Ronnie B Productions review: Fraud 5

I was hired to DJ RonnieB Productions to DJ a wedding in Southern, Ohio. DJ RonnieB Productions contacted me thru Craigslist abot 2 weeks before the event. Before the event, he was extremely easy to contact and get a response. I asked him how I was going to be paid, his response was "by check or paypal, whichever you prefer".

On the day of the wedding, we were met by the groom who was unhappy with DJ RonnieB. DJ RonnieB Productions had taken their money, but failed to contact them until just before the wedding. He also tried to charge them a higher amount, until the bride and groom reminded him of the contracted amount that they had already paid. We also were not provided a list of any songs the bride andnd groom wanted played before, during and after the wedding. The only time we were given any information about music requests was an email from the bride. Fortunately, I have a large library of music. I had every song they wanted and more.

I have been contacting RonnieB Productions since 2 days after the wedding. But, no one ever responds to my emails or contacts me back.

On Thursday night, my wife called DJ RonnieB Productions phone number and left a voicemail stating she wanted to speak with someone regarding DJ services. I guess they thought she was interested in hiring a DJ for an event, because we received a call back from them the very next day.

I got on the phone and spoke with an "employee" name Jessica. I told Jessica who I was and wanted to know when I would be getting paid. Her response was "I don't work in that department, I don't know." I was so mad, I hung up.

My wife later left a voicemail for DJ RonnieB Productions. In the voicemail, my wife stated "we expect the pay for rthe DJ services provided, and the check to be in our mailbox by Monda. If not, then we will be contacting the Illinois and Ohio Attorney Generals office". In the line of work my wife is in, she has a lot of positive contact with many States Attorney Generals Offices.

About 10 minutes later, my wife received a call back from Jessica with DJ RonnieB Productions. Jessica stated that she had passed the message along to DJ RonnieB, but that she also did not work in that department. My wife then reminded Jessica that just because it's not the same department, you still work for the company. Jessica started yelling at my wife stating that "you are not to yell at me or raise your voice to me."

My wife is a customer service supervisor and feels that this is the worst customer service she has received.

It is now Saturday morning, we have not heard back from DJ RonnieB Productions by phone or email.

If we do not receive the check by this monday, we are contacting the Attorney Generals office. We will keep you posted.

When you call DJ RonnieB Productions, you are given an option to enter an extension. RonnieB's extension in 1, Jessica's is extension 2, and I am not sure who has extension #3.
