I signed a contract with Cabinetpak Kitchens on 2/12/22
I signed a contract with Cabinetpak Kitchens on 2/12/22. I had difficulty getting the measurer here due to illness of the owner and then illness of the "measurer." He finally came and spent over 2 hours measuring and told me he thought my products would be in by 12/25/22 (he did the measurement on 9/12/22). I asked why so long, as I was told about 2 weeks for products to arrive when I signed the contract. He stated that was a long time ago and things changed now and that it was taking much longer. I started calling approximately the first week of January 2023. I left several messages with the owner, who I believe is the owner, as well as on the store voicemail. I never received calls back. I called the owner one last time today before I contacted the ComplaintsBoard.com, and he actually answered and told me he's claiming bankruptcy. I was required to put down 50% so they could order all supplies. I gave them a check for $6,987.50 on 2/12/22 when I signed the contract. He said his customers were to get paid back first after his assets were sold. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. NOTE: I'm unable to upload my contract, as it would not scan. I tried making a copy because the paper was pink, but the writing on it was too light to see.
