Terrible communication with our loan officer at A1 Mortgage Group. Several unanswered questions and emails. We had to get a supervisor involved just to get a response. We had to wait a week and a half after closing for funds to pay off other lenders. This was our 3rd refinance in 15 years with A1 Mortgage Group and will certainly be our last.

The first day I responded to the correspondence the ball was rolling ...I had a previous bad experience with a refi and it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Worked with A1 Mortgage Group on a re-finance of our mortgage. A few things stood out to me:1) The representative from A1 Mortgage Group was willing to run calculations for multiple different scenarios to help our family decide what was the best path. He also was willing to update these to match current market trends and give us advice on timing opportunities.2) The representative from A1 Mortgage Group came out to our house (1hr+ drive for him) to help with some paperwork items that came up in the closing / notary process. Seems like the kind of guy where a personal touch is important to him and he's willing to take the time get things all situated.3) Overall, it was a fast and clear process!

A1 Mortgage Group, LLC -- A1 Mortgage Group, LLC I recently had the pleasure of working with John Smith who is a Sr. Loan Officer. What can I say... John is just fabulous! He assisted me / walked me through all of the necessary steps to re-finance my property in Virginia. Though located in Kansas City, he is licensed to do business in many states. Transitioning from an FHA to a Conventional loan took a lot of work and without his help, I may have given up. He followed through with everything he said he would and always returned my calls and texts quickly. He managed to smooth out any hiccups along the way (as are to be expected in many re-fi's and mine was an especially complicated one). Honestly, if I could rate higher than 5 stars for both John as well as A1 Mortgage Group, I would! If you are looking to refinance your property, John is your guy! CALL him and you will get straight answers. He is down-to-earth, genuine, friendly, extremely knowledgeable as well as patient throughout the entire process beginning to CTC.
