I had been looking for months for a puppy to join my family and had been through hard times when we agreed and found the puppy that we fell in love with at first glance! We discussed that the puppy was extremely healthy and UTD on all shots/wormings and health records at the age of 4 months old with no issues what so ever.
... Therefore I agreed to meet Karen Wilson and this puppy based on the terms and conditions that were agreed upon. (The puppys "Sale Fee" was $650.00).
We met and I fell in love with this puppy she told me she would bathe him before we met and I agreed. WELL, she showed up with the puppy almost 45 minutes LATER than the agreed time while I sat waiting for her as I texted and called with no answer!
FINALLY she showed up, she asked me to speak with her a little and handed the puppy to me, I immediately was overwhelmed by this dingy grimey STINKY almost ROTTEN stale smell which was this puppy! (She told me she bathed the puppy and that's why it took so long) but this smell was so OVERWHELMING, it was not just the rotten smell that got to me..she DOUSED this poor puppy in purfume too, to cover the sick smell it was covered in! As if the smell wasn't enough this dog was COVERED in FLEAS! I was picking them off of me while holding the pup! (I agreed to take the puppy - because I was NOT giving it back for her to take home and throw back into the pile of dogs for sale)!
She asked me maybe 20 times if I liked the dog, of course the puppy was a cutie who needed a loving home and I was looking for a forever companion! Karen stated that the pup had all of its shots and was completely UTD and constantly reminded me that the puppy didn't need to see a vet until the 1 year for a Rabies Vaccine (Booster) Shot. I agreed thinking, "Hey, the puppy is UTD, looks healthy (Covered in fleas and smells-but healthy looking) and I trust this lady she seems genuine", BUT WAS I WRONG!
We chatted for days upon meeting as if we were old friends she even stated; "We had a fire at our house and she could not let me come to pickup the puppy because she was overwhelmed with everything and she had animal control there **Due to the fact she offers breed rescue as well** so I felt kinda sad for this lady. She also stated that she was going to keep this puppy for BREEDING PURPOSES only, but due to this "FIRE" she had she needed it gone asap. So she just signed over breeding rights to me...with no care or emotion on her part. She also told me that this dog was a larger bred chihuahua (Knowing AKC Standards *LARGER BRED* means 6-8lbs MAX) She FAILED to mention this pup would reach 15 pounds at 9 MONTHS OLD! - Another lie
((Her Vet West-Wilke out of Tacoma, WA gives these dogs and puppies an A+ on healthy /wellness when they are NOT and are deemed DEAF!))
I got this puppy home and it was COMPLETELY FERAL! This puppy wouldn't come to me, it urinated in my home (After explaining it was fully house broken for outside) on my couch, bed and floors as well as fecaled on my flooring, bed, and on my coffee table! It would climb up on all of the furnature, on the coffee table, my dining room table, and even make a nice wizz stain on my pillows all at 4 months old! Chewed my clothing, shoes and expensive items (I understand chewing is normal-but not like that). This dog took until 6 months old to train and recondition it to make it a family companion!
Karen and I even spoke after the pickup date of the puppy for 48 hours. On the third day I noticed the dog would not wake up; I stomped, clapped, and basically frantically screamed at this poor puppy to the it to wake up! With no response I grabbed my phone and took a video of me doing this over and over to make sure I wasn't crazy! Sure enough the puppy did not wake up after 3 minutes of doing this! It took me having to touch the puppy to wake it up, the pup JUMPED up as if I scared the living daylights out of it!
I emailed, text messaged, and called Karen Wilson the breeder and told her what I had experienced as well as sent a video. She insisted on ignoring my every call, text and email..to no avail I told her I wanted my money back because the dog was deaf, this was NOT discussed prior to taking it! This dog is not partually deaf, it is 100% completely deaf and I fear is having a vision problem as of now! We will be having the vision checked as well now too! I told her this but she did not reply, her number has NOT changed and she continues to post new puppy ads for the dogs shhe is CARELESSLY BREEDING OUT OF CONTROL! NOT TO MENTION THAT SHE SIGNS OVER BREEDING RIGHTS TO EVERY PUPPY SOLD! CARELESS!
It has been months (5 months) of me messaging her in every way possible to get into contact with her about this dog! She scammed me out of $650.00 for a DEAF animal! If I had known or had any clue this dog was deaf I probably would not have done the deal, but since I have owned the dog since 4 months old (Now 9 months) I wouldn't trade this puppy for anything! I am not the only person she has done this too either! I was in contact with a few people who said she has done this to them and their animals as well, not only deafness but also serious Congenital defects that have affected their animal (s) and the rest of their lives!
**The worst part is that she knew this pup was completely deaf, she wanted to use it for breeding and found out after owning the puppy for months (Birth till 4 months) was not going to happen. 4 Months is PLENTLY long enough to figure this out - I found out after 48 hours! She also LIED to my face that this sweet puppy would NOT reach over 8lbs max, hes 9 months and still growing. These dogs are far from cared for.**
I am beyond upset that this SO CALLED AKC BREEDER can LIE and cheat her way into scamming people out of their hard earned money! Not only stealing money from people but putting the lives of these innocent dogs that she is breeding on the line to make a quick dollar! This is NOT what "REAL" GENUINE AKC BREEDERS DO!

WELL, even after all I have been through I love my dog more than life itself. I want EVERYONE to know what a scam artist she is and how unjust she really is with peoples money and the care of these poor animals she is CARELESSLY BACKYARD BREEDING! NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE PAIN I HAVE. TO EVEN ENDOUR THE STRESS AND SADNESS I HAVE WATCHING THIS PUPPY LEARN AS IT GOES> THIS BABY HAS COME SO FAR WITH TRAINING AND IS EXCEPTIONALLY SMART AND I REALLY HOPE IT BIT HER IN THE A*S THIS TIME!
Hmm well the sad thing is Karen has done this to multiple people and I have about 14 inbox messages stating they got SERIOUSLY badly bred dogs from her as well. ALSO maybe you should look at the attached photos because that's my CONTRACT with her, and if you didn't get that same one sorry she changed it up. This lady is absolutely freaking NUTS! She's scatter brained, drugged and a complete IDIOT to the breeding world! - Multiple people agree!

No one stated the dog was leaving my care, in fact I still own this dog to this day at 9 months old. He has also been completely trained as well. The SAD thing is that's not that worst part I didn't even post all the info that was needed I truly believe..I tried to keep it pretty classy and professional. But here we go now.
The dog came to me INFESTED with fleas, she told me she bathed him...and was 45 minutes LATE. The dog smelt like DEATH and SICKNESS! She decided it was okay to COVER him with perfume as well. It was actually 3 days after I brought him home that I noticed he was DEAF I just checked my phone and messages to be sure.
She also stated she had a "Fire" at her home and she was moving as well and was also trying to downsize as she offers "Breed Rescue" as well (WHICH IM REPORTING HER TO THE HUMANE SOCIETY TOO) that is why he needed to be rehomed asap.
The dog came to me COMPLETELY FERAL, would NOT come to me, CLIMBED ONTO ALL MY TABLES (COFFEE AND DINNER TABLE) WALKED ALL OVER HELL AND URINATED AND FECALED ALL OVER THE PLACE (INCLUDED MY BED, COFFEE TABLE, AND THE FLOORS) after stating he was 100% POTTY TRAINED! Of course I told her he was a good boy I felt kinda sad for this lady as to how nuts she really was! I have witnesses as to what this dog has done the DAY he came home!

I did NOT get a second puppy. My mother did and GAVE THAT HORRIDLY BRED DOG AWAY A MONTH LATER! EVEN OUR VET SAID SHES A BAD BREEDER! Hmm, Kinda weird how many people I know that have agreed with me let alone the 12 people in my inbox on here too!

She asked me over and over again if i was sure I wanted him (BECAUSE SHE KNEW HE WAS DEAF) my vet also stated that if she owned this dog for the 4 months she had him she forsure knew he was a deaf! THATS WHY SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS GOING TO USE HIM FOR BREEDING BUT DECIDED NOT TO! - BECAUSE HE WAS DEAF AND DEEMED USELESS TO LITTLE MISS KAREN WILSON!

Like I stated above : The dog was in my name as a present for my mother, but the dog was NOT mine. It was hers and she chose that the dog was not a good dog and she gave him away which was HER choice not mine. I don't really care. She's a grown woman.
I don't need to state my vets name nor will I, she has nothing to do with this. Plus like I said before Karen puts her own name out there on cards for people and in all of the ads that im guessing YOU'RE THE ONE WHO WRITES THEM? Its freedom of speech, she publicly lists her name and her kennel name for everyone to see as well as her ads. My vets name will not be posted because I wont do that to he or she.
Also, the dog was bought for a present for my mom and we surprised her with him. But as stated as a "GIFT" she gave it away later due to him pissing and ### on everything as well as climbing up on everything and growling AT my 11 year old brother and constantly chewing and tearing things up in the home. Which she also stated "He is good with children. raised with children"! --my ###.
ONCE AGAIN KAREN LIED, my mom is a witness to the statement "I just had a fire and I need to downsize my rescue and my kennel, " "I was going to breed Baby but I need to downsize so he will make a WONDERFUL stud".

okay I am not arguing any longer with this because I think it is completely stupid. She's offering the dogs under her name which she's also stating the dogs are hers...that she breeds them... as for the kid this she told us he was very young and living in the home then stated he lived with his dad. BUT i'm not going to start a fight and that is what I was told.
I just want everyone to see where i'm coming from because she did lie to me and sold me a dog she knew had something wrong which is the issue here. I have made many attemps in all three ways to contact her...even to this day I have. She will not answer me because she knows. I don't want to fight with her either...I was an apology and her to tell me she knew what I stated is true.

Like I said I have everything to back me up, she does not. She's had PLENTY of chances to contact me back but chose not to..I guess her breeding is inaccurate and she's breedings for the money not for the love of each breed. She's a mass breeder. Thats called a backyard breeder AKC or not.

I also just got into contact with people who have bought her English Bulldogs and have had NOTHING good to say about her either! They paid 2500.00, well guess what their vet also stated these dogs come from bad quality parents, , so the STATEMENT "QUALITY AKC CHAMPION SIRED" goes right out the window and is also considered "FALSE ADVERTISING"! They have paid out over $10, 000.00 in surgery this puppy needed !

She is the WORST breeder EVER SHE NOW IS BREEDING AND SELLING NASTY QUALITY BOSTON TERRIERS CLAIMING THEY ARE SHOW QUALITY> We have friends who got two bulldogs who have spent thousands in vet bills because their dogs were ### quality!
This breeder is absolutely horrid and a lying wench. I have dedicated my time into flagging all of her ads and telling EVERYONE the story because shes a liar and a thief! PLUS her dogs are NOT of quality what so ever! She irresponsible and MANY REAL breeders agree with me.

To be VERY clear with you, my dog has been tested by there vets and deemed breedable. If I so much as chose to breed my dog that is my choice.. not to MEMENTMENTION KAREN W. Not only that but you are that much of an idiot that you are so concerned with what I do you stalk me? LOLOL lady I know who you are and I also know that the posting you are trying to post in multiple places in NOT my ad. Makes you look like an idiot.
Also Karen is post I litters EVERYWHERE and I have kept record of every single ad! And will be going to AKC again with all of them. Plus all of the documents from my vet as well as all the others who have gotten sic dogs from her that also supplied me with proof and medics documents.

"As a breeder and owning the dog from birth to 4 months of age there is NO way she didn't know he was deaf. She would have had to be a complete ###". "Not only that but responsible and reliable dog breeders have vet checked done at 8 weeks of age by a quality licensed professional to be sure of no defect is detected". I am hurt she stole my hard earned things from me knowingly he was deaf with no mention of it. Thats all! Not to MENTION taking advantage of me having some serious medical condition that causes cancer. She did everything with the intention of screwing me over. She didnt even bat an eye at the fact she knew she was in the wrong.

My dog is MY dog and you are MORE than welcome to look over all of his OFA certification papers and his akc papers and also check him yourself. He came from an excellent breeder who eill back me up. I have tried to contact karen MULTIPLE times ive text, email AND phone. She will not answer shes terrified I will put her in her place over her little scam she pulled. If it really meant that much for me to get my money back id make sure I did by going to small claims court, I didn't because I would rather have a dog in my home that is atleast loved and cared for rather than with a careless breeder who ruined him and sold him with breeding rights...knowing he had issues. My darling 9 year old Iggy was from Karen. We went to her home. It was clean and lots of pups yes. Iggy was clean and took to us right away. We had brought our dogs to meet Iggy. She also handed us a newborn which we nearly forgot we had. She bathed band dried Iggy we met the mom. Dad was out in the barn. Being as it was Washington it was too muddy to walk out there.. I see a couple more contradictions with this persons complaint...You said it was 3 days after you got the puppy that you noticed the dog was deaf...You said you tried to contact the breeder and she never would answer your calls, texts, or emails...But then you say you got another puppy from her about a month later for your mom so for you to do that, you obviously in fact were in contact with her...The other contradiction which is the biggest one of all is the fact that you're complaining that she sold you a deaf dog and ripped you off yet you say you BOUGHT ANOTHER puppy from her a month later for your mom as a surprise! You even defend this by saying the reason the 2nd pup was in your name was because you bought it as a surprise for your mom! Go back and read it, it's what you said right here for all of us to see. Hahahahaha! This just blows all your credibility right out of the water lady! Because NOBODY is going to buy a 2nd pup from a breeder they feel ripped them off by selling them a deaf and potentially going blind dog and also say the breeder ignored them when they tried to contact them about it! If you haven't been able to get into contact with Karen through phone, text, or email, then why didn't you ever just go to her house? You have her address, it's on the contract she gave you and you even said in a comment earlier that her address is the same so you know exactly where to find her...If a breeder sold me a deaf dog and wouldn't reply to my calls, texts, or emails I sure would go knock on their door! By you not doing this, it absolutely makes no sense at all. And also the fact you've placed ads to breed this so called deaf dog...You're credibility is shot in my opinion. And it's very funny that you post her contract and ads yet you haven't posted one single report from your vet confirming that the dog is indeed deaf. It is on you to provide the burden of proof and since you don't have it, well then it doesn't exist. You gave some bs excuse why you don't want to post your vets info out there...Okay fine, block out the vet's name and just post the report from the clinic if it's that much of a problem which it shouldn't be if everything is 100% true from your end. I have known Karen for a few yrs now. She takes excellent care of her dogs. I have purchased two English Bulldogs from her. I have never had any issues. My dogs are show quality. Any time that I have had questions or concerns I have been able to contact her and she has always been able to an help. I had no problems getting the papers for my dogs and they are real. If I was to get another dog, I would come back to her.
I have purchased a dog from Karen Wilson. Not only was the dog i purchased not a neo, it had fake papers to boot. When he reached about 1yr old, he began having seizures episodes. Absolute worst case scenario and eventually his heart gave out at 6. After talking to others in the neapolitan scene, i found out karen is a bait a switcher and not well thought of amongst other breeders.
The lab pups belong to c. Anderson, her name is under the labs picture.and not raised on Wrinkle Acres.as far as personally doing dog rescue ( my mistake) she offers it but has never had to do it..And she does have a son that is 14 now..
Karen does not and has never done breed rescue...the fire that took her original kennel was 7 years ago this Christmas a matter of public record. fire dept and police dept...also your mom's name is not on the purchase of the second puppy, yours is.Who is your Vet? because of your slander our Lawyers would like to speak to him or her..You named Karen's vet, why not name yours...? We also have all of your texts and messages, she is not a nut and not a druggy ...

Karen does not raise chocolate labs and she is not a backyard breeder, if she was she would have been shut down years ago...the girl complaining is what 22 years old..unemployed and has nothing better to do with her time than to try to ruin a business that has thrived for years...I doubt that Summer's puppy weighs 15 pounds..and she keeps changing her complaint letter...Karen's puppies and dogs are well taken care of, I have been there many times and the kennels are very clean and they do not smell..Summer didn't have the money for the puppy so yes a tablet was taken in trade as specified in the bill of sale..

I called her about your blasting rant on here and she said you were in contact with her for months talking about going to the Casino and how much you loved your puppy with no mention of health issues then all the sudden you start your mentally questionable quest against her after 6 or 7 weeks of having the pup. I have visited your facebook page which shows pictures of a happy dressed up puppy looking into a pop can, not a feral beast. Have you ever owned a puppy before? Pooping and Peeing everywhere is what they do and Chihuahuas are extremely shy, especially when traumatized by relocation. Vets don't do hearing checks at well puppy exams neither for you OR for Karen. If the puppy is deaf, bring it back to her, she will take the dog and give your tablet back NOT $650. That is not what you paid...Oh and by the way...make sure you bring proof of that health exam that you were required to get within 72 hours!
Shame on you, she is a nice person and a very conscientious breeder and if anyone is really interested in the quality of her dogs they should google her name. This nut job is the only one complaint you will find even though she has been in the business more than 30 years. Is your mother's puppy deaf too. Karen said you came back a later and bought an additional pup for your mom. PS she has never done labs, Her mastiffs are pets both males and only one Neapolitan Mastiff that she no longer breeds. She only does Chihuahuas and Bulldogs. And she does do breed rescue with all four of those breeds. This is simply harassment ! Get a job and a life young lady
The contract clearly says the guarantee is for 72 hours only then needs to be checked by a vet of your choosing. Why did your own vet miss this and if you can't prove you had that check done than YOU have made your contract null and void! Stop harassing people. This is clearly about something else. I spoke with Karen about this matter after I read this and she says you were texting her for months after picking up your puppy, with no mention of deafness. That you said many times how much you love the puppy and even made plans to go to the Casino together.
There is obviously something else going on here and if I were you I would take this down before she pursues litigation against you. I happen to know that one of her partners is a lawyer!

I couldn't disagree with this post more! I have purchased several of Karen's dogs and friends and family who admired the dogs I purchased have also bought dogs from her. I found her honest to a fault sometimes.
Why did you wait until you had the puppy over three months before you tried to contact her about your puppy's deafness if you figured it out after a week. Also, I have had dogs for more than 50 years and I know there are no vets who do any hearing tests as part of a routine well puppy check so I am unsure why you are so convinced she knew?
I find Karen to be silly and charming, but a little scattered. I feel you have misjudged her. I did a google search on her name after reading this and found no other complaints about her despite the fact that she has been breeding for something like 20 years and probably has sold hundreds of dog. I feel you have some kind of personal grudge you are trying to settle so shame on you for bringing it to a public venue!
I just looked at the health guarantee she gave me with my 7 year old Chihuahua and she does not say she will give you your money back...she says she will give you a replacement puppy but you must surrender your puppy you have has for almost 4 months with no complaint. Are you really willing to give this pup up because of his disability? I think ilovemydog92 is the wrong name for you!
I am glad you are pursuing this. Many people do not take action against unethical breeders. I think more people should not just expose them, but take legal action them, also puppy/kitten mills disguised as rescues. I am sorry about your dog. I hope that he is a great dog, regardless that he is deaf. It shows how unethical that breeder os that she would use that dog to breed! Hope there is a special place in hell for people like her.
