United States Contractors Trust Nonpayment of medical bills

I have been a member of USCT since June 1, 2009, and in all that time, I have not been covered for any of my medical bills. I did not receive the discount I was promised for services rendered when I spoke with a customer service rep from the company. I was charged for over $1, 000 for services rendered at Regions Hospital Speciality Center in St. Paul and another bill for over $1, 000 from Health Partners, Regions Hospital's sister program. The latter of these two bills I could not pay and was contacted by a collections agency who unpleasantly informed me that I would face consequences if I did not pay my bill in full. I was forced to leave my wonderful doctors at Regions/HP because USCT lied to me about being eligible for a discount for my services. Last year, I had my annual physical exam at Synergy Family Physicians in lieu of the doctor's name being on the USCT list of providers on the web site: www.accesshealthnow.com. This is another part of the USCT scam, since the physician I saw had never heard of USCT and had no idea of her name being on their list. USCT once again DID NOT provide the discount for services rendered. In lieu of the USCT scam, I have not been able to have my yearly checkup and blood work this year. I have been out of work for the past two years and can barely make ends meet much less pay for medical services in full. What a terrible sin it is to take such cruel advantage of customers who are promised services we so desperately need, only to discover the hard way they are victims of a scam.

United States Contractors Trust Claims

I have bills from an emergency surgery in 10/2010 which have not been paid. I have been threatened with these being reported on my credit. I contacted them in February and was told that the company has refused to process any claims submitted after 8/2010. That person told me that the company wouldn't even respond to their emails or phone calls. They gave me the following numbers: [protected] ext 801, fax [protected]. I just called and got a voice mail. I called the customer service number on my card this morning and was told they had a "back log" and were just now processing 9/2010 claims. I have contacted the PA Attorney General office and am being sent complaint forms. I also contacted and left a message with the PA Insurance Commission. I urge everyone who is having problems with this company to contact the phone number I have listed and leave a message if you have to. Also, contact the Attorney General and Insurance Commission for your state to file complaints.

Frustrated Mainer

I am ashamed to admit I have been duped/scammed by this company for the last four years. I didn't realize how bad this company was until about a month or so ago, I received a stack of unpaid medical bills totaling nearly $10, 000. It would have been nice if my medical care provider hadn't waited so long to inform me as well. Nothing was covered. Absolutely no correspondence from the insurance company to my medical care provider. I am now in the process of trying to find another health insurance company. This is frustrating to say the least. I have always thought I was an intelligent, savvy person and wouldn't ever get caught in a mess like this. Surprise, surprise! It can happen to anyone. I'm glad to see some more information on the web about this low life. I doubt I'll ever get any money in return. I'm still going to send a letter requesting my premiums be repaid although I am sure I will, most likely, not even receive the courtesy of a phone call or letter in response.

This company is scam! They are not licensed to sell insurance in any of the 50 states, which includes California. United States Contractors Trust or USCT's founders/affiliates have operated many previous companies, under a multitude of names/owners all just as unreputable as USCT. Companies such as American Trade Association (ATA), Smart Data Solution...
