The company sent a work order for $100.00 to look at the women's toilet running. We arrived at the location and diagnosed a faulty flapper and fill valve. Gave the company an estimate to repair. Now we are being told that we are not going to be paid $96.50 (our rate) for the diagnosed and that they had someone else fix the problem. The service techic was paid to do this service call. They do not work for free, I don't know why Veterans Worldwide Maintenance thinks they should get this diagnoses for free.

You were lucky to only have been stiffed for $100. John Della Marco stiffs his workers for thousands of dollars. Imagine working your team and yourself in the hot weather and not being paid for the job. This guy needs to be punished for his mishaps. If you work for Veterans, you won't get paid. Whether you are an employee, or a subcontractor (because they sub all of their work anyhow), you are setting yourself up for failture.
