I was an excellent salon customer at the Factoria Mall location for a year. Never missed an appointment, tipped above average no matter what and was always tactful to the employees even if they were not. A few months into seeing Elite stylist Heidi, she botched my toner and gave me orange stripes, uneven on both sides to top it off with. I stopped seeing her and only let Colette the longer-range Elite Stylist and the District Trainer Christina do my hair going forward. Since Christina was the one to fix Heidi's mess back in August of 2022, I stuck all my appointments with her until she began cancelling them day off basically 3 times. I eventually got frustrated and stuck with Colette who didn't call off as many days. She was a real hoot though, Loud, crass, gossipy controversial banter with coworkers all in front of guests. and lazy at best, with pretty decent hair skills so I became a regular with her until just last week after seeing her for 5 months she botched my color. I guess she was too busy talking about her miserable life to notice that one side of the head had more orange yellow stripes than the other. And that she knew better than to apply a lighter toner. I ended up with ugly uneven orange and bright yellow uneven stripes and lines all over my once beautiful hair.
Asked to speak to Jamila the Salon Manager. And wow! Talk about rude and conniving. She was a real joke to speak to. Did not seem at all interested in helping me get rebooked for a re do knowing very well by picture proof how horrendous my hair looked. Placed me on a long hold to s* talk about me with the stylist Colette. Came back and cut me off mid sentence twice to say they were too busy and could throw on a gloss and call it a day. I spent $350 at the salon per usual and was ignored when I didn't get an appropriate result yet was told to deal with it, throw on a $70 gloss on their dime and be happy. Nice. They did not even fix what they ruined. Jamila was very rude and un professional with aggressive demeanor to both my partner and I. When we went for the re do, Colette was very aggressive and argumentative threw gloss and had me out in 1 hour. We did not have to but we tipped 20% for her time again. After we paid, a snarly snappy white older lady said and I need to speak to the both of you. Then she said and YOU specifically. I think you are not happy with our service and you need to find another salon because we are going to cancel all your future appointments with us. Wow, ok! Well we were not planning on supporting you anymore but you did not need to make it worse and show your true racist colors!
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and full refund so my new colorist can fix my hair. Also, Colette and Jamila should be placed on unpaid disciplinary time off for their crude and demeaning behavior abuse and awful customer service.
