American Credit Acceptance If I could give them a minus star I would

If I could give them a minus star I would. The customer service sucks. I had a arrangement with a rep for making half of the payments. I just recently got a job to bring everything current. As I was calling to speak to a rep, on 7-18-22, the rep was extremely rude and proceeding to tell me that my vehicle is up for repossession and didn't know when it was going to take place. She was too eager and matter of fact voice and didn't care of the previous arrangements made. I have been paying on the account and would have been current by the end of July. On 7-19-22 the vehicle was repossessed. The amount they said I owe is $1548.87 with the $370 fee. When I asked how to get it back, she told me I was 77days pass due when I had a deferment and was only 30 1/2 days late, When I tried to explain the amount will be paid on 7-29-22 plus August payment will bring everything current, she didn't acknowledge the arrangements and set the repossession in motion. Now I can't get a answer on all three #'s called. I keep getting relooped vm/music. I have called the recovery services and they won't help either. I am getting the run around. I couldn't keep the position because I needed the vehicle to work. Now the vehicle is 50miles out in Elk Village MN from where I live. I just wanted the time to get current. As I looked online for how much I actually owed. It is exactly as I said it was. 1/2 payment left and a full July payment due. That is not 77 days. The arrangement was not honored, and the rep was again, very rude and condescending to me concerning the account. Now this has caused extreme stress in my home and threating to employment. I only have 2 1/2 years left on paying this vehicle off. This company is the worse I have ever experienced.

My car was repossessed ok.,yes they gave me an allowance ok...once the situation was explained the company employee supervisor showed no compassion nor empathy for the situation, people where laughing in the background as if my life situation was a big joke the lack of customer service was horrendous..then they sent my to be auctioned ok...now , I live in NJ, so the company decides to send my car to Maryland..I asked for just a reasonable explanation after paying the full amount owed and I was not given as satisfactory answer nor any compensation or reasonable explanation of why MY VEHICLE WAS IN MARYLAND.which I now have to even more money to get to MARYLAND FROM NJ ...THE LACK OF CUSTOMER CARE IS HORRIBLE..AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT OF TJIS VEHICLE.

American Credit Acceptance I have been out of work since March 13 due to the COVID-19 issue

I have been out of work since March 13 due to the COVID-19 issue. I have been unable to make a payment to this company and have been asking for assistance. They have asked me to call them weekly with updates, which I have, to provide them with updates of my Unemployment. Every time I call they ask me how am I going to make a payment and that I am passed due, which I know. I tell them I still only have $100 in my account and no update in sight as to my unemployment. They keep telling me that I am late to pay. They tell me to make payment arrangements so I can get my file up to date. They keep asking for my stimulus information and if I have gotten it yet. I called today, 4/17, and Luis tells me to send over the $100, the last money in my account, and then to call back next week with an update on the rest and other payment arrangements. I have sent the money over to them and now I have NO money ($0) in my account. I have asked them, are they going to help me with food and rent now that I have no money? He blankly said, no! Now I don't know what I will do as I have no money. Luis was fine with that and wanted me to pay the money over the phone (which would overdraft my account cause of the fee). These people are tone deaf to what is going on. They do not care that this has impacted us all, except them as they are still working to screw us over. They tried to tell me that they were only allowed to work 1-3 days a week and that they feel my frustration. I was stunned as you're still collecting a check and I'm not for over a month. Worse company ever, and it's sad that I have to deal with this weekly it seems until I land a job to prevent the repo of the car. Now I have to sit here with no money in my account with no idea what to do.

This is the worst finance company I have ever encountered. There is no way that I would ever use this finance company again. This company is full of Deceit lies an underlying schemes and scams. They are never willing to work with you regardless to what your situation is it doesn't matter to them. I ran into a slight problem during the pandemic did they want to hear that I was going through the same thing as the whole entire country world was going through. No they did not after a long fight Tuesday on top I finally got a couple payments behind and what do you know I went outside to go to work in my vehicle have been repossessed. $300 of which was fees for being late. As I've noticed this month my car payment was 26 days behind and I got a threat to repossess my vehicle. I borrow the money paid the and when I looked at my account this morning it said zero past due 0 but yet I had a 39.40 fee as a late fee already and my payment isn't even late for this new payment. These people are scamming us and I do definitely intend to do something about it. I think I will reach out to the attorney general's office. I am totally DISGUSTED With their practices. STAY AWAY from these people!

Worst place to do business with. I have made a total of 22 payments to this company with the amount equaling more than $12000, have had the car for a little over two years now and just about $1300 has actually been applied to the car. They have reported 6 30 day late payments on my credit and have said I have paid 1% of my loan or $97. Have reported that I haven't made a payment since July but my bank and their website shows the payment of $1000 I just did on the 2nd of November and the one did in October for my full payment even thou they called me while my wife had just had an emergency C-section and was still in the hospital and refused to give me an extension and even threatened me with repo if I didn't pay. They have been manipulating my credit to keep me locked in the horrible loan and sadly it took till now to see it. They have reported missed payments on my credit but yet my banking records and their own website say other wise. I even called and asked twice what is my total amount of my loan and I was quoted $18723.8. So if I've made 22 payments totaling more then $12000, Where is my money? I will give them the 10 business to correct it filed disputes already. Complaint coming next. And if they don't fix it, I will just get a lawyers involved I'm sure I could find one who loves helping disabled veterans.

My experience with this company has been horrible. My reason for this is their appalling customer service and how they treat their customers. Every time I speak to someone the conversation always begins with what is owed and then asking for my bank card information or checking account information to process the payment. Why not start by asking how can I help you today? You have no idea why that person is calling. Yes I have fallen behind on payments due to situations that are out of my control and am not disputing it's the overall way they treat their customers that I have a problem with. Every time I call I have to deal with a rude rep who refuses to help in anyway, talks over you, cuts you off when your trying to speak to them. They are not helpful with helping people who have hardships. It is sad that people with bad credit have to deal with a company like this. My credit is less than perfect due to hospital bills from a surgery that I had. I needed a car and they were the only ones to offer me a loan and now I am paying the price for having them finance my car. I am looking at other options for paying off this loan and get out from under these people.

American Credit Acceptance I am thankful to American Acceptance!

I am thankful to American Acceptance! I started with basically too little credit to get a rating from 2 agencies, and about 550 from the third. I am on SSI, so I have fixed LOW income. I had 1 outstanding debt. Yet they gave me a chance on a used car. It is true, the interest rate was high. But what do you expect? With poor credit and low income, any rate was welcome. I contacted a dozen dealers who tried with countless creditors. And only American Acceptance approved me. They were even willing to work with a $500 down payment because of my low income. My goal was to build my credit. With ACA's loan, a secured credit card, and a savings account with a credit union. 6 months later I had fair credit, 668, 684, and 718 (due to Experian boost). So I applied and was approved for 2 unsecured credit cards. I let them build for about 4 more months. And now with 713, 720, and 738, I was just approved by my credit union for refinancing my car. So I bit the bullet for 10 months at 25% interest from ACA. Built my credit thanks to them. And refinanced for 3.74% interest. Cutting my debt in half! A great option for people with poor credit that want to repair and build their credit. They did not have an option to pay directly from the principal. My fix for this is to 1) make your regular payment 2) wait a day and make another payment. you will only pay 1 day's interest and the rest will go to the principal. This will help your balance drop quickly and avoid that feeling your debt is not dropping. I saw some complaints about being charged to make a payment. These statements are misleading. There are free ways to make payments. I always went with "bill pay" through my bank account. I fill out the info and amount. And my bank sends the creditor a check. No fees. No stamp. Less than 2 minutes on my bank's website, (They save the info for next time.) and Done!

This company has the worst customer support staff I have ever had to deal with. 5 months we have been talking with and the 6th month they tell us they can not help with our title/lien release because they sold the loan to another company. I pray I never have to talk to this Company again in my life time.

American Credit Acceptance is committing fraud and theft against its customers. While reading through these reviews I noticed a commonality, that being ACA at some is accepting payments from customers without crediting their accounts. I, like many others, have fallen victim to the malpractices of this insidious company. On 8/30/22, I mailed a check for my august payment to American Credit Acceptance, LLC, ***, as I have done every payment I've ever made to ACA. That check was received and deposited into the Wells Fargo account ***1 on 9/2/22. However, my account was never credited and my transaction history was never updated. As of now, ACA is falsely reporting my account as 50 days past due. I have spoke with 2 different supervisors and even mailed them copies of the check, front and back, showing where it was endorsed and when it was deposited. Still no update, no investigation, no audit, only more false claims and reporting. At this point, I'm fully convinced that this company is scamming its customers by pocketing their payments without crediting their account and denying they were ever received. I will have nothing else to do with this abhorrent company and they will never see another dime of my hard earned money again.

American Credit Acceptance American credit acceptance is completely unwilling to work with their clients during a pandemic

American credit acceptance is completely unwilling to work with their clients during a pandemic. I have paid my payments on time every payment since the beginning of my loan over 3 years ago. I was told I do not qualify for deferment of payments because they are not a bank and that isn't in my contract. They do not have any intentions of helping people throughout a pandemic despite that I paid my car payment on time every month throughout the entire in pandemic thus far. They had the nerve to be not only route to me but also ask how I planned on American credit acceptance is completely unwilling to work with their clients during a pandemic. The best resolution they could give me was a submit an application to see if I could get a one month deferment. ONE MONTH. That was with attitude and absolutely no assistance on their end I had to ask for 3 separate managers before I was given that resolution. America credit acceptance is a horrible company with no intentions of helping their clients. I will be refinancing my vehicle immediately and moving away from this company. If you are considering using ACA I highly suggest you look into other lending options . They also have the audacity to say that they do not offer different options at this time like banks and lenders can do to the day or not a bank, they are owned by capital one they are a joke of a company.

This company should be taken down. My payments have been goin to a different account and now I'm falliing"behind" on my payments due to the irresponsibility. The repossessed my car, they don't answer the phone, no email response and they impacted my credit negatively. They want me to pay $1,459 for 3 months that I have my receipts from and my bank statements shows the payment. The don't want to do anything else just for me to pay the amount even though I sent an email with all my proof and evidence of payment and they confirmed that they received it. This company legally should be taken down and compensate all the clients that went through frustration situations.

I have reporting an issue several times in regards to my Transaction history not working on the portal. I have chatted in several times. The Supervisor that I got every time was rude, asked for my credentials ( which is illegal) to sign into my profile. You guys care about nothing but money it seems like and it is a shame that you guys have all these Complaints including mine but as long as you guys get paid that's all that you guys seem to care about and not fixing issues that the customer is facing. You guys just continue to give me the run around when it is a simple online function that should not take literally almost 1/2 year to resolve! You guys should really compensate me since I am having to consistently contact you guys to resolve this. To be honest, I like to use the transaction history because the Interest that continues to rack up daily is absurd. And I was never properly explained when I got my vehicle that it is daily interest versus monthly. Maybe by filing a complaint on here in which I told the supervisor I was going to. Maybe this will be resolved.

American Credit Acceptance Since initiating my loan with American Credit Acceptance two years ago, I never had to contact customer service until a week ago

Since initiating my loan with American Credit Acceptance two years ago, I never had to contact customer service until a week ago. I am sitting on hold at this very moment waiting to speak with a supervisor concerning the extremely, unprofessional, and inarticulate representative named "Jemlyn". I called to confirm receipt of my pay-off check in the amount of over $13,000. Aside from verifying my identity through the IVR, Jemlyn asked for my account number. I did not have it readily available so she asked for my full social. I gave it to her. Apparently, she did not enter it properly because she asked for it and my name a SECOND time. Not comfortable giving my social a second time, I asked her to hold to retrieve the account number. I gave it to her and she had the audacity to ask for my NAME and SOCIAL a THIRD time! I became annoyed because all I wanted to do was confirm receipt of my pay-off. If you play back the call, you will hear where she pretended not to hear me ask for the spelling of her name, she also pretended as if she could not hear me at all by repeatedly saying , "Hello, Hello, Hello," When I told her if she disconnected the call I would call back and request to speak with a supervisor. She then said, "If you will hold for a moment, I will get a supervisor on the phone." THAT WAS OVER TWENTY MINUTES AGO! She kept repeatedly placing me on hold and until she came back on the line one final time and said, "I wasn't able to get a supervisor on the line. I am going to escalate the issue and you can just call back." WHAT ON EARTH? This occurred between 1:30 pm -1:58 pm CST. I am ESTATIC I will be working with my Credit Union going forward. I am BEYOND ANGRY! That girl obviously has no concept of customer service and should not be employed with your company. Now I understand the poor ratings on *** and will be adding my own experience to the growing list of DISATISFIED FORMER CUSTOMERS.

American Credit Acceptance First off starting off with this company I am a bit leery with this high APR of 26.66% for my car loan even before I began to start making

First off starting off with this company I am a bit leery with this high APR of 26.66% for my car loan even before I began to start making payments, only to figure it out on my own that by the time I complete paying for my vehicle I will have paid double for this car. That's my 1st issue, secondly being on the Complaintsboard.com this company has received nothing but terrible reviews from many companies all just about with the same issue, how are they even still in business, this is a joke and then out of 167 Customer Review they have a star rating of 1.29/5 heck they need to file bankrupt or be sent to jail, this is crazy, how can company have so many people representing them and all of these fraudulent and misguided business practices it is almost necessary to obtain an attorney from the very start. I've seen some pretty mess up companies, but I tell you I have never seen no body has any thing good to say about them, it makes me feel that where I am purchasing my vehicle they are working crooks together and they both should be jailed. I do not know but I do not have a good feeling about this at all, I may back out of everything because this company seems like an accident waiting to happen and everybody on the road will be instantly killed. Somthing needs to be done about highway robbing people and then responding back to the customer as if they are the ones with the problem, I've read comments from being flat out hung on, customer requesting a manager only to be told I am not getting you any manager, fraudulently hitting people bank account information, causing identity theft to happen to some, and then overcharging customers who have paid off their loans and even if there is an overpayment this company will not even fix the problem at all. This a Freddy Kruger evil business for sure, how are they still in business, they should have went out with the pandemic or something. I'm just saying, my heart literally goes out to some of these custormers after reading what happen to them.

American Credit Acceptance Worse company ever!

Worse company ever! I went to Jim B automotive to purchase a vehicle. The dealership did me cold dirty. I financed a car through them. My grandmother was on a ventilator from COVID towards the end of 2021. Mom had a stroke from COVID at the same time and I had COVID Delta myself. I tried to get a 2 month extension right at Christmas but couldn't because I'm a single mom. They told me I had to have 500$ additional dollars to get an extension right at Christmas when I was in family COVID Crisis. I had been setting payment arrangements every month since then trying to fight to keep my car for my children. I have a brain tumor and brain condition. The beginning of this month June 2022 I paid partial 300$ the employee through American credit acceptance told me my car wouldn't be repossessed. I missed a payment by 2 days for the rest of the partial and they came to my friends house to reposes the vehicle. All I had to pay was 260$ or so and it would of brought it under 30 days and I wouldn't have lost the vehicle. Alot of the employees have lied to me directly on the phone. It's unfortunate and sad. They won't work with me at all to get my car back. It's all about the money I get it. But it's not fair or right at all! I had an arrangement the employee never told me a date. I planned on paying the rest of the arrangement now I don't have a vehicle because of Jim B automotive lying to me to begin with and American credit acceptance lying to me. They want 5k to get it back. It's going to destroy my credit man. I have been done dirty by so many dealerships.. it's unfortunate and COVID really is why I failed so far behind. On top of Jim B automotive doing my dirty telling me they didn't have a used vehicle to sell me because of liability and nothing cheaper at all the Jim B stores s NOT right all I wanted was a car for my kids. I've fought 7 years to stay out of the hospitals. Now I have no car for my children and destroyed credit. Thank you Jim B...

American Credit Acceptance I purchased a vehicle from ACA 12/28 for close to $18,000

I purchased a vehicle from ACA 12/28 for close to $18,000. The vehicle was stolen in September and recovered in October. Between the time the car was stolen and the time the car was paid off in June , the following transpired: 1. ACA received a check for $2250 from an aftermarket warranty rebate and a check for $11,500. 2. In violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, after receiving these payments, ACA continued to report the balance as approximately $17,000 until May . Violation of the FCRA by furnishing inaccurate data carries a statutory penalty of up to $1,000 per occurrence. Rather than file a complaint, I called their office and an ACA agent named Rhonda got the credit report adjusted to the correct amount. 3. I spoke with an agent who told me that they "stopped charging interest" when the car was stolen BUT THEY CHARGED ME THE ENTIRE CONTRACT AMOUNT--MEANING 5 YEARS WORTH OF INTEREST ON A CAR THAT WAS PAID OFF IN LESS THAN 18 MONTHS. (So their loans are pre-computed interest loans meaning that even if you try to pay your car off "early" you still pay interest for the entire life of the contract-----interest that ACA did not earn) 4. Despite the lump sum payments by myself, the insurance, and the refunded warranty, they reported my last three payments as "late payments" to the credit bureau--two of which were months AFTER the car was paid off. The three recent late payments destroyed my ability to buy a home. I called and asked them to correct the error and they refused. MY ADVICE to ANY person who has credit reporting or debt collection issues with this company is to FILE A FEDERAL LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM. This company has no problem violating your rights. Subprime lenders like this need to be held accountable. I've read the reviews about people suffering financial hardship because of COVID. If ACA violated your rights, seek out a good attorney in your area. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act provide for monetary relief for business practices typical of this type of lender.

American Credit Acceptance I would give them less stars, but unfortunately, you can't

I would give them less stars, but unfortunately, you can't. I should have anticipated issues with ACA, when they required me to purchase the $4k auto warranty at the time i bought the car. Basically it is a total waste of money. I purchased my vehicle in October. Everything was going along fine, until Covid 19 hit. I was laid off of work, due to the restaurant/bar industry being shut down. I filed for unemployment, as did the millions of others. The process was not a pleasant one and it literally took me 2 months to get everything straightened out and to start receiving my unemployment payments. I notified ACA right away of the issues I was experiencing and to let them know I would make payments as soon as the issue was resolved. This did no good. I constantly received multiple calls daily asking for updates. They reported my behind payments against my credit report, with no explanations, I received a notice in the mail that they would be repossessing my vehicle and as they falsely report on some of their responses here, they continued to charge me late fees and mysterious "other fees" on my account. As soon as the unemployment payments finally started, I was able to catch up my account. I again advised them that I would make a monthly payment as close to my due date each month, but it would be dependent on when the unemployment payment was received. Again, they continue to charge me late fees each month, since most of my payments have been a couple days behind their due date. They have little to no concern for their customer, especially during this Covid 19 period, that much is clear. Basically their constant collection calls if your account is one day late. Most of the calls are robo calls and not even answered by them on the other end. I find it interesting that they claim to care about their customers and make false claims of waiving late fees during this period, when they clearly are not! They've charged me over $250 in fees in the last 5 months, not included the fee to make a payment, If you don't have a loan with them, do yourself a favor and run in the other direction. The overall lack of care and concern and false claims during this period in all our lives isn't worth the frustration and it will just put more money in their pocket in the long run.

My son who has now passed on in his 20's made a grave mistake in dealing with ACA on his own (agreeing with the young lady in the reviews on their website). I spoke with Denise an Executive Supervisor about correcting a small error on my son's account to pay it off and she refused to fix it because my name wasn't on his account. The payoff quote I received was incorrect (1,500 short) and the payoff I received is documented in their service record. I'd re-iterated several times I did not need information from her and that I had been making his payments without issue for 8 plus months until speaking with her about my back dating the interest or adding a credit to p/o his loan. That the statements also come to our home or call the line again to get the corrected payoff. I've had to get my family member involved who is an attorney because she has went in and seemingly blocked all access to his account to make sure the balance is paid in full to get his title. With that being said I haven't seen in 2 months since the initial payoff in July. The numerous people that I have spoken with where I work as well as our church family and friends suggested I reach out to ever avenue and tell all until I get the correction and title. Even though I have paid the rest of the balance in full a week ago over $7k now. No payments were refunded or rejected by them. There culture is such that they are incompetent in what the are scripted to say and are dishonest in not making things right once they've noticed a wrong regardless of who found an issue. This is why companies have outside auditors for balance and they clearly need them. ACA is the only barrier I have experienced since his passing in paying off his bills as he had no assets. He worked hard and served this country and was proud of his (expensive) purchase and all I was attempting to do was secure it without additional stress or incident. He was my only son and I am a single parent who saved money and has worked non stop through COVID in the medical field to pay his car off. I suggest parents that you guide your children in these dealings as it honorable and respectable that they are attempting to adult to obtain cars on their own but not with this company. And to all others, please know they are not reasonable. Make no mistake. I will post again should we not get the title after our attorney reaches out to customer complaints. .

American Credit Acceptance I would love to be able to leave a zero star review for this company

I would love to be able to leave a zero star review for this company. They are the worst finance company that I have ever dealt with in my life! I have never received quality customer service from them at any time that I have contacted them. We are trying to sell the financed vehicle and reached out to request the necessary docs to do so and was told this would be emailed on 2 different days and ... guess what no docs! When calling to speak to someone I am told "sorry that dept is closed and no one else can help you". Then be told that I need to call back...seriously I have already called twice about this issue and it does no good at all. I understand that certain depts may be open only certain hours but when I request to speak to a supervisor in a company and am refused the right to do so because the supervisor doesnt want to take the time to deal with a customer I find this to be totally unacceptable! Even tho they may not work for that dept they do represent that company and should never refuse to speak to a customer. Then when calling back I continuously get the same agent and am told that supervisors only work certain hours and there is no one who is able to speak to me is unbelievable! I have never been so disgusted with a company as I am with this one and will NEVER suggest anyone do business with them and from the reviews I have seen online I am not the only one who feels this way. All we are trying to do is pay off a loan with a company that we wish we had never ever done business with and no one will help you. When requesting docs we are told that it can take up to 48 hours for an email to be sent...really? Are they carving this doc out of stone like the flintstones did and how are they sending this information that it takes 48 hours? UNBELIEVABLE THAT A CUSTOMER THAT IS PAYING YOU TO DO YOUR JOB CANNOT GET ANYTHING DONE BECAUSE NO ONE CARES ENOUGH TO DO THEIR JOB! I have called multiple times and get the same stupid responses each time. Word of mouth is the best advertisement that a company can ask for and believe me that every single word that will come from me will be negative and I will encourage everyone I know to NEVER use this company. Hopefully someone in upper management and with some business sense and service experience will read this review and do something with useless customer service that is currently available with this company. Its such a huge let down to always be a good customer and never miss your payments to be treated like you dont matter to a company. I look forward to paying this vehicle off and never having to deal with such ignorance again. THIS COMPANY AND THE AGENTS WHO WORK THERE SHOULD TAKE A STEP BACK AND REALIZE THAT WITHOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY WOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS! THEY NEED TO LEARN SOME RESPECT AND COMMON COURTESY AND BE MORE HELPFUL IN THEIR POSITIONS.

American Credit Acceptance 0 Star if that would be possible, I have bought a car 2year ago and after a bankruptcy I had to go with this company

0 Star if that would be possible, I have bought a car 2year ago and after a bankruptcy I had to go with this company.First I was all glad someone took me, but now I know why. This company does not record all calls , as I had problems to pay I called and spoke to an agent letting him know the money was going to be late, nothing was recorded so car got picked up without a notifaction after 60 days. Next day the money I was waiting for to make the payment arrived , of course now it went thru other cost then really what it was ment for. But that is not my mayor issue with them. In April we had hail and car got damaged per estimate it was over $ 6200. I did my part and called every place from Insurance, GAP and American Acceptance Credit reporting it sending needed documents and exchanged with every company information as well as contact info. As the Insurance payed part of the loan of GAP insurance ask to receive a copy from AAC after it was received and cashed. So I called ,email and chatted with AAC to make sure they will send needed doc out, my first attempt after reporting the hail damage was April 22,2020 , next one was April 23,2020 , another time was April 25 ,2020 then April 29,2020 and continued in to May several times. I either got someone who didn't know what they where doing or didn't want to , I was told from we don't send a copy out has to be the insurance to we did send you a copy as well as to your GAP insurance. NONE was true! I called insurance again to verify and GAP to ensure i had the right information. So I called again and again and email over and over! I got to talk to several agent and comment where from , you will not be charged since car is write off , to you are late you need to pay now! The car has not been in my possesion since May 02,2020! I made payment till March and partical for April . I am not going to pay for anything else after AAC received on April 22,2020 a check over $ 6000 and the rest was supposed to be payed by GAP. That could of been done already in May after GAP assured me all what was needed was the Copy of the Check, I had send everything else in by April 22,2020 to be sure it was done correct. This 1 piece I couldn't not send in is main key to get it payed off completly. So I called again in May every third day to check on the status and checked my e-mail daily after I ask for a copy to be send to me as well for proof that is was done, of course I was told over and over it is send. NOTHING! On my last call on May 22,2020 I was finally told the truths , copy was never send it was requested but never got followed up by department in charge of it! Also that GAP had requested copy a second time as well now! This agent this time was really helpfull and called all supervisors till she had the copy and send it to my email and to GAP , as I ask her what about my credit score and the intrest accumulated in this time , she had to transfer me to a different department. This agent was not willing to listen and ignored the fact that it is not my fault that GAP hadn't payed yet, due not receiving needed copy of check from ACC. THIS IS REDICLESS I should not have to pay any fees or intrest for this time frame your employees straight lied by saying it was send in April and May, what was not the truths, neither should GAP have to pay for the delay on AAC side! As I tried to explain to agent with them taking there sweet time and making faults statements, its showing late- past due and accumulated over $380 of intrest , she told me I needed to pay my regular payment plus my intrest ! She also mentioned oh the copy was send out if GAP pays before end of May it will stop and no more intrest will be accumulated, I was stund over her answer and ask her serious do you even know what you are saying is not possible ? IF you guys just got copy today and mailing out today it wont be there till Monday or Tuesday, on top Monday was a Holiday so by the time this will be looked at by GAP insurance it will be thursday 28of May or May 29,2020 you expect them to cut a check and have it mailed to you by less then 2 days? Things you can't even process in one month you expect them to get done right away. Serious? I ask her to let me speak to a supervisor what she refused with the phrase it is escalated , and if you don't want to pay we are getting the car! Serious I don't even have the car anymore it already got picked up by insurance company ! I have wrote since then several emails and no response. My account now shows 60 days late! Redicless all you are doing it making extra money on expenses of your customer ! I check daily to see if GAP has payed yet but even if you get a check from them you might not even cash it out of spike! I will rebattle any credit score you will enter , I am to the point to report this if you aren't fixing this issue! I am done being cooperative and doing what was needed as soon as it happened! I am warning people not to deal with this Credit company , no remorse this is a fraudle behavior! Companies like this should be closed !

American Credit Acceptance The worst mistake I ever made

The worst mistake I ever made. Don't care about anything but screwing everyone over. So Me and my husband got 60 days behind on our payments which we kept them up-to-date. everything was fine we owed $3000 they repossessed the car 24 hours and 29 minutes past the phone call of them telling me the car was not in repossession state. I say that specific time because they said I have 24 window the car can still be repossessed. So I try to pay with my aunts help the whole amount and they wouldn't even try her card we had to do a money gram well my aunt is the DA and was kinda busy with warrants she was issuing so she went the next day it had to be a money gram for some reasson we pay them 3,089.00 to bring it current so no more 60 days over due and it asked for 400$ repossession fee to them... we paid go to get our car and they crossed out customer pays 0.00$ and put 150$ because American credit acceptance told them to. So this is 2days being repoed we got it out. 3 days go bye after we paid it current and they hit my credit report 3 DAYS AFTER PAYMENT for 30 (not 60) days past due and for 1,795.00$ (not 3,086.00$) they told us they can only report to the credit company's 1 time per month which is a lie. But even if they could it wouldn't be 3 days over when I paid them off and it wasn't even the correct information I was 60 days over due and 3grand over. So now today 5 days after finding the stuff on my credit and looking into my husband's law firm department on what to do, I get a letter in the mail of them stating the day they took my car it was going to a private auction unknown and I have 2days to pay it off or my vehicle will be auctioned to the unknown private party. So they literally repossessed my car illegally since it was over that 24 hour mark and I called them as the car was being taken (our tow guy was bad *** he was great and he offered to give us rides to go get it once paid ) this company lied about the time it was repossessed because I called my new buddy tow guy and asked exactly what time he logged it and ACA said it was noon (I called 11:47 am the day before) so if it was noon still over 24 hours no matter the time difference I beat it by 13min. But the tow yard didn't even log a *** time! There currently is no record of the time it was repossessed so they lied and threw a number out and still made me in the right. Now I asked tow yard guy what time he believes he started to reposses and he told me as his best guess 12:26 so if that's right I was still OVER 24 HOURS no matter eastern and central time zones 24 hours is 24 hours, yes it was 11.47 my time (8.47 your time) to 12.26 my time (10.47) yours it's still 24 hours. They said that the company will send me an detailed reciept of my payment and what went to what and they sent it *** and I have informed delivery as soon as my name pops up I get a notification to paper mail and packages I will receive and they sent it to be delivered the 20th and the day of the 20th before reaching my mailbox or door it's already being sent back to sender! But they messed up and I got a screenshot thanks to the slip up of an employee 479$ was paid as repossession fees... to ACA they didn't repo the car which is fine I paid it but they called the tow yard and specifically told them to make us pay the fees from them of 150$ the tow yard had no issue throwing them under the bus and said "normally when you pay them off they pay us the money from the repossession fees you paid...but they told me you were to pay them all and they won't do it" when I asked ACA they put me on hold for for 1hour and 45 minutes to tell me I have to call back tomorrow when I demanded multiple times to speak to a supervisor me and him get at it he still is saying I have to call tomorrow he's muting my calls and one time he hit unmute to early and you can hear me on speaker and 2-6 employess sitting around laughing at me. I know it's an open call center but they were so close to the phone I heard one girl so close to the speaker it was louder then the supervisors voice so they literally for 2 hours mocked me on speaker phone and noted other calls were going on (but they were suppose to closed that's why I couldn't be transfered to management. So as they make fun of me the next day is when they reported the crap to my credit account the wrong info well I looked into it today with some law advice and lawyer teams and they didn't not report my payment what they did was pull a hard inquiry in my credit as refinancing the car not payoff or that it was repossesed or anything and from my letter they didn't think we would pay the fees, they tried to get it from the tow yard after we paid them off to transfer it to a private place but since I did their job and I sent proof to the tow yard corporate office that we paid well be by in the am to pick it up and it's all good to go it's in their system and guess what she tells me I better hurry cause it sounds to her that the credit financing company asked to pick the vehicle up already that day but it closed 2 hours prior. And as far as she knows they sent the paperwork stating I paid them and didn't give them the 400$ reposseion fees so I paid them to ACA for nothing and I paid the 150$ to them the next morning. They didn't expect me to I mean I have a 1year old and my husband and my kid and I got covid the flu and 5 viral strands in mid November we are literally just being able to get up and make phone calls if it wasn't for our aunt we wouldn't have been able to pay we drive for *** eats and can't deliver covid and food so we are broke so broke my daughter won't have a Christmas we had 2present for her and gave them to her when we both fell ill now that we figured out this isn't going to kill us we have our car at the moment but my kid my 21 month old baby won't have a Christmas we don't even have a tree or decorations. And to late for toy drives and that extra money could have been spent on her they took that by being greedy slimy snakes. Now they can still legally repo my car still since they refinanced me under a month late they can literally pick it up at any time and it go straight to a private property for auction. Which according to a very recent law suit they found ACA actually did this on purpose they take the car resell it to a new dealer and refinance the car where the previous customer lost everything and the dealer for that customer doesn't get paid and ACA resells restarts and gets 20,0000X times more with no fault to be able to prove they did it. But like I said I recorded every call every time every date and they confirm it on those calls and literally tell me I don't know what I'm talking about it was in the disclose statement. WAIT WHAT?! the only policy I read was the privacy policy online every single other one is nowhere to be found ! I didn't even realize this until they said they read me a policy explaining all of that. Uh I went and re listened to every single call and not one SINGLE time did they mention a policy, a statement of any source and not a person read or offered it. I start looking online for it and not a single policy can be found for them so for 1-if I can't find it its area 51 locked up how did I sign this? 2- how can you tell me it was disclosed knowing *** well your rude *** employess can't stay longer on the phone then 5 minutes so where is this disclose statement? Was it in the reciept yall were sending then had sent back when it reached my town under "return reciept requested back" shipped back to sender. And how can I pay yall 3,086.00$ then ask what do I mean when I asked for a reciept an itomized statement of where my money went and red flag was when yall told me "a what? I'm sorry I don't understand what your asking I can send you a statement of your bill being paid." I cut her off " no a reciept like I paid yall money can I get a statement showing what I just paid to you and what I got" she said "okay I can send you a payment history of your account"and I said "no I see that I want to know what fees I paid what I owed what my money yall calculated up to be and the fact that I paid it money gram like yall said when the card I gave you didn't work (it was never ran she took the card info and waited and said it didn't work I can only do money orders going back on my transactions it was never ever ran)" and she refused to give me a email or mailed copy of my proof of purchase and next day here we are credit report now fraudulently reported to my credit company's and now trying to illegally change my policy's when I technically never signed anything with them because I have yet to find it and basic copy of anything rights related and when I asked an employee to send me a copy of the policy's I signed there is none in my account at all! Now I have been lied to and told I'm stupid and can't count to 24 by higher higher management made fun of by multiple employess and had supervisors degrading and humiliating me and sharing my personal account details to his budys in the office and then lied to again about the credit crap and my payments literally go down the drain as they pull some backstabbing company policy's I've never heard or signed be used against me and now I feel to embarrassed and to emotional to be able to call them back, you'd think the higher you go the best outcome you'll get but for this company its the opposite the higher you go the more twisted in their black web of torture you'll be. Can't call to complain if you can't bare the phone call of degrading abuse they give you and no matter how right you are they will tell you the sky is purple and make you feel so stupid and worthless and no matter what I do it won't mean *** won't go anywhere. The customer service employess the first ones to answer they care they have no idea what's going on up top they are sincere and meaningful and tell you what supervisor's tell them to when and they tell you to call back at such and such time cause what's going on is messed up and management needs to know but no one's available today. Call back tomorrow. No matter how many times you call they won't ever be not busy. So luckily my aunt is a DA and told me to record every phone call I ever make and document with video/audio/picture/ proof and save it so I did and then I started looking Into my own rights since they can't even provide me a reciept and lied to me multiple times and everything I have it all documented and I'll definitely be looking into pursuing this in many different ways to find the best way to go and the best attorney to help me. I got lucky by my husband owning a law firm down here from his family and my aunt as a DA. But to anyone else I would 10/10 do not do not do NOT look into this company for yourself. Look at the lawsuits and the nasty things they do to make money from people and they lie to credit company's and pull some slimey nasty things to people who hire them they should be shut down and the reviews online they made the employees say good things if they did they got a free lunch to talk about the great ol ACA look the names up in the employess currently still employess and the good reviews are by themselves. I'd really like to crunch the operation they have I would because some customers they keep perfectly of you seem to struggle a little bit they assume you won't go to court you won't look into your rights and they pry on that they have you so confused you think the sky is purple when the phone call ends. And you feel to stupid to call back they cut you off don't listen and if you keep your cool and facts straight you'll be told they will call you within 79 hours after reviewing the phone calls and documents (that I never signed) then they will tell me the resolution of my case if it is going against any community standards. And you won't ever get a call and everytime you asked to speak to a supervisor you'll be out on hold and told they are in a meeting and they will call you back tomorrow. ? a little tip even dialing *67 and then calling they still know it's your phone so they will ignore it or put it to a certin department and have to eventually just give up and take it. But luckily for us I have nothing better to do then research and document proof to help me on my quarantine journey since yall also took Christmas from my child my 21month old who will get no Christmas present or dinner or even think any different of the day then she would the other 364 days I hope yall have a wonderful Christmas with your familys I do because not having that is a bad feeling but not being able to provide it to your child even though you worked so hard for it is even worse and it's a stomach pain that's worse then anything I'd wish on anyone. Yall won't even second think of us while your doing things with your family's and being full of winter joy while we sit here and do our normal routine explaining to everyone why I'm not returning holiday wishes. So my holiday will be spent doing everything I legally can to get to wherever I legally need to have to make sure you follow the guidelines you so strongly talk about on your websites so no more babies and children and family's get mauled over by your company or the actions you take upon the people who do call you out. I have nothing left to lose and yall know that you just think I won't do anything about it. If I win cool mission accomplished of I loose you still have to someday face the facts and Accusations to some kind of extent and more and more people will come together and it may not even be my case but I will make sure to let every business and customer know what kind of monsters your company is.

American Credit Acceptance I have had many issues with ACA that I have been trying to sort out with them first before taking any litigating action

I have had many issues with ACA that I have been trying to sort out with them first before taking any litigating action. In 7/22 I was told that the company does not refinance loans. So that lead me to dig into my car contract. I found that ACA purchased debt that did not exist yet. The loan APR far exceeds the percentage allowed by law, which is usurious violating 12 USC 86. ACA has furnished on my credit file that I have been late when in fact what they are reporting to the bureaus don't coincide with each other and other billing errors per 15 USC 1666, ACA is required to not furnish late payments or negative information without addressing the billing error issues within 30 days. ACA has not responded but continues to furnish negative information to coerce payment which is against 15 USC 1692d. ACA did not provide required TILA disclosures and told me that I do not have any rights violating 15 USC 1635. I have provided ACA with a cease and desist to stop all communications directly and indirectly due to the harassment and inability to follow the laws in which governs them. ACA continues to furnish negative, inaccurate information in an effort to oppress me to receive payment they are not rightfully owed due to their lack of action they are legally to take. Indirect harassment. ACA does not have permissible purpose to furnish information on my credit file violating 15 USC 1681b. ACA is not licensed to collect debt in ***, Missouri, nor are they licensed to conduct business in Kansas, where the transaction took place. ACA violates consumer rights and makes predatory "loans" to oppress their customers into long drawn out payments. My APR is 28% the legal limit is 15% and the 28% they claim to calculate doesn't match the total amount financed alleged on the contract. ACA hired a tow company who is not licensed to repossess to steal my car after asserting my rights. ACA refuses to work with you once you catch on to their deceit. I want this acct removed ASAP.

I did sign a retail installment and finance agreement in 5 through *** in Orlando with ACA agreeing to take the loan on. All payments have been made in accordance with the contract until three months ago when my wife got laid off. I have been in constant communication with representatives at ACA and as always they did document the file. Now, when I send them an overnight package it is always done through FedEx and at the time I do tender such for delivery, I ALWAYS call in the tracking number and customer service representatives do document. Well, on 1/24, I did send out a certified check for $3,750 and the package was delivered on the 25th and signed for by a B. J. I got the proof of delivery from FedEx and all of the documentation. After not seeing the payment post by Thursday, I contacted customer service and they told me that the payment has yet to post and that I need to be patient because they get a ton of payments daily. The representative informed me that the repossession was put on hold. Well, they are a bunch of liars. Earlier thhis morning, I heard a tow truck outside of my residence and they were hooking up my car -- I lost my temper. I even showed the driver all of the proof -- and he was baffled by the process. By the way, the repo company that they used in Orlando *** does not answer their phones at all. I spent most of the day battling with ACA and they all say we are launching an investigation. No investigation is needed because someone did drop the ball by not moving the FedEx envelope once received into the area for the payment to be indexed and credited properly. I still believe that they could have credited another account with that payment. They are rude and argumentative. I will be calling them on Monday and if the answer is not to my liking, civil suit will be filed in *** County, Florida. I got all proof if need arises.

I have an auto loan with American Credit Acceptance. In December I received an offer from my bank, *** Federal Credit Union (***), to refinance my vehicle at a better rate. I took this offer and on December 22, 2022, I sent the payoff check to ACA in the amount of $47,668.09. It was confirmed as received on December 28, 2022. The funds were deposited to ACAs *** holding account on Jan 06, 2023, as I did not include my ACA account number on the check. Throughout this process, I have contacted ACA customer service and managers for updates on the deposit to assist in getting the funds correctly applied to my account. Finally on January 13, 2023, I was advised that the funds were being sent back to *** Federal Credit Union (***) via check. I've been in contact with *** but they have not received the check. In order to further trace the money with them they are requiring the following information: - Check number - Date of Check - Check Amount - Date the Check was sent. I've spent hours on the phone with different managers trying to obtain this information but even after research requests have been submitted I have nothing but 2 active car loans, each requiring payment and nearly 50,000 each. As of today, January 30, 2023, NCFU has advised that they have not received the funds and without the information above the money would sit in their holding account until it is sent back to ACAs *** account; ACA advised that there is still no update on the requested information. As I'm sure you could understand, I'm very frustrated and am just looking for a satisfactory resolution of knowing where these funds are so that I can get them correctly applied. Please provide the information listed above and if possible confirmation the check has been cashed by *** Federal credit Union. I'd appreciate any assistance that can be granted in fixing this issue. Please feel free to contact me if any additional information is needed.

My car was repossessed from American credit acceptance corp. My last payment on my vehicle was on November 16 2022. I was not 90 days behind on my payments the website states I was only 60 days behind. I have made a payment concurrently every month from the date of purchase of the vehicle. The reinstatement division refused to waive the fees to allow me to retrieve my vehicle. I had no idea my vehicle would be considered default in 60 days. I advised American Credit Acceptance Corporation in March when vehicle was purchased the AC compressor was not operating . I contacted the dealer *** to request they assume the cost due to car purchased with in 30 day time frame, they refused. I tried to return the vehicle to trade for a different vehicle. They refused. I contacted American Credit Corporation as my first payment was due in May they state loan was to new to grant any extensions or trade outs of vehicle. I was stuck paying cost of repair deductible and cost of transportation while my newly purchased vehicle was being repaired for a major mechanical failure. I had to make a payment for a major repair before the first payment was on the loan acquired for the vehicle which placed me in a financial hardship going forward with the payments.. I actually filed a complaint with *** and it is on file. I advised credit acceptance reinstatement department regarding this issue. They refused to compensate for my financial issue to help me retain the return of my vehicle. I requested to speak with Supervisors of there department they refused to allow me access stating they would return my calls and never did. I made a $815.00 payment to cover 2 months December and January via debit card. The phone representative advised me my account is now current and she grant extension on 2 payments to the end of my loan. She stated my next payment is due on March 15, 2023. However, my car is now detained, I have no way of going to work to support my Family and pay off the $15k there charging me for this loan. I request American Credit Acceptance Corporation release my vehicle immediately , as I believe it was in appropriately repossessed. My account is currently in good standing. I should not be charged late fees and a repossession fee to return my vehicle as they used repossession as a collection tactic instead of default. As my loan has not defaulted. Thank you

Hi. American Credit Acceptance is a predatory lender. I have paid them $400 which they claim hasn't gone towards my bill but was used as a previous repo fee. I asked for paperwork confirming this fee and the manager couldn't provide it. It's not in the contract, they just make it up. I'm to pay $179 to equal a my $579 note. I've been having some financial/family issues so working the best I can. They are now claiming I owe $639.02. My $579.02 payment plus $60 from the $460 repo fee, again they took the $400 from my car payment to that. The illegally repo'd my vehicle without any explanation and are threatening to do it again if I don't pay the $639. I only owe $179 as 2 $200 makes $400 plus the $179. It's simple math that ACA is purposely ignoring. Please reach me at 804-***.

This company has unfair practices and did nothing to assist us when we reached out to them pretty early on in the covid-19 pandemic and informed them, as we did with all utility and service providers, that we were having issues with making payments. We were told by the representative, that American Credit Acceptance has nothing in place to assist customers during the pandemic( I sent a letter to them regarding this because on their website, they have these 3 fake review people and one states he was glad they assisted him during covid) no such thing! They were the only company when the pandemic hit to place derogatory information on the credit report. All other service providers halted with the understanding that there was a crisis which made it hard to continue life as usual. They also do not take into account when payments are made and began sending annoying texts about being however many days late, even after some type of payment was made showing they don't take into consideration that there may be hardships involving the customer, they make it difficult on the customer with these text that disregard payments that you do make. Last month, they text me asking whatever payment I can make, and we did make what we could, and they still came and repo the car, inspite of payment efforts just recent as last month and when I spoke with someone they only cared about November payment when there was only a $264.46 difference. But they make it look as if I sent nothing. I never thought car loan holders repo a car when they see payments being made. I think their practices should be looked into because when we looked into pay off, they still have the car at original amount as if my 30 payments were not reflected and believe me, whatever they get for the car now, by law it wont be anywhere near the pay off quote, they may as well have let me keep my car and work this out.. but oh, they were unfair and had no best practices in place what can they or will they do to assist me now?

01/19/2023 My vehicle was towed for the second time , upon discovery i was given a price of what i had to pay regrding my associated fees in order to get my vehicle back, which was $1801.46 + tow fee of $425 which the tow company stated the tow fee was $220 and that the price was incorrect with the facilty. so now i am unable to get my car back until i come up with $2400 then to make matters worse no one wants to communicate with me properly about these associated fees when i have proof that they should not be that way since of course i called the storage lot where my car is and on my paperwork has a different price then what the company states in person on the board along with the customer service rep from houston seizure towing (***) the owner & vendor of the towing company stated that the prices were incorrect. along with them taking my money and not making a proper adjustment

I have called the customer service dept numerous times to get a copy of all of my loan doucments when I applied for my loan. This company has refused to comply. I've waited the 72 hours after submitting the request and they still refuse to send me all my documents. This loan was not a dealer buyback as the acct was paid in full and I still have possession of the car and the title is in my name. The loan was removed from my credit report when it should had been reported as paid in full.

In August , I happy purchased a 2019 *** from *** in Edwardville, IL. I It was financed by American Acceptance. But when I foolishly decided to move back to texas where I am from and vast majority of family is, I ran into much financial crisis and have been unable anymore payments that I kept up until June 2022. Acceptance started sending me threats of car repossession. I tried to pay as much as I could (300 here 200 there) but I just could no longer do it after one calamity after another happened to me in this hostile city of San Antonio. The only other I had short of losing car was to get another *** in San Antonio to do a settlement. They offer $12000 for it. I have sent this to ACA via email attachments along with pictures they demanded and never email me back. When I called, they claimed they accepted the offer and to look for documents to sign and then take to the dealership. But no papers ever came...juts more bills. And now Enterprise said they waited too late and will have to start the process all over again with a lower offer. I believe they wanted pictures so they can track the car and repossess it rather than to show no damages to exterior as they claim. Besides, why would enterprise offer 12,000 on a car with over 65,000 miles if there was damages! I say they just want to make my situations worse by taking my car which I need to get to work everyday. And to not take $12,000 when last check it was about 2500 in missed payments is not stupid but downright mean. I told them it would be months before I can ever get caught up and to take the car will only cause me to lose my job. At least with other options I could start fresh albeit a car with more miles but at least lower monthly payments. Now after never getting anything from them emailing a response, today they said I was in default and repossession process was in place. They didn't even emailed approval they claimed was mailed after I asked.

American Credit Acceptance On 6/20 I signed a loan agreement contract with American Credit Acceptance for 72 Months at 28% interest with monthly payments of $313.65

On 6/20 I signed a loan agreement contract with American Credit Acceptance for 72 Months at 28% interest with monthly payments of $313.65. the dealership I was working with expressed the ACA would not approve my loan without mandatory GAP insurance. 2 weeks after signing the contract and making the $1500 downpayment I received a letter in the mail stating my loan was denied. I then emalled a representative that had been corresponding with me explaining the letter. She replied stating to disregard the letter that the only thing needed was a new Military Lending Act Disclosure to be signed for 31.56% interest. when I explained I had already signed one for 28% along with the mandatory GAP insurance she said they found it and everything I signed at the dealership was good to go. My first payment in August was all applied to interest, and the payments for September and October were both applied 100% to interest. I contacted ACA and requested a loan amortization schedule of my loan and was told that was normal due to the interest rate. At this point I have contacted the insurance company that provided the GAP insurance to cancel it. in November I paid $400.00 in December the refund of $799.00 was sent to ACA on January 21 I sent a certified letter requesting disposition of the $799.00 GAP refund and again requesting a loan amortization schedule of my loan it was then backdated on my account to show as processed in January 19. in January my payment due was $228.00 other than the $799.00 refund that was applied to principal from August to April 15 I paid $2512.50 in normal payments and only $119.03 was applied to the principal. on April 24 I made an additional payment of $315.00 that should have been applied as a principal payment however it was divided between principal and interest to date I have been charged $54.00 in late charges and have requested numerous times for an amortization schedule and have received no response. I have also requested my account be audited and payments be applied correctly as there is no reason that 7 out of 12 months worth of payments to be applied 100% to interest.

I had called ahead about a payment. Was told doing that would stop my automatic draft from working. I agreed then called on 1/13 to complete payment. When I checked my bank account, 2 payments had come out. One for the original on 1/13, but the other I had not authorized. When I called about the refund, I was told the funds would take 10 days to be returned. I told them this was unacceptable since taking the extra payment overdrew my account. I continued to get excuses about the unauthorized extra payment, but returning the money would still take 10 days. This is their mistake and it shouldn't take that long to put the money back. It certainly didn't take that long to take the money out.

I bought my car in 2020, while I was still active duty military the company knew I was active and the SCRA rights and told me my APR would be adjusted to the cap amount of 6% 2 years later that never happened and they are refusing to do so telling me because I joined in 2018 and got my vehicle in 2020 I do not qualify which is not correct. I will be filing a report with the SCRA as well. I would like for that to be adjusted.

I went and bought a vehicle in ***, after buying the vehicle I received a temp tag and the temp tag was a 45-day tag at which point,I still had not received the memorandum title so I could go and register the vehicle or get e checked. I contacted American credit acceptance they said that they had sent it to the dealership,I then contacted the dealership they said that I would have to contact American credit acceptance to get a new copy of the memorandum title. I had several times during which I had received two tickets one from stow and one from *** for having expired plates totaling approximately $400 in fines had to pay those by the time we had gotten to the point where we were going to return the vehicle for them violating the contract. The communication head broken down at that point we decided we were going to return the vehicle to the dealership but the vehicle had been in an accident where I was not at fault it was a hit and run. I still maintain contact with American credit acceptance they had already decided that they were going to repo the vehicle. I was not aware of this they had not notified us and we went outside and the vehicle was missing we thought the vehicle had been stolen so we contacted *** Police department, the repo company had not informed them or the county of the impending repo. We received notice that the vehicle was going to be repossessed and I have the opportunity to voluntarily surrender the vehicle but it came three days after the actual repossession. I believe that we should not be held accountable for the entirety of the contract because we contacting them regarding getting the memorandum title that was required to register the vehicle and their lack of communication as far as the impending repo as far as I'm concerned his contract should be null and void on its face do to them violating the terms of the contract they will not hear anything of the sort they still are trying to bill me for over $10,000 and I believe that this is not appropriate due to the fact that they violated the law on numerous occasions and they failed to provide needed documentation in order to get a title or register the vehicle in my name so that I would not have received the two tickets that I did from *** and stow.

I have been making double payments on my car loan because my interest rate is super high and I couldn't ever see my loan going down. I've been doing this for 6 months and never received a fee. Well on January 1st I made another payment on the car loan. Now I have $36 worth of fees. However, my account doesn't say what these fees are. I'm assuming "penalties" for making more payments on my car. If this is the case why just now start. Why penalize me for trying to pay off a car that isn't even worth half of what I owe. I don't see anything on the website about not being able to pay extra toward your vehicle. What are these fees for.

American Credit Acceptance If I could give this company a negative rating I would

If I could give this company a negative rating I would. This company is the worst financial institution that I have ever dealt with. I will NOT do anymore business with them and I will be sure to let everyone know how horrible a company they are. I purchased a car from another financial company and right at the end American credit purchased the loan from the original company. I have never had any issues with the older company. I was called for an introduction call and during this call I received my payoff amount. The young lady that gave me the payoff explained that my payoff should not change because the type of loan I have, all the interest has already been paid. I was only a payment away from paying in full. She also helped me create my online account. So I went in a few days later and paid the payoff and I also printed the payoff quote for my reference. I called that day and another young lady advise me that my title and paid letter will be processed in 14 days. I waited about 18 days and called back and I was assured my title was mailed on 10/1. A few days later I received a collection call and its been a horrible experience since then. They said I still owe them after I made the payoff due to them transferring my loan from the old company. Long story short I talked to a bunch of managers and supervisors about me not owing them anything. They decided to offer to split the difference of what I owed, s after talking with my wife and spending too much time with this I agreed. The payment was made so I called today and talked to a young lady in the title department that says my title was mailed to me on 10/1.WHAT! Its 11/20 and I have not seen a title and she assured me that it was sent out. Now I was told by several managers and supervisor previously that it was not mailed. So the lady today said since the title was mailed and I haven't received it then she can send me a paid lien release to take to the DMV. I want my title, Ive been waiting on it since I originally paid the loan off in September. So now it seems my title is lost somewhere and they got away with not honoring a payoff that they provide via customer service and their online account system. I will never do business with them again. They did not honor a payoff that they provided and went in and added a balance after I paid the account off

American Credit Acceptance My car was repossessed from American credit acceptance corp

Thank you

American Credit Acceptance My vehicle is financed through the loan company American Credit Acceptance (ACA)

My vehicle is financed through the loan company American Credit Acceptance (ACA). I needed to cancel my postdated payment for my vehicle that was supposed to come out of my debit card Friday, April 10 because my husband was laid off due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we are experiencing great hardships financially at this time. Also, he applied for unemployment about a month ago, and still he has not received those unemployment wages. I needed to cancel that post-dated payment because the funds were not in there and it would have over-drafted my account, causing us to be responsible for the over-drafted amount and the overdraft fee of $35. I wanted to ask an ACA representative for an extension on making the payment. I tried calling American Credit Acceptance numerous times yesterday,Thursday 4/9, and realized that they had a pre-recorded message on every time I called their customer service number ***). When ACA answered my call(s) every time, it sounded like I had reached an ACA representative but I was tricked, and it was a pre-recorded message pretending to be a live representative. The recording started off saying the ACA representative, "Couldn't hear me on my end, and apologized if I could hear them. *** hoped I had a good day and suggested that I try calling back." Every time I called back, I got the same message, just a different ACA voice or representative. I want to also include that I called eight times total today, at all different times from morning until evening, but all during ACA's hours of operation. Due to ACA's negligence today, I was not able to get through to a representative at all, all day, and tried logging into my account online to try to cancel that post-dated payment, where I was told that my password was not correct (even though I had it written down because I am an organized person), and that i could "RESET" my password and they would send me a link to do so in my email. I tried that in the late afternoon, and never received the "RESET PASSWORD" email, but rather an email from ACA with information regarding how/if US citizens can qualify for the government stimulus check. I tried logging in again later in the evening, and was again told that my password was not correct, so they "would send me the link to reset my password," which ironically I received within 5 seconds in my email. I also know that after 3 PM any transactions made/requested do not get processed until the following business day. This was all just too convenient for ACA because I have NEVER had any issues getting in touch with ACA previously, and extremely inconvenient for my husband and me at this already incredibly difficult, stressful time financially and emotionally due to COVID-19 related hardships, and was very sneaky and unprofessional.

American Credit Acceptance I have been with the lender, American Credit Acceptance, aka, ACA, since 6/15

I have been with the lender, American Credit Acceptance, aka, ACA, since 6/15. I will admit, I have missed payments, however, I have always communicated with the company in a attempt to ALWAYS become current. I have been making payments since October 11 and more recently, on time payments since the beginning of this year, 2020. During the months of September -December , I was experiencing work related discriminatory concerns which effected my pay and mental well being. I explained the situation to ACA as to why I was going to be late with payments, however, I would do my best to become current and continue to stay in communication. Since the pandemic beginning February/March , I found it important to work on repairing/rebuilding my credit. I requested a copy of my credit report from all 3 credit bureaus, Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Once I received my credit reports in April , I noticed that ACA had not updated my credit reports since September/October and were reporting to TransUnion and Equifax 90 days late. I could not understand why they were reporting 90 days late and not reflecting any of my payments from January through March . Late April, on/around the 27th, I spoke with a supervisor, Brittney, who informed me that I was past due by over $3k and if I make 3 payments at once it would bring my account current. On April 28th, I paid a payment in a half of $1028.45 and on May 20th, I paid $1,059.56 another payment in a half. On May 22nd, I received a notification from ***, credit monitoring online tool, that American Credit Acceptance flagged my account as a charge off as of June 15, which is the date when I had purchased the vehicle. In addition to that, I sent a notarized, certified, "goodwill letter" to American Credit Acceptance dated April 28th with copies of receipts reflecting payments made from January-April, asking them to update my credit report to reflect on time payments. I also sent a notarized, certified, letter to TransUnion and Equifax to request a update on my payments reflecting September from American Credit Acceptance and copies of receipts reflecting payments made from January-April. During the week of May 17th I received a letter dated 5/6 from American Credit Acceptance, "Repossession Resumption Notice." This notice stated that my account remains delinquent and in default of our contract...although your vehicle is not currently assigned for repossession, we may assign your vehicle for repossession if your account delinquency continues without payment." I am reluctant to verbally communicate with the company because what they say over the phone is always different in writing. I received a copy of my credit report from TransUnion and Experian early June and noticed that American Credit Acceptance charged off the balance of $27000 and never sent anything to me certified in the mail nor did they update my report reflecting payments. Where did all my payments go? It is unfair that they are negatively reporting false information in order to hurt my and my ability to have good credit. Please assist me with direction and how to stop the bleeding. It is hurting me financially, mentally, my credit, and any future opportunity to receive a good interest rate on another vehicle. I am seeking correct reporting, reflect accurate history of ALL my payments, and a true/fair balance of what is owed and a apology for their actions when all I have done was stayed in communication, requested assistance even if it was a 3 month extension, showing grace, and to reconcile the remaining debt.

American Credit Acceptance 07/22/22 roughly June 10th 2022 was the date that I was misled and basically lied to about what a $800 payment I was making was going towards

07/22/22 roughly June 10th 2022 was the date that I was misled and basically lied to about what a $800 payment I was making was going towards June 10th 2022 I was in Weatherford Texas at the *** parking lot at that time I was walking to my vehicle as a tow truck got in front of my vehicle and lifted it up off the ground at that time I got inside my vehicle with my keys in my hand and set there until finally the tow truck driver come out to talk with me he informed me that my truck had been ordered by American Credit Acceptance to be repossessed for behind payments at that time I explained to the tow truck driver that I would get my account straightened out and balance cleared and out of repossession at that time I called American Credit Acceptance to make a payment to get truck out of repossession status while making this payment the tow truck driver had expressed while I was talking to the representative that he had possession of the truck because it was on his left I was speaking to the representative via speaker he heard it and then at that point in time the representative for American Credit Acceptance would no longer accept my payment for the vehicle to get it out of repossession I then requested to speak to another representative in order to get this matter cleared because I was inside of the vehicle he had not changed it down it was just on the left front tires only to get this resolved because I was going to be able to get my balance paid at that time I just had not made it the reason my truck was behind in the first place is December 7th of 2021 I had fallen and broken my back five vertebrae and six ribs and collapsed my lung left side and was unable to walk let alone work for nearly 4 months I had let American Credit Acceptance know this early on after the injury that I may get behind but I would get caught up as soon as I was able to get back to work and make payments if there was anything different I needed to do I implored them to please let me know so we didn't get to this point. So we're at this point the American Credit Acceptance representative would not take my payment told me I had to relinquish ownership or possession of the vehicle to the tow truck repossession company as I explained to them I was roughly $1,500 behind and would be able to pay that full amount right then and there they shoot me that the cost would not be too much more than that and I would have to make arrangements with them after the truck had made it to the repossession company's yard once that occurred I contacted American Credit Acceptance to find that Not only was it more than $1,500 to get my truck out of repossession now it was going to cost me $3,600 in order to get my truck back in my possession I explained to them at that time I did not have that amount of money and I did have the $1500 but that would be every penny I had and therefore I would need at least a couple weeks maybe a month in order to get the funds available to get my truck out of repossession I explained to them again that I had a critical injury and I was almost paralyzed in December and this is the whole reason I gotten behind and hope that they would work with me a little bit more than they did it is what it is apparently so I don't know well it took longer than I anticipated and it was harder to get all the necessary funds gathered up in order to get truck out of repossession so I had made several phone calls to American Credit Acceptance the reinstatement Department letting them know several times that I was actively getting funds to get truck out of repossession that please don't sell my vehicle I'm doing everything I can I will take possession of it I will get all the money to them as soon as possible July 22nd I called I had all funds accounted for of when I would be able to make full complete payments at this date I was making a $800 payment I spoke with the American Credit Acceptance representative explain to them the situation asking if my truck was still going to be available for me to get out of repossession the representative said yes that will not be an issue I said okay what's the total amount she said at this time the total amount was roughly $3,100 and 60 some odd dollars I let her know well as long as I'm able to get my vehicle I'm going to go ahead and make $800 payment towards this balance in order to gain possession of my truck and then I would be able to make the remainder 2600 payment within a week or so wasn't real sure I just knew I had the money was coming in and I would be able to get it within that amount of time she said no problem she didn't transferred me to their ivr payment system I've made $800 payment July 24th I called the reinstatement Department again just to verify that the total amount was going to be $2,600 and 50 some odd dollars or 60 some odd dollars and then verifying that my truck was still available the representative verified the amount and verified that my truck was still in their possession and I would be able to regain possession of it once I've completed the payment of $2,667 July 29th I called trying to get a hold of the reinstatement Department to make a payment of roughly $1,000 I was unable to get a hold of anybody and reinstatement Department I was on hold for roughly 2 hours and never was able to get in contact this is after speaking with a American Credit Acceptance representative that I was on hold for 45 minutes to speak with who's in transferred me to the other department which I was left on hold for that amount of time so Saturday I called again I finally was able to speak with a representative confirming that my truck was still available for pickup once payment was made in total at that time I said okay well I'll have the complete total amount I believe I told them Tuesday August the 2nd and that I would just wait and make the complete payment at that time for the 2600 in order to regain my truck checks did not clear my bank until August the 4th at I was told while trying to make the $2,600 payment that my truck was no longer available that it had been sold July 19th I explained to the representative well that's impossible because I've spoke to y'all four or five different times even making a payment towards this amount for $800 after that date and was told by your representative every time that my truck was still in y'all's position and I would be able to regain possession of it once total amount had been paid the lady tried to say that I I had been informed that my truck was no longer available for repossession and had been sold by the representative I explained to her I wouldn't have made the $800 payment unless it was towards the amount owed in order to regain repossession and I said I asked your representative every time I've called since before I made the $800 payment after and it was told the same information each time that my truck was still in their possession and I would be able to regain possession what's total amount was paid off for the repossession only reason I made the $800 payment was towards this explain that to the representative then she told me I was incorrect she even went so far to say that I made the payment before speaking to the representative on the 22nd which was a complete lie and I told her that was impossible because I made sure to speak with the representative first she finally somewhat recanted after doing a little bit more research and then also had said that yes I had been misinformed about whereabouts in my pickup and the bill availability in order to regain possession spoken with in the meantime with a debt consolidation company because I've gained a lot of debt that I'm having issues paying off after my injury and missing so much time at work they informed me that they would take balance due for the truck payment if I was unable to get it repented and it would be part of the debt consolidation agreement with them in order to help prevent my credit from being damaged anymore I explained this to the representative I would not have made the payment had I gotten the correct information because of the debt consolidation company was going to combine it with everything else and that was unnecessary I would need the $800 in order to buy new vehicle the representative explains to me sorry there's nothing I can do about it I told her I need to speak with the manager I spoke with the manager she tried to explain to me that I had been informed that my truck wasn't available and that I did know they had $100 was going towards the balance of what the loan was left after selling in my vehicle she put me on hold for 30 minutes came back to tell me she was sorry there was nothing she could do and that was it I asked her do y'all make it a habit of misinforming your customers taking payment on false pretenses she would not assist me in any form or fashion I believe this is unfair business practices I want my truck back and understand that if it's sold it sold but bare minimum need my $800 back that I made payment for it's been three and a half weeks since my truck has been sold and I just found out today and I've been without a vehicle this whole time I would have been looking and made arrangements to purchase a new vehicle this time by now instead I have to start this process three and a half weeks of being without a vehicle it's also hurt me financially it's hurt my relationship with my wife she's filed for divorce during this time because of my incompetence and I understand but I was misinformed by the Creditor company I don't know what other questions I could have asked besides my truck still available for me to read the game possession of it once total amount is paid and I've asked the same question five different times to five different representatives and got the same answer up until today when I'm making my final payment please any help in getting this resolved would be greatly appreciated
