Rec'd letter stating I was a guaranteed award winner of $3, 900, 000 and all I had to do was send them $20.00 for processing fees. I sent them a letter stating the letter would serve as my permission for them to take the $20 out of my prize winnings. Have not rec'd a response other then another letter stating I was prize winner. You should really follow-up on this complaint. Many seniors are receiving this letter. Thank you. Teresa Walsh
On Friday Feb. 5 2016 I received a letter in the mail stating I won $3.9 million and that all I have to do is send 20 dollars. If I won that much just send me a check otherwise don't bother me

I received a letter just like everyone that has committed above. I am going to ask a lawyer at the federal level to start a possible law suit. What needs to be done is some one from New York or some one who knows some one in NY needs to go to the address and see if it is for real. Make sure of all the legal names of ABS to get a law suit started Names and legal addresses to serve summons and legal papers needs to be done. I agree the only way to stop this is to take a stand and make the effort to bring these type of scams to the forefront. Police and State troopers will not do anything, reporting is just about useless as authority's will not act.
I just received the same letter. I thought I would investigate before I took this seriously. Thank you all for the feedback.
Just think, if everybody who received this letter sent $20, how much money would they collect. I was also temped. Who could not
use $3.9 million.
If anyone in law enforcement/postal, fraud(taking money under false information;paid postal permit#3311 Tampa, Fl.and an addressimFresh Meadows, Ny 11366) it should not be hard to find someone to chage with a crime) just a thought from a 77 yr. old mountainman in Colorado the office ofAnderson, Burges&Smith should be visited! This a scam !
I totally agree that we should file a class action lawsuit. I am willing to start a class action lawsuit. I have been receiving these letters for years.

Just received the same letter! Let's put a stop to this.
My name is Nancy Conroy. I received a letter saying that I had won$3, 900, 000.00 from Anderson, Burges & Smith saying that I had to send them $20 to progress. I told them I didn't have the money as my son took care of me, I am 86 years old. They said they would call my bank. I said I would check with my bank. They said to make the fee of $20 to ABS in Fresh Meadows, New York at [protected] Union Pike, Fresh Meadows, NY 11356.
My bank is Webster, here in Glastonbury. I usually take all those scams mails to my bank. I have had 17 letters with scam checks, etc. that I gave to my friend at the bank. I would not give my checking account number, my Social Security, etc.
My best friend that I roommate with has received numerous scam letters such as this one that she also received. All of these groups have boxes at UPS stores. The FBI could easily at least check these out to see what could be done. I have looked at the street views of the addresses of all the scam letters my friend has received, and these addresses show UPS Stores, and this particular group has its box at a UPS store that has the top painted red with UPS STORE written on it. I feel sorry for people that have to lower themselves to this level of duping everyone. At the same time, I would like to knock their heads off.
My mother has received similar correspondence as identified above. Can the state of New York bring charges against these people.
I just got the same letter today i waa scamed in to the scam the first time i lost 20 dollers because i know it not true because this letter is telling me the same thing send 20 dollers and im thinking what the i already sent 20 dollers. Well thats all thay will get there is soming i could do about this i hope because this is not right
I Also received this same notice, that i had won $3, 900, 000.00 and to send the $20.00. I checked the computer to check out this company, thank God I did. Now I do not have to check with BBB. I"m with all that wants to sue. Jesse Newsome
Received the same letter saying I won $1, 500.000.00. This time they're asking for a check for $25.00. I went on line and found out how many people got this type of letter. Yes - the letter has no phone number - only an address.

If I can help in any way - I'd be glad to. Kady
Same story. Contact my senior aged father, promise millions of dollars and a vehicle, just send money. That has ranged from $500-$200.
December 3, 2015, I received this same letter in phoenix AZ stating I too was a winner of $3, 600, 000 and I had to respond by Dec 17, 2015 with a $20.00 processing fee. Then I received another letter stating I won $1, 560, 000 with a processing fee of $20 due by December 18, 2015. YES, this is too good to be true and it looks and smells funky... DONT DO THIS..SCAMMERS WILL NEVER WIN...
I just got my letter today there prize whet down to 1, 560, 000.00 but need to send 20.00 they moved also to PMB 425, 176-25 Union Tpke, Fresh Meadows, NY 11366

I also received a letter and did a google search on the address. It returned a UPS store mailbox service. I called the store and they suggested we file a Fraud complaint by emailing fraud@ups.com
My mother recieve this letter december 19 and her deadline was the 24th . I had to talk my mother out of sending the money, this is a complete scam . She would have lost more than 20 dollars trying to priority mail it by this fake ### unreasonable deadline . My mother is no senior citizen but I would love for her to receive Such A blessing ... I Hope No One Fall Victim To This Non Sense, My Advice Is To Google EVERYTHING . Especially When It's Too Good To Be True
I am collin walker i have received a letter stating that i won 3900000.00 as director of Anderson, Burges & Smith and for me to send them 20.00 in cash check or money order letter also has PMB 363 26 railroad ave. I used the cash prize notifation to light the Fireplace and it smoked it's a scam.
I just received a letter, and was tempted to send the 20 bucks. I'm glad I Google the company, because they would've gotten me. Thanks for the imany comments to expose these scam artists
RhondaB...
I also recived a letter from this company anderson, burgess smith, stating that I won $3.9 millon, and to send them $20.00 for processing fee, I was going to send it and my daughter told me not to, she looked up this so called company on google and found all ur comments. Thank God! I was taking my last to pay for a lie. I am a senior citzen. I would like it there was a class action law suite. But where do we begin. Would we get in touch with an attorney? I recived this letter of so called wining 3.9 millon, on 12/14/15.

I too received the same letter "Guaranteed Award Winner" of 3, 900, 00.00, looking so real and me wanting so badly to finally be a BIG winner. I almost made a decision to send the $20. Thinking, YES, maybe this time it's real, until I searched this site for information, thanks for posting. I am so willing to become part of resolving this problem... This is NOT right to prey on innocent people like this!
OK so how do we go about reporting these stiffs. Are they a part of publishers clearinghouse?
I just received the same letter yesterday, December 14, 2015 stating I had won 3.9 million and to send $20 for a processing fee. There should be some way to stop these people. I might be a Senior Citizen but I'm not crazy enough to send money to get money. I agree, let's file a law suite.
I also received the same letter says I win 3.9 million just send 20 bucks to receive your money. Had to look it up. No telephone number no email. I used to live in new York so I asked a friend in the big apple he says its not even a real address he said railroad ave starts there addresses in the thousands. How they keep scamming people is illegal but if you try to find them you won't be able to. Probably someone living in his mom's garage scamming people.
I just received the same letter and now that i am trying to find a phone number i cant find one. What is this world coming to. One lady called me for about a month trying to get money and i asked her why do they scam people and she said because they love money. If you cant find a phone number then its not real. every big business has a phone number.
I received a letter today, 12/14/15 stating I'm a winning of the amount of 3, 900, 000.00, so I asked my son, he Google it and found all the complaints on this company. So thanks for showing me about this scam and to think of the length people would go just to prey on other to get noticed. I'm going post the letter on Facebook to warn all my famos & friends near & far, maybe the higher authority will catch these crooks. Sandra...
Hello I'm glad I read all the comments also, we should get together and sue them it's enough of us to do it. Thanks for the internet cause most of us would have got scammed by them and it will keep them for scamming other people.
I too received the same congratulatory letter for winning of $3, 900, 00.00 - if it sounds too good to be true it probably is! I agree with didi68 - we should file a lawsuit against these folks.
I received this letter 2 weeks ago I just wanted to see what happened if you did send 20.00. I did and I just got another letter same one. I agree we should file a law suit against the company I send a money order not cash or check. I am willing to sign if we can get a suit going.
Put in a text how and where we need to get started.
I also have received these letters, but I was sending money. at least 10 times because every time I got another one it was different and a different process that I was supposed to be going through. im finally looking them up to hopefully find a number, I'm glad I saw the comments. something should be done. they obviously make more money then me!
Received the same letter saying I won money- a lot, but needed to send $20. Has the Better business Bureau or the Attorney general looked in to this Company? I would really like an answer from these people - the Att. .General and BBB. Thanks
Sharon F
Has anybody won anything? ? Why would postal inspectors allow Po box if fraud?
This company is a fake want you to send them 20.00 cause you won 3, 900.00 not true they get your money you get nothing
Received same letter. Just call me insane, but not again
I also receive the same letter awarding me with big lmp sum of money.but in order to get the award money needed to send $20.00 to receive it any any award winning prize does not require to send money to receive your cash prize only fraud people do that.
I just received the same notification that i won money also you should know that anything that requires you to send money is a scam, I am NOT a senior citizen either but whenever I do get letters where I want large sums of money I always look them up so I can post my own comments...
