I gotta say, I had a pretty great experience with Abt. I was looking to upgrade my kitchen and needed some new appliances, so I decided to give them a try. Let me tell you, from the moment I clicked "purchase" on their website, everything went super smoothly.

First off, their customer service is top-notch. I had a few questions before I made my purchase, and their online chat was super helpful. They answered all my questions and made me feel confident in my decision. Then, after I made my purchase, they kept me updated every step of the way. I got emails and phone calls letting me know when my items were shipped and when they would arrive. And on the day of delivery, they even sent me automated text messages to let me know when my delivery was on its way. It was so easy!

Now, I will admit that I'm not the best at spelling and grammar, so I did notice a few errors in their emails and texts. But honestly, it didn't bother me at all. I could still understand what they were saying, and that's all that really matters, right?

Anyway, I was really impressed with the quality of the products I received. I had done some research beforehand, and Abt had some of the best prices for the brands I was looking for. And let me tell you, the products themselves did not disappoint. They were exactly what I was looking for, and they work great.

All in all, I would definitely recommend Abt to anyone looking for new appliances. Their customer service is amazing, their prices are great, and their products are top-notch. I'm so glad I chose them for my kitchen upgrade!

I gotta say, Abt is not the best company out there. I had a real bad experience with them when I returned a microwave that was busted. I sent it back and even got confirmation from UPS that the store signed for it, but now Monica and Kal are saying they never got it. It's been like three whole months and they still won't give me my money back! And to top it off, they're both super rude on the phone. Monica even yelled at me and hung up on me more than once, which is just not cool. And Kal, who's supposed to be the big boss, is a real piece of work. He knows they got the microwave back, but he still won't give me my money and just told me "it's your problem!" Like, what kind of customer service is that? Abt really needs to get rid of these two and stop letting them treat people like garbage.

Now, let me tell you about my original experience. I was looking for a product and saw that Abt had it listed for sale. The website said it was in stock, and I even double-checked with their live chat to make sure. So, I went ahead and ordered it right away. But then, my order got put in backordered status. And then, they hit me with the news that they never actually had the product in the first place. Talk about a major bummer, right?

But, like I said, Abt's customer service team really stepped up and made things right. And that's what counts in my book. So, even though I had a rough start with them, I'm willing to give them another shot. And I think you should too.

The peeps at Abt were pretty cool. We copped a Kitchen Aid side by side with a bottom freezer. We had to call the service dudes 3 times in the first 6 months for the ice maker, and they ended up replacing it. It's all good now, but sometimes I gotta manually dump the ice. Then, about 6 months later, the unit leaked water all over our kitchen oak floors and warped the wood. The service guys came out and found that a little rubber valve had melted closed, causing the water to drain wrong. The dude said they knew about this issue for a hot minute, but Kitchen Aid or Abt never told us. I was like, "What's up with that?" and he didn't know. I had to file a claim with Abt, who sent me to Kitchen Aid, and now I'm jumping through hoops. I suggest you get an extended warranty, fam. I'm giving them two stars because they didn't hit us up about the problem.

ABT's online ordering system needs some serious improvement. It can be a frustrating and time-consuming experience. I recently purchased a gift for someone and had it shipped to a different address. However, ABT's fraud system automatically cancelled my order and marked it as fraudulent. I received an email notifying me of the cancellation and was instructed to call their customer service line. Unfortunately, when I called, I was sent straight to voicemail. To make matters worse, the item I had purchased as a gift had sold out by the time I was able to get in touch with someone at ABT.

It seems like a simple solution to this problem would be to call the customer to confirm the order instead of automatically cancelling it. I understand that fraud prevention is important, but this is basic customer service. I recently updated my kitchen and decided to purchase all my appliances from ABT. I was excited to have high-end appliances such as a refrigerator, built-in oven stove top, oven range, microwave, and dishwasher. To make matters worse, my Thermador oven stopped working after I used the self-clean option. I had to call a technician to replace the motherboard, but unfortunately, they left without fixing the oven. Now, I have to wait for at least another week before someone else can come out to fix it.

I spoke to two customer service representatives and a technician, and they all advised me not to use the self-clean mode on the oven because "this sort of thing happens." I was shocked and disappointed that a sales rep would sell me an oven with a faulty self-clean mode. I expected better from ABT.

Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. My mother had a similar experience with her washing machine, having to replace it three times in one month. This is unacceptable and appalling.

I have heard poor feedback about ABT in the past year, but now I have experienced it firsthand. I am extremely disappointed and will never purchase another item from ABT again.

I've been buying my appliances from Abt for a good 30 years now. I've never had a problem with any of the appliances I've purchased from them, including my subzero refrigerator. However, 13 years ago, I bought two dishwashers from them for a total of $3000. Unfortunately, they never worked well. I had to call Abt's service people multiple times, but they told me that this was how modern dishwashers worked since there were no longer phosphates in the dishwasher detergent. So, I just used them as dish racks.

Recently, I had my kitchen redone, and the dishwashers had to be removed temporarily. The contractor who was working on my kitchen told me that the dishwashers had been installed improperly. The contractor's plumber reinstalled them, and it was a miracle - they worked! I had several conversations with the store's general manager, but he said that it was too long since the installation, and I had no photographic proof for what I said. Eventually, he agreed to reimburse me for the cost of the installation, which was $300, but he wanted to pay me with an Abt gift card, which I refused. I had asked for the cost of the reinstallation, which was about $700, but the manager refused.

After being a loyal customer and spending tens of thousands of dollars at Abt, I will never go back. They do not stand behind their work, and that's just not acceptable. I'm disappointed that they wouldn't take responsibility for their mistake, especially since I've been a loyal customer for so long. I understand that mistakes happen, but it's how a company handles those mistakes that really matters. Unfortunately, Abt didn't handle this situation well, and I can't trust them anymore.

We bought a fancy Frigidaire fridge from Abt in January 2021. We even got the extended warranty, thinking we were being smart. But boy, were we wrong. Within a few months, we started having all sorts of problems with the fridge. The worst part is that the fridge is actually working like a freezer! All of our food that should be refrigerated is frozen solid. We've had to throw away so much food, it's ridiculous. And that's not all. We've had technicians come out to look at the fridge multiple times, but they never have the right part to fix the problem. Or they order the wrong part and have to come back another day. It's been months and we still don't have a working fridge. We first reported the issues in December, but it's almost the end of May and we're still waiting for a fix. We've had enough. We've asked Abt to replace the fridge, but apparently there's some strict process with Frigidaire where they have to try to fix it first. It's a total lemon, but we're stuck with it until Frigidaire decides to replace it.

Abt is supposed to be the biggest appliance retailer in the US, with billions of dollars in revenue. You'd think they'd have some clout with Frigidaire and be able to help us out. But nope, their hands are tied. They won't do anything to help us. It's a load of BS. If they were a decent company, they'd take the fridge back, donate it to charity, and give us a new one ASAP. But no, they won't do anything.

So, if you're thinking of buying anything made by Frigidaire, don't. And if you're thinking of buying from Abt, make sure you ask them what they'll do if you have problems with your purchase. Get the extended warranty and make sure they know you won't put up with any nonsense. And if they don't help you, call your state's Consumer Protection Bureau and report them. That's what we're going to do next.
