As I was trying to exchange some ETH, I was charged an incoming fee of two transactions. That was okay by me, but when I tried to make a transaction, I was in for a shock. The website asked for an outrageous outgoing fee of 0.006 double ETH. Being not very literate in the world of cryptocurrencies, I paid the fee blindly. And boy was I wrong! Apparently, it was some sort of scam as I never received my exchanged ETH, and my $360 was nowhere to be found.

But that's not the worst part. The people running this site are clearly only interested in scamming people out of their money. I've seen many reports of individuals being scammed by this website, and sadly I was one of them.

Saw some pictures on bluexchanger.com and thought that was the way to go for me. Wanted to exchange my BTC and get some cash on the side. Decided to send over my BTC and waited patiently for my payment. But then they asked for more money! I was caught in this endless loop where they kept on asking for more and more money. They took all my hard earned money and gave me nothing in return!

Finally, I was able to talk to someone named Jennifer on their online chat and I highly suspect that this was the man behind it all. I have attached some screenshots of our conversation below to show their terrible customer service. They told me that I had two choices, but both of them were bad for me.

I knew something was wrong when my BTC was sent and confirmed in another wallet on the blockchain, but I still went ahead with this exchange. Now, I have no one to blame but myself for falling for this scam. Please be careful when dealing with bluexchanger.com.

I had quite a bad experience when using BluExchanger (bluexchanger.com). I was hoping to exchange my BTC for some ETH, and queued up two transactions to be made. However, it seems that as soon as they saw my BTC in my wallet, they decided to take it straight out, but never provided me with the ETH that they were supposed to exchange it for.

I've contacted their "support" team four times already (I say "support" because I don't feel like they actually offer any support), but they haven't replied to any of my messages. As a last ditch effort, I tried to contact their legal team by sending an e-mail to the address buried deep within their terms and conditions. However, this didn't work either, and I haven't heard anything back after 44 hours of trying with my Gmail account.

I'm really disappointed in how much cryptocurrency they've managed to take from me, and I'm really regretting not doing my due diligence and looking them up beforehand. It's quite worrying that they're based out of Hong Kong, as they've stated that I can get a trial for my money back, but I'm not sure how this is possible when it's so difficult to even contact them in the first place.
