RaceWay Gas Stations

Poor communications and customer service is the best I can say about this Raceway in Dothan, AL. After swiping my card and entering my zip code I realized the front of the gas pump was not locked. It was completely opened. I pressed the attendant button, they said they would be out to look at the pump. No one came. I finally went inside, no one was in line, I explained to the 2 attendants that the gas pump was unlocked. The male attendant took 2 white bags and followed me to the pump. I asked why it was open, he didn't answer. I showed him that pump was unlocked and opened and expressed my concerns that my card may have been compromised. Still no answer. When he finished tying the bags over the handles, we began walking off toward the store. As soon as I said I was taking pictures of the open pump, he turned and pushed the pump closed. I opened it again and he pushed it closed again. I told him I was taking a picture and I was calling the police. He pushed the pump closed again and walked back into the store. I called the police. While I was waiting for them to arrive, the male attendant came out of the store with a set of keys and locked the pump. All I wanted was an explanation of why the pump was unlocked. Instead I was treated rudely and received no explanation. When the police arrived someone in the store told the police the pump wasn't working. It sure took my card information! I confirmed that with the company that issued my credit card as I was canceling that card. So be aware and check those pumps!
