I was Totally satisfied with the work and service I received from Aqua Pluming! The service technician was extremely friendly and very professional! And explained all my options in a easy to understand way! I will continue to use Aqua for anymore work that I might need

I called Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for a leaking water heater and they sent two technicians to diagnose the problem. The water heater needed to be replaced and they were able to install a new one the same day. Edgar explained everything to me and answered all my questions.

As usual, Aqua's team did a suburb job. Edgar called and showed up on time, after coordinating with the home office. He was very kind, pleasant, personable and professional. I've had Aqua technicians work at my house for both large and small jobs. They always do exemplary work. I highly recommend them.

I am very pleased with this company. I appreciate their promptness in providing an estimate then performing the work as scheduled. Both technicians were very professional and knowledgeable in their craft. Should I have a plumbing issue in the future, I will certainly contact Aqua Plumbing Services, Inc.

Our technician was great and very knowledgeable. But after finding the cost to repair something simple that took a total of 10 minutes to replace over priced I called 2 other places to get a quote and it seems that I paid more than double for this repair. Unfortunately I will never use this company again. AQUAS price was very unreasonable.

On 4/19 a representative from Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Services installed a kitchen garbage disposal and a kitchen faucet made by a reputable brand. He presented me with an invoice totaling $1,541.58 which I charged on my credit card. This includes $751.55 for the disposal and $980.56 for the faucet. These two charges were reduced by 11% for a senior discount. I later investigated the pricing by searching the internet and discovered that I was vastly overcharged by Aqua Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Services. The same disposal sold by the reputable brand is priced at $115.61 versus $751.55 charged by Aqua Plumbing. The same faucet on the brand's website costs $169.00 versus $980.56 charged by Aqua Plumbing. This obviously is a fraudulent overcharge. When I discussed the matter with a representative from Aqua Plumbing by phone by the name of [Representative's Name], he, after shouting at me, hung up. I am looking not only for an apology but a credit for the exorbitant charge. I even texted [Representative's Name] the two web companies listing the lower prices.

Great service from my initial, appointment taking phone call through the final handshake. Found Aqua from a Google search when my home A/C stopped working. Lee came to the house from another job clean and with his uniform shirt tucked! There's something you don't see much of today. Yes he was wearing his PPE! Being that I am also in the mechanical service business (automotive service provider/business owner) I understand that it takes a special kind of person to be a top notch professional and Lee IS that guy. Extremely impressed with his mechanical/electrical hands-on diagnosis and repair as well as his personable performance. Lee quickly addressed and resolved 2 issues - 1st electrical and 2nd refrigerant. After 47 years of service for my homes old furnace and A/C, I will most definitely be including Aqua in bidding of replacement estimates. Thank you Lee for putting up with me and my barking dogs on a Sunday. Great experience! Happy with Lee & Aqua! Great professionals seem to always be employed by great businesses. Cheers!

We called Aqua Plumbing who had great reviews on their website and had no bad ComplaintsBoard.com reports. We got a quote of $85 to come out and look. (I was charged $95.00 but called them later and they refunded me.) The guy was friendly and courteous and quoted $200-1,000 to replace the fan motor and also said it would be difficult to get a motor and we may have to wait eight weeks because of the pandemic and availability. He then proceeded to examine the system more, said one of the pipes was leaking and the condenser was old and needed replacing and said the whole unit should be removed and a new one put in at the cost of a whopping $6,000! Our jaws were on the floor! We called a friend who works on this stuff (which I should have done initially) and he said we can replace the fan motor ourselves for about $100.00. My hubby bought the parts at a local store the next day no problem and today we start the process with their guidance saying they'll walk us through the removal and installation process for free. Seems price gouging's the thing these days. Really incensed at them trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

I recently called on Aqua Plumbing, Niles to look at my leaking hot water heater. Their service technician, Ryan, came out that afternoon to assess the situation. As the bottom of the heater had rusted through, there was no repairing the unit. After calling in support from the office, a second technician was soon on site with my new heater. The scope of the work was a bit involved due to the location of the heater, but together the two technicians worked to resolve the access issue and soon a new heater was installed. Only, a new problem developed wherein the 50+ year old utility sink's hot water valve's seal was deteriorated, and the water continued to trickle from the faucet after the technician tried to close the valve. As the hot water valve had not been used in a while (handle missing), the tech contacted the office and secured a reduced price to rebuild the valve and stem to not only remedy the drip but return the faucet to full functionality again. As the daylight was long gone by this time, the tech promised to return the next day to work on the faucet. True to his word, Ryan was again on site the next morning to complete the value rebuild. However, yet another issue had become apparent �" the furnace which the water heater is behind, now had no power. Ryan assessed the situation and deduced that the furnaces' power switch box, located on the side of the water heater, might have been disturbed. He again called the office for additional support from their heating and air division. The HVAC techs, Lee and Anthony came out that day, confirmed this was the case and that the switch was bad (unit is at a minimum 30 years old). They quickly replaced the switch, and presto �" the furnace again had power, at no added cost to me. I feel fortunate to have found the great team at Aqua Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Services, Inc. Their highly knowledgeable service technicians: Ryan, Lee, and Anthony, worked together to solve all the issues they encountered in this aging home. Thanks team Aqua for the exceptional customer service. I appreciate all you did to triage and remedy the multiple issues that occurred in tandem to the water heater replacement.

This company overcharges clients even by their own standards. Their hourly rate is $192 and they did 4.5 hours of work, charging me $900 but then asking for $300 more. No materials were provided by them, just labor. The original job was to repipe everything and the cost was $1800. I had already paid $900 down before the job started. Later, they realized no repiping was needed. The guy did a good job, so this is not a complaint about the quality of work. But all he did was clean off the rust deposit within the shower heads and replace 3 internal rotted parts of the shower heads. Timestamp according to the owner: [Owner's Name]. Visit 1: Dispatch 9:32 am. Arrived 9:49 am. Left 1:00 pm - TOTAL 3 hours and [number] minutes. Visit 2: Dispatch 10:29 am. Arrived 10:38 am. Left 11:30 am - TOTAL 1 hour and 1 minute. GRAND TOTAL 4 hours and 29 minutes - and that is inclusive of travel time. - Multiply that by $192 should be $864. Talked to the owner [Owner's Name], he initially offered $120 off. I said no because it's even more than what I should be paying for. Ask yourself if you will be paying $700+ for some guy to clean your shower heads and change out some of the shower head components while he is at it? Then he said "go ahead and defame us on [platform]" - well...the truth is all the data points mentioned above were all from him! The $192 (ridiculously expensive) hourly rate and all the electronic timestamps. I also had an invoice that stated $300 discount only after I complained to the [position] who asked for $300 AFTER I already paid $900 (Yep I have documentation on that). $300 was put in as "discount" because he called [Owner's Name] on the phone in front of me to ask for "discount". ([Owner's Name] said he is the only owner and the worker [Worker's Name] said he was calling the owner to ask for forgiveness of that $300, so interesting to hear that [Owner's Name] claimed ignorance of that!) He got mad when I confronted him for asking me for an additional $300. I didn't see the point in haggling with a greedy businessman and I just hung up. So here's the lesson I learned: DO NOT WORK WITH THESE CROOKS WHO OVERCHARGE YOU! Now I learned if the original job is scrapped, ask for a quote for the new job. DO NOT just let them go ahead without asking for the cost upfront. That's the only regret on my part.

We are very happy with the service, product and price charged by Aqua Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Services, Inc. I requested quotes from 3 “top rated companies" on a popular review website at 10 pm and said we wanted to replace our water heater now. By noon the next day, only one company left us a message, and that was Aqua Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Services, Inc. I thought it was a special touch that the owner of the company, James Smith, was the one who responded. I checked out their reviews—4.8 out of 5 on Google, and the Illinois Department of Public Health showed they were licensed. Aqua Plumbing has been accredited by the ComplaintsBoard.com since 1997, whose customer reviews averaged 4.99 out of 5. They sounded great. When I called Aqua Plumbing, Mark gave excellent customer service by being friendly, using proper phone etiquette, and asking the right questions to understand our unique situation. Our old water heater was in a very tight spot with immovable obstacles, a chair lift on the stairs, and a new HOA and property manager. Mark assured me that 2 experienced professionals would come out and the office would help with my HOA insurance request and deal with the Village for all permits. I thought it was exemplary of Aqua plumbing to give a complete flat-rate estimate on the spot. I had never heard of this before. That means the price stands, no matter how long it takes to resolve a problem and includes all parts, labor and taxes. Best of all, if we approved, they would install it immediately. I was given a range of time that the plumbers would come, with a promised courtesy call or text before they came so I could deal with our dog. Plumbers, Louie and Mo arrived punctually and were clean-cut, wore floor protectors on their shoes, and were gloved and masked due to Covid-19. My husband and I tried fixing the water heater ourselves with every video on YouTube with no luck. To my utter disbelief, Louie and Mo had it working within 2 minutes of arriving! Wow! They gave us the option of charging a nominal fee for coming out, which was very nice. It was a 14 year old unmaintained unit, so we just wanted to replace it. While they worked getting our old unit out, Aqua Plumbing emailed the form the property manger wanted and complied with the Village, on a Friday afternoon—amazing! Susan at Aqua Plumbing was also a delight to speak with, and we did, several times, to get the HOA approval as well. Owner James Smith, Susan and Mark are the first impression one gets of a company. They were great and this can't be overstated. When Louie and Mo were finished, they cleaned everything up and got the air out of our fixtures, checked that we had hot water at each one of them, and explained the manufacturer's warranty as well as Aqua Plumbing's. They added additional safety features, as this place was built in 1987, and didn't charge extra for that or for the new venting, also mandatory, as it was included in the flat-rate, competitive price! We are very impressed with Aqua Plumbing and Owner James Smith, for ultimately going above and beyond to help us, being a great businessman, and for hiring great employees. Five star service all the way!
