if you don't want the worst heart ache please don't by from this kennel her name is joyce flint. She sells chihuahua and other breeds

i recieved a champion sired chihuahua pup had giardia and coccidia was treated and dies at 4 months from conjestive heart failure

2nd 1 she gave me or i should say forced me to pick at at 3 weeks and only 3 days of mourning my loss i saw a twin same champion dad different mom.when i went back to pick up i was wanting to change my mind i saw same fat gut as my other and felt he was not going to be healthy, i called her at 6 months since this was to be a breeder male no testicles down, teeth weren't coming in right.she didn't care, at 1 year he was underdeveloped in many ways go look at finally home rescues who are trying to save him.he had deformed mouth, no testicles, tongue hanging to the side, walks in circles, sneezes and hgas breathing isssues.and this breeder still did not care that she hurt us not 1x but twice and said my 2 day warrenty was all you get.

Any good breeder knows a vet cannot predict if the male will deform until he grows.go see his photo on the rescue group finally home rescues.they are on face book.

needless to say are heart are still broken and trusted this show breeder to be honest and trustworthy.

I am warning everyone stay clear or take a risk of being torn and out tons of money because of her.

I don't have any words that can really address the pain you feel when you loose a puppy you are so in love with, but there are many things that differentiate between 1- a "Show-Quality" Puppy (price: $900 - $5000+); 2- a potential non-showing breeding stock puppy (in my eyes, personally, I don't come across very many dogs that are legitimately "breeding worthy" if they are not ALSO "show quality") but on special circumstances that can happen(price: $800 - $1200+); and 3- the third and largest group of puppies, even among the best breeders in the WORLD, is the dog that should ONLY be a pet AND only sold with a spay/neuter contract (price:$350 - $600)!
I have not seen Joyce in several years, and I don't know when your incident occurred, nor do I want to anger you or make you say ugly things about me. However, in 1998 when I wanted my first show quality Chihuahua, I called and scheduled a meeting with Joyce and went to her home to meet several candidates. What we found was the most stunning tri-color long-coat female I had ever laid my eyes on! Her name was Bianca. Bianca had incredibly good CH bloodlines on BOTH sides of her parentage, perfect form (and if you doubt that, consider this- Bianca won a 5 point major from the 6-9 month puppy class at a Chihuahua Speciality at age 7 months old!) She had beauty and was a show-stopper for sure, but when you want a "show-quality" dog, you pay a show quality price! Which I did gladly and was so incredibly happy that I later purchased several other Chihuahuas from Joyce who currently range from 9-14 years old!
Regarding your complaint of "giardia and coccidia"- did you take the puppy to the vet at all? Those types of things would have been easily remedied with simple deworming. And as for your claim that the pup died of "congestive heart failure" at only 4 months old, I GUARANTEE that is NOT NORMAL! The biggest root-cause of congestive heart failure is nasty, decayed teeth which would not have happened by 4 months old without something very odd going on. Personally I have a dog with Grade V Congestive Heart Failure and he is 12 years old but did not develop the condition until after age 10 years and it was because I ran into financial difficulty and personal problems that prevented me from getting the expensive dental cleaning my dog needed EVERY YEAR. This is MY FAULT, NO the breeder's fault. However, with a combination of 3 medications my little dog is still very happy and doing very well two years after being diagnosed, and at a total costs of approx $15 per month or medications.
As for your comment about "mouth deformity" I would have to see exactly what you are referring to, BUT extra canine teeth that do not fall out on their own, called "deciduous canine teeth" are incredibly common in small breed dogs such as Chihuahuas and are very easy for a licensed Vet to remove. In fact, it is NOT a "deformity" at all! Its merely a baby tooth that failed to fall out before the adult tooth grew in behind it.
I know you feel pain from your loss. I recently lost one of my old girls this week at age 14 years myself and I still cry whenever I even hear her name or think about her...and by the way, I got her from Joyce Flint as well.
I don't know what you are trying to achieve by attacking Joyce or Royal Acres Kennels, but I can tell you most certainly that there are FAR WORSE people in the Kitsap Community that don't even TRY to have good dogs, such as Farmland Pet and Feed Store in Silverdale that buys dogs from Kansas and other states where puppy mills are perfectly legal and sell them for top-dollar to the unsuspecting public.
The "AKC" registration means NOTHING and is merely a number you will need to have if you ever want to show your pup in a sanctioned event BUT he AKC does NOTHING to police who/how many/etc., dogs are registered and how true those bloodlines really are. Maybe you should petition them for more strict proving and DNA requirements if you are concerned about such things.
Finally, you MUST take personal responsibility if you failed to have that puppy checked out by a licensed vet within your warranty period, failed to have the minimum doses of vaccine administered before 12 weeks old, and failed to have your puppy fecal tested for parasites! Giardia can be caught from drinking from a mountain stream! Its commonly called "Beaver Fever" for that very reason! So take personal responsibility, educate yourself, and know what you are getting into before you buy. I am nonetheless sorry for your loss, but you do hold some level of personal responsibility here too.
