Due to the recent winter storm in our county, Halifax, Virginia, my family of 10 needed a place to go that had power, heat, and water. That's why we choose to stay at one of your hotels; Super 8 Lynchburg, Hotel ID 11259. Upon arriving, the building had curb appeal and seemed like a good choice. I reserved 2 rooms to accommodate my family; wife, kids, and grandchildren. We arrived around 8:30 pm and went to our rooms. There we found them unclean, and many issues. There was no toilet paper, cigarette burns all over the tub (rm317), the linens were dirty, lots of trash behind the beds, the door safety lock was broken and the wall unit fell off the wall (rm 315), water would not go down the drain in the bathtub, so you showered while standing in inches of water. Then we also had issues with the neighboring guests. The men were walking the halls, knocking on our room doors, sitting around in the hall floor on phones, and smoking marijuana and cigarettes. Due to all of these experiences, my family was fearful and uncomfortable. I decided to relocate, because of confrontations and my families safety, we checked out around 2:30 am. I would appreciate a refund and a thorough investigation of this property. The staff could care less and you could feel the tension. There was even a sign stating they only cleaned 3 days a week. With our pandemic, that's ridiculous! Thank you for your time. I hope to hear from you soon.
