I bought a pair of Caribbean Sun sunglasses about 5 months ago. They were $68 and offered glass lenses which in other brands have proven much less prone to scratches than plastic lenses.
I dropped them once about 2 months later and got a big scratch in the right lens. Putting up with it awhile, I walked into a restaurant and the lens literally fell out of my glasses and hit the floor. It shattered one corner and created spider cracks throughout the lens.
After visiting Walmart's optical center where I was told to request a replacement lens from Caribbean Sun's website, I attempted to do so. The "Contact Us" link goes nowhere. There is no address or phone number for this company.
Anybody who buys these sunglasses and has a problem is out of luck, and out the price of the glasses.
Frankly, Walmart sucks for offering this product and not offering any support!
I'm not sure these guys still respond. On their site I left a negative review because, like some others, my otherwise awesome sunglasses just lost a lens, hit the ground and cracked. I got Walmart to replace them (after a fight) but then the same thing happened to the new pair. I left a negative review on their site but mysteriously it never posted. It's crazy that they just fall apart. I paid 90 bucks for these. That's not cheap for sunglasses.
ps- trying to upload a photo but the error says it need to be a jpg... which it is. Sigh. Nothing works in this new world.
I recently had one of the best customer service experiences in a long time with Caribbean Sun Sunglasses. The representatives name is Deborah H. I think. She was great. She gave me the scoop on the company and answered all my questions. I emailed them first and then I had additional questions so I called. I left a voice message and she returned my call a few hours later. That's when I got the information I was needing and more! They couldn't help me because I needed to pay for the RX lenses and frames using my Medicare plan but the time spent with her was well it regardless.
If I could rate her and Caribbean Sun it would be 5 out of 5 stars!

Calling the toll-free customer support line is a joke. I paid $79 for a pair of these sunglasses and they literally fell apart. They broke in half as I was leaving church; one of the employees of WalMart told me that it happens a lot but, because I purchased them 4 mons. ago...and don't have the receipt; I will have to toss them. Good lesson! BOLLE is worth the money.

I have been trying for a while now to get a replacement lens for my Caribbean Sun Turks model. I have attempted to call the company's repair dept. on 5 different occasions. Each time although the number was still in service a recorder picked up the call. If they are not out of business they should be, as their customer service is just about as bad as it gets. To date I have never received a call back from any of my attempts to reach them. I was considering just buying a new pair as I like the lenses, and decided against it as it would only be rewarding bad or non existant customer service. Be warned if you decide to buy a pair of Caribbean Sun Glasses from whatever source and have a problem I believe you will be on your own!

I bought a pair of Caribbean Sun sunglasses and loved them. While riding my bike a car passed and kicked up a pebble that cracked my lens. The lens probably saved my eye. It did not shatter into pieces but cracked. Went to the Caribbean Sun website and downloaded the repair form. It states that a return authorization number must accompany all repairs. When you call the number that they provide you get a recorded message that says, leave your name and number and reason for calling and they will get back to you. Called four times and have not had a reply. Went to Walmart and was told that they had no connection with Caribbean Sun other than to purchase their retail good from them. Hoping the comment from 12th of Jan, 2011 will get me to customer svcs. Will keep you posted. 2/24/2014
