We purchased a twin bed set, mattress and spring box and mattress cover for our 4 years old boy. The salesman at this store suggested we purchased the cover mattress in order to keep it protected from stains. When they called us to indicate our order was ready for pick up, they forgot to mention the cover was not there. We picked up our order today Friday Sept 19 from their warehouse and then went to the store to get the cover. The cashier said they didn't have any and we would have to wait for it. This is the biggest mistake I have doen in buying the furniture from Ashley.Their furniture quality is poor, whatever I received had defect and they are not even exchanging it .Customer care never returns the calls and you have to hold for 1 hr atleast to talk to them. Poor service by delivery persons.I wasted my money and still waiting for them to replace the furniture.NEVER NEVER BUY ABYTHING FROM ASHLEY'S....

I wish I could use foul language but I guess it would be censored. 1) The made us drive from one town to the next and back when we tried to pick up our night stand 2) They didn't deliver the right items to our house 3) A part of this piece of furniture was missing when I unpacked it. I was already so fed up with them that I decided to buy it myself from a different store. 4) Their online payment system is unusable. I recorded my login and password but then I tried to submit the next payment they blocked the account. The password recovery system is very inconvenient....

Ashley Furniture uses a contract system of delivery agents that provide exceptionally poor communication and customer service. Additionally, calling Ashley customer service results in a "sorry", but no other attempt to offer a solution or provide a good customer service experience. Issue: For the second time in two years I have ordered a furniture set from Ashley only to have the delivery delayed weeks with Ashley blaming their contract delivery service providers. Ashley Furniture is beautiful on the show room floor. However, my sister and I bought the same couch the same day. Within 3 months the fabric began to slit and peel. Ashley does not follow through with their warranty specifications. I am embarrassed of my furniture and the only option is to burn it and buy better. We purchased top of the line leather furniture and the seating started to sag after 2 days.
I tried to rerun the furniture because of poor quality and I was told I could only exchange it, I replied that I had the best quality furniture they made so why would I exchange it for a lesser quality product and have store credit to buy more garbage?

This company MUST be lying when they say they "want to be the best furniture company!" We purchased our Key Town Dining Room table/leaf and 8 chairs from then in January 2014. When it was delivered, we received the table, cracked table leaf and only 6 chairs. One chair was even used, not to mention we were missing 2 chairs. Purchased Sonoma sofa and matching recliner in August of 2012.

Developed an issue with one recliner in June 2013 where the leather developed two circle (dime size) where leather was gone.

They came out promptly and replaced the section on the recliner.

January 2014 developed a missing leather spot (dime sized) on sofa seat area. Called retailer and received the warranty expired sorry.

My complaint. This is a known issue with this specific item. Furniture should last longer than 1 1/2 years.

There needs to be some accountability...

Like so many other reviews posted, I made a BIG mistake buying from Ashley Furniture. The problem is the warehouse located in Newark, Delaware. When the furniture was delivered (loveseat, recliner and sofa - all power, 2 end tables, coffee table and two lamps), one of the delivery guys was very rude. He walked in like he owned the place and not even a greeting. They damaged the loveseat, couch and recliner by scratching them going up the stairs and into the door. It appears Ashley "paints" their leather furniture. Our living room sectional/chase started to peel and has continued to peel in areas that we don't even use. After reading the reviews and the extended warranty, the repairs would not be covered. We confirmed w/ a furniture repair company and painted leather can not be repaired. It stinks that we spent close $2, 000.00 for our furniture. Now part of it is going to the curb and we have to use old furniture that is over 8 yrs old - the leather is perfect just not the color (dark green).

We purchased a reclining couch and loveseat from Ashley Furniture (Route 42, Turnersville, NJ) in March 2012. Around the beginning of July 2013, one of the cables via the reclining mechanism in the couch snapped. It was no longer possible to recline that side of the couch.

My mother bought a couch by Ashley furniture a few years ago and never sat on it so three years ago we sat and after a few months the frame was no good. it sinks. I truely believe when Costco sells products their made cheaper but carry the name. I did check warrenty even if its passed the couch should not have done that.
