We are building a house out of state. AmerisSpec was great to work with. From the inspection to the front office the communication was great.

Went very smooth I was pleased & happy with the service & the inspector he did a great job showing and explaining everything and informative with any question I had .

Keith was absolutely amazing. He thoroughly explained the whole process, reviewed photographs he took, and answered all of our questions. Very organized and professional.

I was pleased with the inspector. He inspected the house from the roof to the basement. He helped me understand what to do as a homeowner and how to fix certain things. I give them two thumbs up.

This company is amazing! They really took the time to thoroughly inspect my new home giving me confidence in the purchase. They provided very detailed reports of their findings that included pictures which made things clear and easy to reference.

The service was 1st rate. The inspector did a thorough job and conveyed to us exactly what we would need to speak with the Seller regarding the minor repairs. We needed them out there the next day and they were at the house the next day with the report the following day. Two thumbs up!

Bob was our inspector from AmeriSpec, he was polite, professional and extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Bob while inspecting our soon to be home took his time and was very thorough. Bob answered all of our questions and pointed out any issues. At the end of our inspection he explained what to look out for in the future.

Starting with my initial contact I was pleased with Amerispec. Very easy and quick to make the appointment. The inspector was early, pleasant, and knowledgeable. The inspector gave me an overview of what he was going to do. I followed him around, he explained things to me and answered all my questions. From the office staff to the inspector, everyone was great. I would highly recommend them.

Britteny, in the office, and Jamey, the Home Inspector, made the whole process easy and seamless. They were totally professional yet friendly and approachable. Jamey explained in detail the entire process when he arrived on site, updated us during the inspection, and gave us an overview when completed. We have had experience with AmeriSpec two times. The first was as a seller and the second as a buyer. The inspections were thorough and the reports were detailed and supported with pictures. Amerispec technicians are proficient in all the technical aspects of a house, from structural to electrical, to plumbing, to HVAC, etc. We were impressed with their knowledge and their willingness to answer questions and help us better understand the condition of the property and any issues that needed to be addressed.

We had the worst experience using Amerispec in Delaware. About 8 months after getting our new home inspected, extensive termite damage was found in the crawlspace. The damage was plainly visible but missed by Amerispec! After filing a complaint, Amerispec indicated it wasn't their fault because they think the problem was covered by insulation. We spent many hours researching and found the insulation was removed years ago and have a letter and photos from the company that removed it. Amerispec refused any ownership of the problem and stated since we had the problem corrected they are totally off the hook to reimburse us for the work. They also said the damage could have just occurred since we bought the house even though there were no longer active termites since a previous owner had it treated. Amerispec Delaware has absolutely no business integrity. Do not use them!

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company! If I could give these people zero stars I would. They are the worse company in the entire world to do for you something as important as home inspection. They inspected a house for us and once we moved in there were so may things that were not addressed. None of the doors locked, and I mean NONE of them, not even any of the bathroom doors! We immediately had to change 12 locks through out the entire house. One of the toilets ran water for hours and hours and would not stop. None of the other ones through the house have good suction. The dryer was completely broken. After 3 hours of spinning it still didn't dry anything. Just imagine after you have just spent all this money moving and buying a new house, you have to spend another $1000 buying a dryer. The dryer vent was completely clogged but even after we ourselves cleaned it, it still did't work. To top it all off the AC vent in one of the bathrooms is leaking water from the system. The pipe that is supposed to draw the moisture outside is also clogged and so the water is coming into the house. Now after having lived here only one week, we have two spend hundreds of dollars fixing everything that this inspector didn't catch thanks to Amerispec.
