Last year I was dealing with theft incidents at my home where me and my four-year-old daughter reside so I looked into getting home security and I called aDT they came and we’re supposed to install the cameras that I had talked about over the phone but this guy was very unprofessional and he refused to install regular wireless or wired on my property at all but instead insisted and said that I had to get the Google doorbells only did not hardwire them in so the battery dies every day and a half, and he completely ignored when I asked him questions, and why I was not getting what I had talked about hethen put up a camera in my garage, which is very low. I could reach it from just standing there he fake hardwired this into an outlet. then put up a camera in my garage which is very low. I could reach it from just standing there. He fake hardwired this into an outlet but come to find out it was a completely wireless camera that only needed charged like every three months. He plugged it in right in the entrance of my garage. It’s like this guy was trying to set me up but anyways so about three days later I’m having issues that my Google account was accessed and this guy had given me his business card and told me to get a hold of him with any other questions because it’s just easier to call and have him come by. They actually call the company I thought that was really weird and when I got a hold of him he didn’t even answer any messages and I called the company, the company did nothing about this. They ignored the fact that they have somebody working for them that did not provide anything. The customer asked for he signed for things that I did not want. I never signed saying I agreed to any of the devices he installed. He also asked for my Google password Which I did not give to him, but he did create his own user pin number on the control panel. This system constantly was in and out, never stored footage and he told me that the first seven days it would not be recording or saving as a trial to get to know the system, which I later was told by an ATT representative that that is an option that they give you, but you do not have to opt in to that but again Zach gave me no choice and did whatever he wanted. I called aDT almost every day for months asking them to cancel my service my house once again got into bye I’m assuming the same in individuals but I wouldn’t know because my footage was unavailable and alarms were getting constantly shut off without me doing anything. I had to change my Google password and do security questions daily aDT still doesn’t want to cancel my contract and I told them I did not want any of those service anymore, so for the past roughly 10 months q now every month and they are increasing at this point it is almost 5000 $ over $2000 is just in cancellation fees and I have no idea about the rest. I’ve never actually got to use their service from the start of it on June 28, 2023. It is now February 3, 2024 and they are still billing me and I have not use their service in this long. I am not going to pay them I cannot really afford a lawyer at this time and this company is completely garbage. They don’t respect their customers wishes they are not considerate and they are fraudulent. They don’t try to resolve anything with you on the phone they act like they don’t hear you and they all have a different way of explaining their contracts and services like absolutely 100% different. Some told me that.

ADT does not even monitor or have any way to access monitoring on your home security system isn’t this the point of having aDT if that wasn’t the point of having a home security system provider I would just have bought these items at Best Buy and it would’ve been a lot cheaper because All I ended up with was two Google doorbells that die every other day because they aren’t hired wired in they don’t save footage because they are only battery operated so the most they save is for three hours because they are not hardware and isn’t that what aDT is for when they come to install cameras not just hand you doorbell with a battery and call it good this is a I will never pay them their money if all else fails to resolve this since they just don’t care about getting bad reviews and treating their customers like crap and in my eyes it’s absolutely stealing because they are billing you for things that you never signed for or had and or that they didn’t do this company is absolute garbage highly recommend just setting up home security on your own can’t imagine any other companies probably any better, but anything is better than this company absolutely the worstcompany I’ve ever dealt with my entire life. They’ve caused me nothing but hell and I really hope that they resolve this because I wanted to cancel from day three and I still was unable to. They never came to get their equipment and they still bill me absolutely ridiculous. This company should be shut down.
