25.09.2023 - I am liase with Soh ([protected]) to repair my company existing TV that already our of warranty. He suggest to buy the new one, which the price just not different too much with repair and I am asking if we can buy extend warranty 2+3 for that new TV. He gave discount voucher and quotation for TV and extend warranty.

05.10.2023 - I bought the TV with discount voucher and pay using credit card from Sony website and inform Soh about that. He said within 14 days after TV delivered need to inform him to purchase extended warranty. I also do not updated about my billing address which it supposed address to my company. I just using my details.

09.10.2023 - In the morning, Hasmizi ([protected]) inform me to deliver TV by that day. Sony delivery guy deliver TV to my company and I contact Soh to install the TV at existing mounted bracket. At the same time Teo ([protected]) contact me to give details to purchase extended warranty.

10.10.2023 - Soh come and told me the TV I got is different modal which more expensive (KD-65X80L) than the one that I bought (KD-65X75K). So I contact back Hasmizi inform about the wrong delivery items. I ask Hasmizi to take the wrong TV and deliver the right one to my company.

11.10.2023 - Hasmizi inform will take the wrong item and deliver the one that I bought. TV arrived around before 11am and I contact Soh for installation. Soh come for installation around 4pm - charge RM80.

At this time, I contact Soh asking to regenerate bill to my company address but he do not know to do that. I chat customer service, they say that also cannot help about that because it is my fault for not update the address for billing.

The reason why I need to change the bill to company name because I purchase the TV for company used and I want to claim back to my company. My company reject the claim because the bill stated my name, not my company name.

12.10.2023 - I contact Teo give the details for the TV, and Teo email me the quotation. This time, Teo said can pay using credit card.

17.10.2023 - I contact Teo to give link for credit card payment but he said it credit card payment only can be done at service center. So I request him invoice for our finance team to bank transfer to his company.

At evening around 4.30pm, Teo contact me said that extend warranty only for household user, company cannot purchase extended warranty.

I follow up with Soh regarding of extended warranty cannout be purchase by company and he said he will check about this.

18.10.2023 - I follow up back with Soh, Soh said company cannot purchase extended warranty. I contact Teo back because payment release already. Asking for refund and official email why company cannot purchase warranty. I cannot claim my money from company and still working on it with approval from top management in my company.

Desired outcome: lot of misleading information about wrong delivery item and extended warranty. Despite of my honesty, Sony team do not have any favour and common sense to help regenerate bill to my company address, because it do not cost Sony any lost.
