I gotta say, my experience with 1A Auto was not a good one. I ordered a part last Thursday and was expecting it to arrive by Monday. But boy was I wrong! On Monday, I received a message on my answering machine saying that the part was out of stock. I was so frustrated! I mean, why would they let me order something that they didn't even have in stock? So I called them back to see what my options were. They told me that there was an error and that they actually did have the part in stock. They also said that they would expedite the shipping and that I would receive the part by Thursday.

But then, on Wednesday afternoon, they called me again to say that they didn't actually have the part in stock and that it wouldn't be available for another 2 months! Can you believe it? And to make matters worse, I checked their website while I was on the phone with them and it said that the part was in stock and ready to ship the next day. I mean, what kind of scam is this?

I had my vehicle at the shop and it was inoperable without the part. This was by far the most difficult time I have had dealing with any auto parts company. I would not recommend shopping here. The price may be cheap, but it's not worth the hassle. They seem more like a scam than anything else. I would suggest paying the extra 10 or 20 bucks and going somewhere else where you know your parts will arrive when you need them.

They did tell me that their system can take up to 48 hours to know if a part is on backorder, but that's just ridiculous. They're liars and they can't even offer next day delivery even if you order before 4pm. So, save yourself the time and money and don't shop here.

I recently purchased two rubber door weather stripping from 1A Auto for my truck. Upon receiving the package, I eagerly opened it up and began installing the weather stripping on my driver's front and extended cab door. The fit was perfect and I was pleased with the product.

However, when I moved on to installing the second weather stripping on the passenger front and extended cab door, I quickly realized that it was about three feet short. I was confused and frustrated, as I had ordered two identical weather stripping and didn't understand why one would be so drastically different.

I contacted 1A Auto and spoke with a woman who informed me that I had actually ordered the weather stripping for a three door truck, which was news to me as I didn't even know they made a three door truck in the year of my vehicle. She argued with me for a bit, claiming that they didn't make a rubber weather stripping for an extended cab truck, but I knew that I had ordered one from them and installed it successfully.

After some research, she finally admitted that they did make the weather stripping for my truck and I was able to purchase the correct one to finish my project. However, I was disappointed that she didn't offer me any sort of discount or paid postage for the error that had been made. I had to have the correct weather stripping as the old one had already been removed and the incorrect one was currently installed.

Overall, while I was pleased with the product itself, I was disappointed with the customer service I received from 1A Auto. I feel that they could have handled the situation better and offered me some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. As a result, I will likely not be ordering from them again in the future.

I've been working as a mechanic for over three decades now, and I recently purchased two hub assemblies for my 2016 Highlander from 1AAuto's website. The website showed that there were two available, so I bought one. However, when the package arrived, I was disappointed to see that the box was badly damaged. Despite this, I decided to install the parts and see how they worked.

Unfortunately, when I started my car, I got multiple bad sensor codes. I was worried that the parts might be defective, so I decided to email the website for assistance. However, the response I received was not what I was hoping for. The customer service representative told me that the parts I had purchased were not compatible with my vehicle, and that this was most likely the reason I was receiving the codes. They also informed me that they did not carry parts that were compatible with my vehicle, and suggested that I use Partsgeek for my auto parts needs.

To make matters worse, the customer service representative also told me that since the parts were not compatible with my vehicle, their warranty was void. They said that they would be unable to send a replacement order, and that in order to receive a refund, the returned item must be in new, uninstalled condition. Since I had already installed the parts, I was not eligible for a refund. This meant that I was out $150 and still needed to buy another part for my vehicle.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with 1AAuto. Their return/refund policy was not helpful at all, and their customer service was rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend buying anything from them, as they do not seem to care about their customers or their needs.
