I've donated off and on with BioLife in mhd for years. 2 years ago I went to donate and they said my protein was low. Other people I've overheard them tell that they have to go eat some protein and come back in a day or two. I'm told I have to have a blood draw and can't donate till it comes back. So I didn't even bother with them for 2 years. It's now 2 years later and I'm told I have to go thru this draw wait 2 weeks then go thru a physical. What happened to eat more protein and hydrate and come back in a day or two like others were told. The last time they did this I was going to be payed a good some for the promo plus an extra bonus for whatever reason. 7 times I donated and was fine. The 8th Wich would have been the biggest payout I was told I had to wait to weeks. Seems to me that my Dr would have found something wrong with my levels as he always orders blood and urine when I go in for appts. He said I could sell my bp, etc on eBay . I'm wanting to know why different treatments for the same low protein. Shouldn't policies be uniform for everybody? They pick and choose who and when people donate...not right. There's people in there that are clearly under the influence yet there they are donating?!
Claimed loss: Monetary losses again 2 years later over low protein test 2 years ago Wich I lost about 150 then. Promo now is 100 for each Four draws if done before May 5th or some thing. Hmmm
Desired outcome: Policys that are equally given out such as Joe blow has low protein he has to take the same test. Everyone should have the same equal rights to donate.
