I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue regarding an unauthorized charge on my credit card. I recently canceled my service with Scribd and was shocked to discover that I have been billed for a subscription renewal despite not requesting or authorizing such a charge.

Below are the details of the unauthorized charge:

Date of Charge: 10-26-23

Amount Charged: $11.99

Credit Card Number: 9262

I would like to emphasize that I canceled my Scribd subscription on 9-26-23, well before the next billing cycle and the end of the free trail. I have not accessed or used any of Scribd's services since canceling. Therefore, it is evident that this charge is not only unauthorized but also in direct violation of our previous agreement.

I have already contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge and initiate an investigation into this matter. However, I believe it is crucial for you, as the service provider, to be aware of the situation and take immediate action to rectify it.

I kindly request the following actions from Scribd:

Refund: I expect a full refund of the unauthorized charge to be issued promptly. The amount should be credited back to my credit card account within [number of days] from the date of this letter.

Investigation: I urge you to conduct a thorough investigation into this incident to determine how an unauthorized charge was processed after cancellation.
