Sep 25, 2019 I made deposit of $3813.28 for foundation repairs on my 42 year old home to Southeast Foundation Company, Clinton, NC. On Oct 30, 2019 work was done and I paid $8267.64 for a total of $12080.92. At that time I was recently widowed, in my 60s, so I did not crawl under the house to inspect their work. I was left no paperwork. In 2022 I remarried and put the house up for sale April 2022. May 23, 2022 there was a home inspection. Damages found: Debris and hanging insulation left when repaired, the jacks were jacked up on the ground without footings and into now splintered wood. Foundation shows signs of movement. Dehumidifier was installed and never plugged in. It is facing outside wall at one end of the home-not in the center where outlet is provided. June 2022 we had a licensed contractor to look at the damage and he suggested calling the foundation company that had made the repairs. I called the same day. Josh with Southeast Foundation indicated the company had been sold and they were finding alot of issues from previous jobs. He said I should have been notified to set up yearly inspections and it was still under warranty. He scheduled an inspection. June 29th Southeast Foundation inspector said it was "not the first but was the worst job he had seen" and would discuss it with his General Manager. After several phone calls a month later, Service Manager, Lee, came to house, July 27. She promised a phone follow-up the next day, July 28, by 5pm. Myself and my husband have called, left messages, asked to speak to Lee, and she has not accepted our calls or returned our calls. We have lost 3 sales on the house and have had to hire another crawl space company to repair damages. Their inspector said the encapsulation was ok and now that dehumidifier was plugged in it was working - just needs to be relocated. We feel that from July 27 until today, Sep 23, is adequate time for a response from Southeast Foundation of Clinton NC and therefore we file this complaint.

Desired outcome: Payment for cost of repairs, since they are not interested in repairing it themselves
