in and sign the paperwork and put down a $2000 deposit. So she goes in and he prints off a form with all the order codes on it she signs it and gives him the deposit. So we fast-forward... Chad calls her and tells her that her car is here and instructs her to come in and get the vehicle and do the paperwork. On the trade they offered her half of what was paid for it 2 years before and no it doesn't have high miles or a mileage deduct. Then they tell her not to trade it to take it to another dealer they will give more for it... if a dealer doesn't want to pay fair money they kick the trade. They sold this car to us 2 years prior and Mike the used car manager told us how German cars hold their value... but anyway she's told take it to another dealer they pay more for a Mercedes than the Mercedes dealer that sold it. Wow... so the car she ordered and emailed him had black interior, a rear entertainment system, ambient lighting, 2 year 20,000 mile service, all weather floor mats and an all weather cargo mat. The car they took her to had none of the above that was in the email sent from her to him and sent back to her to verify it. Even had the wrong interior color. So they try to sell her on it anyways knowing that it's not what she ordered. And it was a take it or leave it situation that was presented to her. If you go here please take someone with you if you are easily strong-armed. So they talk her into taking something she didn't want by selling her on the fact that what she wanted wasn't important and that she signed an order form. They made no offer to make anything right just a remark of you signed it. She signed codes just codes she trusted that what was in the email back and forth would be what the salesperson was calling her in to sign but obviously it wasn't. When asked about the emails she is told that he doesn't have them and that his email has changed but she has them showing where they came from. They run her credit and before that she had told him her beacon score was in the high 600's low 700's their finance manager looked at it and determined without submitting it anywhere that her credit file was too thin. So he goes back and says she needs a cosigner. So at that point she says I can talk to *** (Me) and he asks for my info she said she wasn't sure of it but they had my info from 2 years and 2 months prior so somehow my credit gets submitted (Shotgunned) to 5 different banks *** Bank, ***, *** Bank, *** and one other one. So my score goes from 712 to 676 and the mortgage I'm working on for myself the rate on my approval would've been 2.52 but is now because of this negligent finance manager a 3.12. They are by no means supposed to run my credit without contacting me first and they cannot show anywhere they contacted me, In fact they are still yet to contact me I left a message with the receptionist for Heather the owner, the receptionist said she would run it by the General Manager, she told me the salesperson had left for the day when I called... but not surprising no one has reached out. This place just messed up my mortgage and everything and now won't call back. And don't seem to care and we are previous customers who do service there if they treat us this way I can only imagine how they treat other people who haven't purchased here. I was returning a loaner one day and parked it at the front this heavy set gentleman in a rather nasty tone says that doesn't go there. Well excuse me it's a parking spot.
