I had an autopac claim and took my car there. They were supposed to repair and rerun my vehicle to me within a week, now it's past 2 weeks and no one called me to tell me what the status is of my vehicle. I asked the Manager/Owner A.J. for a courtesy vehicle. They insisted on giving me an Enterprise vehicle because I have auto loss of use insurance. I am stuck with a courtesy car with a huge engine which happens to be a v-4 but sucks gas back worst then my V-6. Upon calling Boyd I find out the parts are defective. Previously I was told repairs would be ready by Monday and I would receive a call from them telling me the status. I was told it was waiting for my door handle to be installed. Today is Tuesday and now they tell me my glass was defective. I asked the manager for clarification and I keep getting excuses and lies. I do not know what the problem is and am willing to go to the BBB in regards to the unacceptable behaviour. This repair at any shop would be done within a week. I am getting sick of the stories and have demanded my vehicle be returned to me. I am now told they cannot return my vehicle as they are processing my claim already. I will be contacting Autopac or MPI to find out my out my options. Two weeks plus a day and no one bothered to call me about my car. This is the worst place to take your car in Winnipeg Manitoba. I now have used up my auto loss of use and am paying for a rental car out of my own pocket. This is unacceptable in any business to not call the customer to relay the status of their item.
