bought this scope in February 2023. Please Please listen this very important complaint. The battery only lasts 2 weeks. Called technical support and they told me that the scope continues to look for the remote. There is NO was to turn this feature off. It takes me a couple hours trying to get the battery screw in cap back on. The threads are watch maker small and the wings around the cap make it almost impossible to get the cap on. Trying to get this done in your stand will be impossible. There suggestion is to take the batteries out when not in use. So you see the problem. Sent it back to service after the cap handle broke trying to get it screwed back in. They say 5 to 6 weeks turn around, so i guess hunting season will be over when i get it back. Very poor design in that you can not turn the seeking of the remote off and location of the battery cap. Do not buy this scope until they fix these very major defects.

The Burris Optics Fullfield IV 2.5-10X42 is a solid piece of equipment. Right from the start, I noticed that it had a decent weight to it, making it suitable for other purposes like holding down papers. However, I did encounter a minor issue with the turrets. While they were able to move smoothly, the crosshairs themselves seemed to be stuck in place. I reached out for some advice and was recommended to purchase the Burris scope rings, thinking that would solve the problem. Unfortunately, even with the new rings, the issue persisted. It turns out that the problem was actually with my rifle, not the scope itself. Frustrated, I decided to part ways with the paperweight and tossed it into the dumpster.
