In late November 2010, I started talking to "Faith" about adopting 2 puppies that were rescued. Faith told me how cute the "Boys" were and how they were going to be neutered and microchipped before they could be delivered. I spoke to someone in the vets office on the day of the neuter and was told that there were 8 dogs of hers there that day and no bloodwork or microchip done on any of the dogs. Faith told me she does the microchipping herself. On Dec. 7, 2010 she asked me to go ahead and send $100.00 per dog as downpayment so she could put the banners on the website that they were adopted. She did not put the banners on the dogs, possibly because she had promissed them to others. I used the website to send the $200.00, as she has no contract. Then I found out from a person working with the AKC that I needed to do research on "Wendy Faith Laymon". This is when I found out about the complaints. When I called "Faith" she turned the phone over to someone named "Grace" who told me that the business was hers not Wendy Faith Laymon's and that Wendy works for her. She informed me that the $200.00 I had sent was a donation and did I "understand how hard it is to get donations or people to work for you". She told me that my deposit would not be refunded as they need all they can get to purchase these dogs at auctions for resale. This is not a rescue, this is a business. Wendy Faith Laymon was ordered to stop her puppymill for 3 years so this is how she is making money now. I don't know, she may still be breeding dogs. Grace also informed me that any papers they have on the dogs are shredded and no papers are given with the dogs nor any type of medical guarantee like the website says a guarantee of 1 year.
I can't believe this, Who Owns This Business? Grace or the "Good Christian" - Wendy Faith Laymon? Perhaps Grace should look at WendyLaymon.com to learn who owns this business.
BEWARE AND FORWORNED OF DEALINGS WITH THE GOOD CHRISTIAN WOMAN IN MISSOURI!

Hey just ran across this. Im in the middle of adopting from resuceafrenchbulldog.com Already sent a down payment for a 5 year old male Ziggy. Was a little worried about sending the rest without a contract so I started googling. To be clear, did you get your dog, or just decide not to send the rest of the money after reading about the violations etc? Is there a reason you wouldn't want to "adopt" an older breading dog? Feel free to email me joshm121@msn.com.

To the person who posted this. Please contact the HSUS. They are taking her fake rescue very seriously. They need to hear first hand stories from people like you. They are NOT a rescue and they do NOT have a 501(c) 3 they just stole your money. Grace is probably her daughter or some other scam artist relative.

Contact this person running this website and they can put you in touch with the two HSUS people who are looking into this.
