RLstore review: eBay Scam Report

To whom it may concern! ATTENTION! FRAUD SCAM from rl_store AGAINST EbAY and consumer! On Monday January 10th I inquired (SEE EMAIL BELOW) about Item Id: [protected] on eBay to a company called RL_Store. From a very simple price discount inquiry rl_store turned my inquiry into a scam to defraud eBay! Someone was very quick to reply (SEE EMAIL BELOW) persuading me to do business away from eBay, convincing me to take 10% discount providing the transaction was done out of eBay directly through PayPal eliminating eBay from the deal! They went as far as disguising spelling the email address benj_xq aaattt hhootommaaiill d0t c0m on eBay to circumvent eBay email detection in order to complete the transaction and not pay eBay commission calling it 10% discount for me! Please see precise excerpts from our email exchange below. Dear rl_store, Hello RL Store Please take no offense in me contacting you Would you accept $200 for the jacket? thanks Roger Viabyte RL_store reply on eBay’s site was: Dear viabyte, Hi, Our price on ebay is firm. However, if you send money DIRECTLy by paypal outside of ebay, we can give 10% off. This will only apply to domestic orders.If you want to proceed, you can send a paypal payment to our address at benj_xq aaattt hhootommaaiill d0t c0m. Total is 10% off. Please make note of item number and size, and make sure you include your shipping address. Thanks. rl_store This eBay merchant is dishonest, a cheater, and very disrespectful. As they realized I was asking too many questions and challenged the integrity of transacting cheating eBay, they quickly refunded my money and even blocked me from buying the item officially on eBay! Once again the above emails can easily be verified by eBay of how deceitful this company was with me and eBay. I am quite sure I am not the first one to be offered such a 10% discount deal for cutting eBay out of their commissions! As eBay’s policy is clear in stating direct communication via tel# or email is prohibited but they could not detect benj_xq aaattt hhootommaaiill d0t c0m, for it does not look like an email address, therefore undetectable! Furthermore, as we all know eBay keeps records of all email inquiries between buyers and sellers, and I highly recommend eBay investigate previous such communication from RL_store and prospective buyers. EBay is very likely to find thousands of dollars in cheated commissions, such as I was offered, owed by RL_store, especially with 11643 registered completed transactions. Consumers beware of this company’s sweet deals which are illegitimate and way out of eBay business procedure policies. Also, these guys claim to be from Pennsylvania or domestic business, however they don’t even have a customer service telephone number registered with eBay nor PayPal and the recipient of payments is Non-U.S. business! I urge eBay to do something about this unscrupulous eBay seller! Yes, they are strong seller for eBay but I am sure if eBay investigates their practices and the infamous email disguise benj_xq aaattt hhootommaaiill d0t c0m numerous “out of eBay” discounted transactions will be found! I contacted PayPal and spoke to them at length, although they list being in the US the company is actually in China. PayPal made several attempts to call their account registered tel# and no one ever picked up. I started a dispute for $225 refund because they never sent tracking number, no reply to 4 emails, merchandise did not arrive the Friday as they promised, and I saw they sold item on eBay to other member! As of today, 01/19/16 I have filed a dispute with PayPal for a refund of my money $225, which has been unanswered by rl_store and has now been escalated to full fledged dispute! Thanks in advance, I am eBay member with over 100 100% positive feedback transactions on eBay!
