Shoppers Drug Mart - 3rd party gift cards

I received a Home Depot gift card for Christmas and when I went to use it at HD the card does not exist! so I went back to the shoppers where it was purchased — card and receipt in hand looking for an exchange and they said that they can't help me I am to call a 1800 #. That was 2 hours ago and am still on hold.

Note to Shoppers Stores — if you can not support returns/exchanges on products then don't carry them!

BTW - when you go to the website to launch communicate this there is no Contact Us reason code.

Desired outcome: I just want an active HD card ... and now given my time and energy something for my troubles.

I have the same problem since May 20th 2021 ! I spent 300$ on SAQ gift cards and they were fraudulous cards. I spent hours on the phone and writing e-mails. Very bad customer service.

ijust had 500 dallers taken from a prepaid visa joker card before i got to use it kevin boivin but im not done fighting and will be talking to a lawyer it looks like it happens quite often here
