There is a side item that I often purchase from Cracker Barrel's. The quantity I order is to serve ten people; I went in today and placed the same order and was told that I could not purchase as always because they were expecting customers tomorrow (Thanksgiving) and they did not want to run out of food! This statement was absolutely asinine to me; you are refusing a customer today standing in front of you to buy... for one that might show up tomorrow to buy. Were the food items going to cost a lot more on Thanksgiving Day than they were the day before?
Can you explain to me which "business model" Cracker Barrel has implemented? Either the policy is imbecilic or the employees were behaving in a manner that would indicate some deficiency in logical thinking.
Please make it make sense!
The problem began with the woman at the cash register who was supposed to take the to-go order, it spread from there to the kitchen. The woman at the register indicated she was the restaurant manager; I hope this is not an example of your management team.
This incident took place at the Shackleford Rd. location in Little Rock, AR beginning at approximately 3:30-3:45 PM on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.
