Nationstar Mortgage - Leaving Child Homeless

Posted: 2014-07-30 by    perrispanach
Complaint Rating: 0 % with 0 votes
Husband abandoned wife and child. Original mortgage held by B of A, who then sold it to Nationstar.
Husband refuses to refinane or modify loan. Husbands name is the only name on loan. We live in California and are in a divorce. Nationstar refuses to deal with me and seems to be more than eager to make our 10 year old son homeless, I have made an offer and they would rather foreclose and leave us without a home rather than make a deal. They will get nothing from the exhusband, you would think they would rather have a body in the home and collecting a payment; but "no" they want...

Complaint Rating: 0 % with 0 votes
I completed a Loan Modification in April 2014. After completed I was informed and signed paperwork that my payment with interest, principle, taxes and escrow would be 942.00 per month.

The following month it was increased by 44.10 per month for home insurance, which I could understand. Then in July it was again showing now fees of 68.00 owed for property inspections and 359. I emailed about the 359 and was told this was home association dues, however, I pay them directly. After multiple emails to the research department I was told they made a mistake and it was now for home...

Bank of America transferred our mortgage to Nation Star Mortgage and our loan payment has been consistent and on time. However, due to unforeseen circumstances there was a delay of April payment and we called today May 1 and was told that we would not be reported to credit bureau.Payment was made and found out later that we have been reported to Credit Bureau to frustrate us since we never asked them to refinance our mortgage. This institution has turned to racism due to identity. We requested for a courtesy waive they rejected. This is unfair and prejudice. We never missed any payment since the transfer.PLEASE...

Nationstar Mortgage - Huge Increase in Escrow

Posted: 2014-03-17 by    dmmurphy
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 1 votes
My mortgage was sold from Bank of America to Nationstar mortgage. I no longer get paper statements (but I did not elect to have them stop). I never received any escrow summary/annual review, but today got an email and notice in the mail that my payment was in suspense (not being applied to my loan) because my escrow had been increased. I had no idea. The payment will not be applied to my account until they get the additional funds. They were kind enough to tell me that late fees will be assessed today - how convenient since I only found out today. Additionally, if I want to pay online to avoid the...

Nationstar Mortgage - NOT HONORING BANK OF AMERICAK LOAN MOD

Posted: 2014-03-07 by    HELP WITH PERMANENET LOAN MODIFICATION
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 2 votes
My previous servicer, Bank of America, was finalizing a permanent loan modification for me when all of the sudden it was sold to Nation star Mortgage. I have been getting the run around since early December from Nation star saying they will honor the mod and to just keep making my payments. I call them everyday and they just keep saying the same thing. Meanwhile, they have not even deducted all the payments I have been making them. When I ask for the balance it is always the same with another month's payment added to it. I don't know what to do at this point. Every time I call them, a...

I have also been a victim of Nationstar Mortgage, but I have taken this issue a step further. I have researched how to file a formal complaint against this company. If you are serious about taking legal action against this company for violation of your legal rights, then please follow these simple instructions. The more people that file a formal complaint, the more these federal agencies will take notice to correct this problem.

The first agency to contact is the "Consumer Financial Protection Bureau" at either (855) 411-2372 or by going on line to www.consumerfinance.gov.....

Nationstar Mortgage - Lousy customer service and abilty to answer questions

Complaint Rating: 100 % with 1 votes
Trying to modify my home loan, since June 2013, they repeatedly ask for the same documents over and over and still have not submitted my documents for underwriting. I have had 10, yes 10 of what they call a "dedicated loan specialist" but when I call to speak with that person I get sent to a general call center and no help. I have sent so much of my personal information to them, that I am concerned as to with who or where all my personal information is with....

Nationstar Mortgage - Texas, Dallas - refusing to review short sale and would rather foreclose

Posted: 2014-01-02 by    James Sherman
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 1 votes
I have been trying to short sale my property ever since I was denied for a loan modification. I feel I am being discriminated against and the lender has refused to review very good offers with my short sale submission. Most recently I turned in a complete package and Nationstar refused to review and delayed for 2 weeks. Finally they opened the short sale package, only to tell me two days later that there is not enough time to approve my short sale, they are refusing to review my package and will proceed with the foreclosure. Janine Richardson with the bankruptcy department told me that my package...

Nationstar Mortgage - negligence, fraud, breach of contract and unlawful debt collection

Complaint Rating: 100 % with 1 votes
BOA sold my mortgage loan to Nationstar and in August 2013 I received a letter stating that they are increasing my monthly payment by $200+ to help pay off my loan within the next 30 years. I called the company and explained to them that legally they cannot do that and that I'm not staying in this house another 30 years due to me being in a lawsuit with the builder (my house has severe structural damage). I was told that if I didn't make the full payment then they would not accept the regular payment of $1050. Nationstar set up an automatic payment from my account and set the date to 16...

Nationstar Mortgage - Mis applied escrow payment

Posted: 2013-12-18 by    NJK63
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 2 votes
I sent in a check for $1083.00 to Nationstar for my escrow payment only. They recieved it Dec. 4, 2013. Before sending in the payment I called for instrction and followed it to a tee. I was to write on the check "For Escrow Only" which I did as well as the payment coupon that I sent in. They did not apply the check to the escrow account (which was negative due to changing insurance companies) They instead applied it to my regular mortgage payment and the remaining balance to the principle. On Dec. 13, 2013 they recieved my regular mortgage payment in the correct amount (I pay this online...

Nationstar Mortgage - Payoff not recorded

Posted: 2013-12-11 by    Kim Castle
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 2 votes
I had a mortgage with Nationstar Mortgage for a house. In October 2013 I sold this house, and the title company sent a money wire to the payoff account for Nation Star at Wells Fargo Bank. In mid-November 2013 I received a phone call from a Nationstar representative who stated my November 1 payment was late. I informed her I sold the house and the payoff had been sent. After several more calls, I contacted the title company to ask for verification of the payoff and a copy of the money wire document that I could send to Nation Star. Both were provided; I faxed the money wire information to Nation...

Nationstar Mortgage - website glitch cost me my credit rating

Posted: 2013-12-02 by    Kim Oakley
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 2 votes
After a lifetime of working diligently to earn and keep an excellent credit rating, the website glitch at Nationstar Mortgage has taken away a lifetime of good credit. I signed up for monthly deductions and verified that within 100 percent certainty. The first notification I got from them was yesterday, that my loan was two months past due. I immediately paid in full plus in advance through February. I am now in the process of a 90 to 120 day review period to see if my credit can be restored. The customer service representative was nice, and did tell me that there was a previous glitch in setting...

Nationstar Mortgage - Very very poor customer service!!

Horrible customer service! I needed to talk to someone about my mortgage but they kept passing me from one person to another. Every week I would call them and I get transferred to some random department and getting different point of contacts. They would then tell you that someone will call you in 3-5 business days. Balony!!! that does not happen. Even those who answer the calls...can we say those who are merely manning the customer service desk picking up the phones are SOOOOOO rude!!! They eat or chew while they're talking to you on the phone. They breath hard, sigh...not even trying to mask...

Nationstar Mortgage - Arkansas, Lewisville - Modification Loan - Missing Doc Runaround

Posted: 2013-11-09 by    andreakristy
Complaint Rating: 0 % with 0 votes
NationStar has been giving us a runaround since June 2013 as we are well qualified for the HAMP and HAMP programs offered to people like me and my family who are $50k upside down on loan, and recently hit by adjustable rate of 6.2% which is a result of a bad modification loan we got back in 2009 from NationStar (2% for 3 years/ARM, 40 year loan on $469, 000 ). At this point, they have all our papework, and know good and well we are able to pay our mortgage at 2% because we have done so for past 3 years never missing a beat.. After the interest rate adjustment to 6.2% our mortgage went up over $1,...

Nationstar Mortgage - non applied payment missing funds

Posted: 2013-11-05 by    DMTNationstar
Complaint Rating: 100 % with 2 votes
As a background, I fell behind on my mortgage last year and in January worked out a payment plan with Nationstar wherein a portion of my monthly payment was put into an unapplied funds account until it equaled a full month payment which was then applied to my account. In that regard, I priority mailed a certified check to Nationstar Mortgage on 9/21/2013 which pursuant to the tracking number was received by Nationstar on 9/23/2013 but, to date, has not been applied to my account. I sent an additional certified payment to my loan specialist at Nationstar on 10/10/2013 which should have been applied...

Nationstar Mortgage - Texas - Acts more like a debt collector than a mortgage comapny

They recently acquired my mortgage from BOA and I have problems with them ever since. I have requested that they stop calling me every weekend after the first for payment when there is a 15 day grace period on the loan before it is past due. They have lied to me when questioned about the loan payment date and grace period. I have been nice to them up to this point, after telling them them I was recording a phone call it was apparent that they acquired the loans form BOA to foreclose on the property ASAP. When I asked about when my loan was pasted due they almost immediately said that they did not...
