The date of my accident was 01/01/21. I am now writing this on 2/3/21, allstate has had some of the worst customer care I have seen, they are sure nice when you call. However, the actual service has caused me actual anxiety. Cars are necessary in these times, I was able to obtain a 30-day rental car which was lovely. Everything was going well until about halfway through the month I wondered why I hadn't heard a single thing. I was told that allstate would take care of everything that I didn't need to worry about. Now halfway through the month, I get nothing so I call them. They then send over the info to the shop because the shop has the wrong phone number for me. So they didn't even have my car yet! So I worked with them to get it all resolved so that they can do the inspection. All good now? No. They sent me the estimate in the app, and then my car sits there until I call about a quarter way through the month. Find out the insurance has been calling the wrong phone number even though it's attached to my account! So they finally tell me my car "may be totaled" explained the process and said their total loss department would get on it. I am getting worried at this point because my rental is up in a few days, they assure me that I will have the check to pay for a new car the next week. I don't trust them at this point because of everything else, call to check in after enterprise has to charge me almost $200. Find out they haven't even started yet. The woman from the total loss department had to ask me for my lenders' information before they got started. On their records, they have my lender info! There is no reason I should have to google a customer service number for a customer service representative. I am just now being sent a form to fill out. Extremely unprofessional, I am now without a car wondering when I will get my money. I need to be reimbursed for these enterprise charges via some sort of discount or whatever is possible.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of enterprise charges. $200 so far
