I was contacted by a lady Noelle representing Sweepstakes and saverscity and holidays savers on 14th July, 2017 to get up to 50% discounts on purchases in several major stores including travelling, groceries and gas stations plus a welcome package of $50 voucher. I was to get the welcome mail and the the test period starts counting after I get the mail. I was initially charged for signup and I never got the mail till I got charged $17.83 after 14 days on 30th July, 2017 without even benefiting a dime. I contacted the customer service on 31st July, 2017 and got the mail eventually, got offered additional $50 as compensation and I kept my cool.
When I logged in to the site, I discovered the "major stores" are not anything near "major" and then it's virtually impossible to get enough discounts to cover the monthly charges and I was going to compensate myself with the vouchers. I then realized you can get the vouchers as $10 every week starting from 3rd week which means you have to continue with them and get charged $17.83 or $36 if you choose both to get $10 as refund, is this not ridiculous?
I have to forfeit the charges incurred so far and requested everything cancelled, more over keeping my cc details is mostly annoying.
My advice is no one should venture into this, don't pick their calls and don't be tempted to sign up, it's all a scam. What you lose is much more than the preached benefits, it's not worth it.
Some of the customer service are nice and some are not. Chris was nice, Michael is not. He knows what his company is into and is supporting them to rip off unsuspecting people like me. Please stay off anything saverscity and holidaysavers and sweepstakes and their phone numbers [protected], [protected]

Hello,
I apologize for the issues you experienced with your SaversCity.ca membership. We do understand that the membership may not benefit everyone which is why we offer the trial period in order for the customer to review the benefits and see if the membership is something that will work for them. I see that you did not receive your welcome package in time to get your username/password access to the programs. We do ship out our welcome letters within 48 hours of your membership being activated, however there can be delays due to Canada Post. We have the agents on the phone provide the customer support number for cases like this so that our customers can call in and receive their access as soon as possible. In addition, we generally try to get our customers to provide their email address so we can send out a welcome email instead which arrives much faster.
If you would like to contact me directly to review the issues you experienced please contact me at [protected]
