I had spoke with a rep from this company and upon further research I found out that they have an LLC but nobody in the company is a licensed broker. I also researched further and they also are not bonded. This one sales rep I spoke to was Brandon Stromburg (which he talks a big "sales pitch") and he ensured me that he would "guarantee" results. I asked if he was licensed in my state and he said he was. Come to find out AMERICAN ASSISTANCE BUREAU is not licensed in any state and it is against the law to do business if you are not. I'm glad I did my research because this seems to be another company that will take your money and run. I would be very careful of AMERICAN ASSISTANCE BUREAU.
I agree. I came in to work on May 24, 2011 and was told company was closing. Larry Smith issued me a Company check and guess what, it bounced. Everything that has been told about Anthony Marsh and Larry Smith is true. They are TWO BIG SCAMS.

Jackson Federal, American Assistance Bureau and US Home assistance Bureau are all the same people. Larry Smith ran Jackson Federal w/ Dan Chasse. Anthony Marsh ran American Assistance Bureau until he got some heat on him and changed the name to US Home assistance Bureau . US Home assistance Bureau is still up and running but w/ the DIY program they are selling they make you believe that they are in your corner until you need help. They took my money and I can not get in touch w/ them. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, State Atty Office and the local police. I WOULD NOT EVEN IF IT WAS FOR FREE DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

It is my understanding that the owner of this American Assistance Bureau, Anthony Marsh, is now "partnered" with Larry Smith. Mr Smith is the previous owner of Jackson Federal Foreclosure Relief. Rumor has it that the company (Jackson Federal) shut down owing clients over $40, 000 in unpaid refunds with several lawsuits pending. Anthony Marsh of American Assistance Bureau never paid a single employee and in the four months it was "open". I believe they are now operating under the name U. S. Assistance Bureau LLC. Fell free to go to www.Sunbiz.org and look for yourself. The address for both American Assistance Bureau and U.S. Assistance Bureau are the same. Just search for Marsh, Anthony in the records. For kicks please read the descriptions on the type of service they offer. I would highly recommend AGAINST giving these people your money. The contracts are written to protect them and there is nothing they can do that you cannot do yourself working with your mortgage company. If you lose your home your only recourse is to file a complaint with the State Attorney's office. If you are still insisting on using a third party to assist you in saving your home please do your research.
The owner Anthony Marsh scammed clients and all the employees. He never paid one single paycheck to any employee of the company. That is why the entire staff left and all the bills have not been paid. It is the reason all your emails and calls have been unsuccessful. American Assistance Bureau is a SCAM! I paid the $2500 and they did NOTHING - now I can't even contact them on the telephone - all numbers are a no tone and they don't respond to my emails. Basically they took my money and RAN. I thought I had done my research with this company but they have turned out to be a total scam. I understand that you may be desperate (As I was) to get a modified loan or at least some help negoiating with your bank - but STAY AWAY from this company!
Anthony Marsh can you explain why you havent paid your employees? but you receieved a 6 figure settlement but your employees worked for 2 months with the promise of paychecks... explain this please?.. if you dont respond I figure you are a coward. My name is Anthony Marsh and I own American Assistance Bureau. The reason I am going to take time out of my busy day is because the comment on this web site that was brought to my attention. First of all I know it was made by another company in Jacksonville FL that had to buy there way from F Status to A Status last month on BBB mostly because there incompetent coke head manager that pretends to run the company...In stead he has run off 80% of the employee's because they do not want to be around a trash company. The owner sits in his office all day and try's to figure out how to stay off F status with BBB and also try's to figure out how not to give customers money back. Who ever placed comment would have my personal cell phone because I make sure every customer has my cell number. That is because I do care about my customers. So give me a call other company lets not make this personal, oh and I would not go throwing this license thing around I am in accordance with all law's and I did do some checking on you folks and I'm sure you have heard the old saying mess with fire and you get burned...
